    House Mocha

Popped in for a iced coffee - and this House Mocha does not disappoint. It's not too sweet and perfectly delicious. Perfect cozy coffeehouse vibes in here too!

Service was great, friendly baristas who made me feel welcome! I ordered a Mexican Mocha which was tasty and spicy (make sure you have water nearby for the coughing fits lol!) and a slice of zucchini bread which did not disappoint! I also loved that they carried some small gifts and wares from other local vendors. Definitely check out this spot for local coffee if you're in Tallahassee!

    I don't need it... but it's Friday!

I have enjoyed my recent visits to this establishment. The staff here have been so pleasant. The first time I came someone was even singing, quite well I might add. The Double Decker sandwich might be the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. It has egg, cheese, bacon and sausage on a ciabatta bun. The coffee here is great as well. I had the cinnamon bun on my last visit and it was soooo good. I won't hesitate to return.

Really like that they have an outdoor deck where you can chill and sip when the weather is nice. I enjoy their oatmilk lattes, in particular. My only complaint is that their beans always taste a little over-roasted to me.

Let's be frank here.....Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts are overrated and extremely commercialized. Often times smaller, quaint coffee shops are overlooked and I hope the reviews keep coming to make more people aware of this great coffee shop. Also, Red Eye is newly partnered with Capital Regional Medical Center and has a coffee shop on the 2nd floor. One of the best things about this coffee shop is that it is organic! Another great thing I love about this company is that they support the community. The following information comes directly from their website: "OUR PROMISE Every time you purchase a RedEye product you are making the world a better place. Our coffee and tea are socially and environmentally responsible, and all our profits go to local and global empowerment charities. Some examples of RedEye's local and global social impact: Local Involvement RedEye Coffee is committed to making Tallahassee the best place to live. RedEye helps fill the food gap for seventy-six under-resourced families here in Tallahassee, serves complimentary coffee out of our RedEye Mobile Café supporting community events all over Tallahassee, and sponsors a cycling club fighting childhood obesity. Additionally, through an academic relationship with FSU, RedEye Coffee mentors FSU students from the School of Business in the Social Entrepreneurship program with internships guiding social entrepreneurs of tomorrow on how to successfully plan, start, and run a social enterprise." Now lets move on to the taste.....AMAZING! You can tell that the quality of the product is high. The taste is very smooth. I have been to other coffee shops where the taste was almost "burnt" or acidic and I never find that in Redeye. I do wish they had signature drinks and more flavors available but when you are a true coffee drinker, you don't need all of that....you just want it from time to time. The atmosphere is small but quaint. It is quiet and a great place to have a meeting, study, or meet up with friends. I like the fact that it is not over crowded. TIPS: Join their rewards program. They are closed on Sundays.

I've recently went to an event at proof brewing company and red eye coffee was there. Let me tell you their flights of pumpkin coffee was on point. They had pumpkin spice cold brew, white chocolate maple cold brew, carrot cake iced tea and caramel biscotti iced tea. My personal favorite was the carrot cake iced tea, it was so delicious! Not only was the coffee great but so was their two employees that worked this event. 10/10 in my eyes!

Keeping it local at Red Eye Coffee today. This coffee shop is inside Capital Region Memorial Hospital on the second floor. It is a much needed respite during shifts or after an appointment. It is guaranteed high quality coffee. I was super happy to learn they have a reward program!

I'm a fan of Red Eye--and coffee in general--so, when I heard they had a new location, I had to check it out. This location is much smaller than the one in midtown. This is more of a Starbucks size. There are tables, communal booths and a bar and stools. There's also what appears to be a meeting/study room with a sliding door for privacy. There are five four-person tables outside, but they're right by the parking lot and Capital Circle, so probably not great for a study date. Along with great coffee and pastries/bagels, this location sells t-shirts, backpacks (purportedly handcrafted by the fine, indigenous folks of Central America), coffee cups, coffee growlers and four varieties of coffee beans. PS - They also have two gender-neutral, single occupancy bathrooms.

    Lavender vanilla latte
    Keerthi R.

This is my second time at red eye. I wanted to try something different so I went for the lavender vanilla latte with coconut milk. It's a little too sweet which hindered the coffee taste. The first time around I got a chai tea latte and I loved it!!! The service was great, very welcoming and quick. The seating is a little limited, it was completely packed when I went in. Will be back to try something different next time.

I ordered a lavender vanilla latte half sweet.. and it was basically milk with sugar. So gross. Where's the espresso???

Second or third time I've stopped here coming from Jacksonville. Caramel/vanilla latte and cafe con leche were great. Cool decor.

Beautiful place inside and out, located near other good restaurants. Drip dark roast (Colombia) was sour.
