If you're looking to study here while sipping on coffee, this is your place. However, if you're like me looking to enjoy the ambiance of a coffee shop then this isn't the spot for you. No ambiance. Super quiet. Perfect for just grab and go coffee.

Popped in for a iced coffee - and this House Mocha does not disappoint. It's not too sweet and perfectly delicious. Perfect cozy coffeehouse vibes in here too!

Service was great, friendly baristas who made me feel welcome! I ordered a Mexican Mocha which was tasty and spicy (make sure you have water nearby for the coughing fits lol!) and a slice of zucchini bread which did not disappoint! I also loved that they carried some small gifts and wares from other local vendors. Definitely check out this spot for local coffee if you're in Tallahassee!

    I don't need it... but it's Friday!

I have enjoyed my recent visits to this establishment. The staff here have been so pleasant. The first time I came someone was even singing, quite well I might add. The Double Decker sandwich might be the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. It has egg, cheese, bacon and sausage on a ciabatta bun. The coffee here is great as well. I had the cinnamon bun on my last visit and it was soooo good. I won't hesitate to return.

Really like that they have an outdoor deck where you can chill and sip when the weather is nice. I enjoy their oatmilk lattes, in particular. My only complaint is that their beans always taste a little over-roasted to me.

I've recently went to an event at proof brewing company and red eye coffee was there. Let me tell you their flights of pumpkin coffee was on point. They had pumpkin spice cold brew, white chocolate maple cold brew, carrot cake iced tea and caramel biscotti iced tea. My personal favorite was the carrot cake iced tea, it was so delicious! Not only was the coffee great but so was their two employees that worked this event. 10/10 in my eyes!

Keeping it local at Red Eye Coffee today. This coffee shop is inside Capital Region Memorial Hospital on the second floor. It is a much needed respite during shifts or after an appointment. It is guaranteed high quality coffee. I was super happy to learn they have a reward program!

I'm a fan of Red Eye--and coffee in general--so, when I heard they had a new location, I had to check it out. This location is much smaller than the one in midtown. This is more of a Starbucks size. There are tables, communal booths and a bar and stools. There's also what appears to be a meeting/study room with a sliding door for privacy. There are five four-person tables outside, but they're right by the parking lot and Capital Circle, so probably not great for a study date. Along with great coffee and pastries/bagels, this location sells t-shirts, backpacks (purportedly handcrafted by the fine, indigenous folks of Central America), coffee cups, coffee growlers and four varieties of coffee beans. PS - They also have two gender-neutral, single occupancy bathrooms.

This is my second time at red eye. I wanted to try something different so I went for the lavender vanilla latte with coconut milk. It's a little too sweet which hindered the coffee taste. The first time around I got a chai tea latte and I loved it!!! The service was great, very welcoming and quick. The seating is a little limited, it was completely packed when I went in. Will be back to try something different next time.

I ordered a lavender vanilla latte half sweet.. and it was basically milk with sugar. So gross. Where's the espresso???

Second or third time I've stopped here coming from Jacksonville. Caramel/vanilla latte and cafe con leche were great. Cool decor.

Beautiful place inside and out, located near other good restaurants. Drip dark roast (Colombia) was sour.

When we came in there was no table available. Server tried to prepare a table in room to the right. He failed to do that. Then we got seated in a middle of cafe. After 15 minutes we were asked to go sit at the booth table because they have a bigger party coming. We waited for a food for about an hour. In a mean time waitress kept coming to ask are we doing ok,.lol Our table was next to the bathroom and we heard waitress talking amongst themselves about what they found in one of the stalls. Then customers next to us were asked to stand up, as apparently their seat is a bench and staff is storing bleach bottles in those benches. So 2 older ladies had to get up so staff can retrieve bottle of bleach from under their seat. Food was nothing but mediocre and simple mocktail cost $14 at lunch time. Too bad that we had such a horrible experience. This place does look cute in a pictures.

Of late we have had some success getting here during their lunch hours which has reminded me of just how good they are. The menu changes some pretty regularly so there are new ideas to try over time. There also are dishes that have stood the test of time that will always be present. The rainbow trout is one of those and you will never go wrong ordering that. Always delicious. Otherwise have at the several choices that may appeal to your taste. I doubt that you won't like it. The location is a converted mini market. I am remembering that the first restaurant conversion was a classic diner that was good for breakfast but Kool Beanz has been here for a long time and thriving. Some of the best seats in the house can actually be on a stool at the counter watching the chefs ply their trade. There's an additional large dining room at the end of the building and they have created a nice outdoor space as well. What may be hard to come by when they are busy is a parking space. Service has always been friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable considering the creativity that is involved. You will pay more at dinner which is why we love to catch them at lunch.
