Really great coffee! The house drip is strong but if your like me I'd add a shot or two depending your taste. The barista made my order fairly quick & the inside is definitely a spot to lounge in or work on your laptop if needed. They had a good playlist & it's Nicely lit. Service was definitely great . read more

Being from Miami I have to say the Cortadito was fire. Thanks to my daughter that insisted on going.

Was on a trip to Tallahassee recently and needed a spot to grab a quick lite bite and coffee as well as a good spot to get some work done. RedEye Coffee delivered! They have an interesting and inventive specialty coffee menu. I decided to try something different than my normal and got a sage white chocolate sage latte. The barista warned that it was an unusual flavor that some people really love and some aren't such fans of. He had never tasted the latte before but mentioned it smelled like pizza. So, that latte sorta does also have a flavor reminiscent of pizza. I was not a fan but it wasn't so bad that I wasn't willing to drink it (the barista was lovely and offered to make me something else, but I declined). So, while I didn't love that one, I'm eager to give their rosemary caramel latte a try the next time I'm in! For my breakfast, I got their avocado everything toast. It's a delectable combo of mashed avocado, cream cheese, tomato slices, everything bagel seasoning atop toasted sourdough bread with a drizzle of balsamic reduction. It was as good as it sounds! It was also a solid spot to get a little work done. I was able to find a quiet table that even had a nearby outlet! Get to it! read more

I'll admit it--I'm a sucker for a good sponsored ad. I was scrolling Facebook this morning, hungry and in desperate need of something in my belly, when RedEye Coffee popped up. Saw they were women- and minority-owned? Instant order. And let me tell you, it hit the spot. The matcha was smooth, the Nutella and banana toast was fresh, and the whole experience just felt like a win. You can tell they care about their craft and their craft and their community. read more

Redeye has the best café con leche in town. It's sweet but still tastes like coffee. I have been coming here since college and it's still the best place to study in Tallahassee. A lot of people like Lucky Goat and it's great, but Redeye has the best combination of atmosphere and great-tasting coffee. Best time to be there is in the early morning. It's a little quieter and the rest of customers are more focused on work. read more

Stopped in here for our fuel to start the 20 hour drive home after dropping our Nole off. Girls working there were so friendly and helpful not only about the delicious coffee but solid off campus housing advice. Mocha and Matcha were both 5 stars out of 5 read more

I went to RedEye Coffee twice while stay in Tallahassee. Once I got cold brew and the other time I got Americano. Both drinks were okay. The shop has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Also this shop can be hard to get to because it was on a small street. It was pretty easy for me to find parking but I can see it being a problem during the day. The people working were friendly. I forgot to get the receipt one day and called them the next day and they were happy to text it to me. Overall, its a nice alternative to other coffee shops in the area. read more

Hands down this is the best coffee shop I have yet to find in the Tallahassee community. Not only was the service great when we had questions or asked for recommendations but the coffee was phenomenal. The baristas were happy to let us know what they thought was the best options along with making sure we were happy after the fact. We ended up trying the Caramel Vanilla Latte which was perfect and the Mexican Mocha Latte which was different in the best way possible. The Mexican Mocha we order with hesitation but were reassured after trying it leaving more than happy come the end of the day. Red Eye has become my personal new favorite coffee shop and I can assure you we will be returning to try other house Lattes and their extensive food menu. read more

Red Eye Coffee is delicious and a great alternative to chain coffee spots. They are inexpensive, delicious, and they have a lot of unique and tasty options. I got the White Chocolate Sage Latte - and it was SO good! They made the foam so adorable on top, Perfect for photos. This is a great spot to pop in for a fresh coffee & get some work done in peace. I tried Red Eye for the first time a few weeks ago. I attended their coffee Flight event. From the moment that I walked in, the environment was great. The staff was friendly and made sure we were satisfied with our drinks. The drinks were delicious. This is def. going to be my new coffee spot on the weekends. Unfortunately, the cafe isn't on my way to work. Otherwise, They would be taking ALL of my money. I love that they have dairy free options. They have a super cute mural inside of the cafe. read more

Looking for a place to drink a nice beverage and work for the morning, we came to RedEye based on its reviews. The good news is that there are many tables and many outlets scattered around the perimeter - it was definitely planned for lots of laptop charging and to be used as a workspace. I got a lavender latte with oat milk, which tasted alright. It wished it was hotter. My wife got a golden tea drink with oat milk. She strongly disliked it! It tasted like play-dough. I think their oat milk brand might not be good. Based on the beverages, we probably wouldn't return. read more

Ordered a 16 oz americano($3)with the sugar free chai flavoring but was charged for a chai with an extra shot($7). I understand that my drink may be somewhat unorthodox but I dont appreciate being charged for a milk based drink when I ordered a water based drink. Some critical thinking skills would go along way in these situations. Also, it was luke warm. Quiche was good, although a little overpriced. Willing to give this place another shot if I can get someone to understand how to ring in a flavored americano. read more

I have driven past this this shop located in the heart of Midtown off of fifth. When you walk in, the shop is much bigger looking on the inside than what it looks on the outside. There is outdoor seating in a somewhat shaded area. I ordered a large Caramel Vanilla Latte Hot. That costs $5.25 with tax. Also, I grabbed the very big chocolate muffin $3.25 and cheese danish $3.25 as they were calling my name. The latte was made quickly even with it being busy. I am so happy I pulled into this great coffee shop as the Caramel Vanilla Latte was delicious. I will definitely be back to try one of those lavender coffees and I saw a jalapeño cold brew that needs to be checked out. read more

Redeye Coffee was one of my first non-chain local coffee shops I've ever visited. It's a different vibe from your neighborhood Starbucks, for sure. Located in the busy Midtown Manor, Redeye Coffee has a cool atmosphere for studying or just hanging out. Be sure to grab yourself a nitro cold brew! They serve you in a Redeye Coffee glass pint, which almost made me feel like I was sipping on a beer. There seemed to be plenty of seating indoor and out, so escape the humid Florida air or enjoy the brief "fall" weather we get once a year. Support your local coffee shops and hit up Redeye (says a Starbucks gold member)...! read more

Almost like a local version of starbucks but it's better in every conceivable way. I got an iced lavender vanilla latte which was excellent. It was arguably as expensive as Starbucks and 10x better quality. I'll definitely be going back. read more

Since moving to Tally, I've come to Redeye several times. I love it! I'm big on flavored iced lattes during the summer, and they've made it perfectly EVERY time!! The staff has an upbeat, positive attitude and willingness to explain anything on the menu. I would recommend commuting here by bike or walking since the parking lot is very limited. Other than that, you'll love it here. I've done a lot of studying here and they have several outlets near every table to charge up devices. read more

Attention: Redeye serves Cuban coffee! This place was recommended to me by a friend who said it was a great place to do work or study while sipping on some tea or coffee. Yes, that's pretty much what everybody sitting here is doing whenever I'm there so this seems more like a work place than anything else. The coffee is really good. Their menu is pretty big and they have some good free-trade coffee options. I was most impressed that they have Cuban coffee and their cortadito is excellent. They also have the option to have almond or soy milk which I love since I usually get my coffee with almond milk. Really convenient place with delicious coffee. Win-win. read more

Another great RedEye coffee location! I love that we have another coffee option on this side of town, especially with such a high concentration of coffee shops in the College Town area. I love Lucky Goat, but it's such always so full on the weekends and we needed another place to go! So thank you RedEye for branching out! It's a good sized space for either getting work done on your laptop or enjoying a relaxing conversation. I usually grab a cold brew with a shot of espresso or a cuban coffee and then plonk down with my computer. There's even a cute little fireplace, if you want to read with nice ambience. I will say though that the food is only ok. My bagel and lox last time was a bit fishy and the BLT was pretty small for the price. So just be forewarned if you plan to have breakfast here too. Otherwise, it's a great spot to grab a coffee! read more

Very disappointed. I had a large dark roast coffee and it was not bold enough. Very weak in taste. Tasted like they did not put enough coffee in to brew it or it was not brewed long enough. I also had a egg bowl and it looked like something they would serve in a homeless shelter. It was not worth the $4 I paid for it. read more

This is a covid review of their "Breakfast Club." With many of us only wanting to to take-out or curbside, Red Eye has us covered! They have partnered with Street Chefs, a local food truck/caterer, to offer a Breakfast Club. Each week they pick a different location to bring fresh cooked goodness and wonderful beverages to your door. Place your order by Wednesday and it will be delivered to your door on Friday. And if you are not in their neighborhood that they will be serving that week, have no fear: you can place an order to pick it up! We ordered the Hakuna Frittata filled with meat, some cinnamon rolls filled with bacon, and a jug of cold brew. It showed up right on time and they have amazing customer service: you can track them online via the link in email, and they will text/call you when they have delivered! Perfect! Everything is pre-cooked and just needs to be heated (20 min for frittata, 10 for cinnamon roll). And everything heated up perfectly...just like we were being served fresh from initial cooking. The frittata was amazing, and can easily serve 4. The cinnamon rolls can also serve 2 each (but you almost certainly want your own) and were warm and gooey. The coffee was the outstanding Red Eye cold brew. For a little over $30 we had breakfast delivered that will feed us for two mornings. I am so glad that they are doing this, and am happy to help 2, small local businesses. read more

Kick off your shoes and enjoy one of my favorite dwellings in all of Tallahassee. The contemporary coffee shop always strives to go the extra mile. The service is forever friendly. The atmosphere suits appropriately for a coffee date as much as it does for a tedious day on the job. Most importantly, the coffee tastes excellent every time. A bold, flavorful Americano does the deed for this guy. Redeye is consistent with their beverages, the atmosphere is inviting while catering to all kinds, and they even donate some of their profits to charity. The expansive space with the sizeable, glass window panels is a midtown hot spot. The college students who know good coffee will drive past campus to Redeye. Can you blame them? read more
