I purchased two burritos and added a 20% tip at the window. It's marathon Sunday I get it every r is busy but I asked for a receipt and the lady at the window refused to give me one. I even offered to just take a picture of the transaction and she refused. No need to act that way I was respectful and didn't use inappropriate tone or language. Awful customer service. read more

I absolutely love it here!! So different than any other food in the neighborhood, the people who work there are always so nice and helpful, the same is really nice they have a big bright space. Everything is so good here, I've had the sausage burrito, so good! Lots of meat and really great flavors, also have had the vegetarian burrito which was also excellent - has a lot of egg hash browns and just great green chili flavor. Today for the first time I tried the burger and wow am I impressed! I kind of avoided it because I thought it would just be a normal burger but it was excellent!! It had green chili and cheese, it's cooked perfectly and the bun is really great, it's soft but still sturdy. Truly everything I've had here is great and it's just unique to the area. Def go if you can! read more

A window stop for great food. Just trust me when I say order the sausage burrito. It's HEFTY. They are premade so it's super quick and probably one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had in my life. The potatoes were crispy, and the Chiles added a nice zing. Can't go wrong. Trust me on the burrito. read more

Great breakfast burrito. They come pre-made so it's a quick grab-and-go situation from a door window. It goes until it's sold out, but there were still a number left at Sunday 1 pm-ish. Sausage burrito ($12) - I really liked the cheese in this one. The sausage was very flavorful. The tortilla is also amazing - they're definitely homemade. The filling isn't very evenly distributed so each bite is quite different though. Honestly, just a really good simple burrito with sausage, egg, potato, cheese, and chilies. read more

I have never left a review for a restaurant but my experience at Santa Fe BK tonight was so disappointing. I came for my Birthday dinner bc I've had the BOMB breakfast burrito. The service was just horrible. Had to ask our waiter twice to put in our food order, and 3 times for the check. I couldn't focus on how good our meal was bc I felt so burdensome. Idk if it was an off night but good lord. They finally brought us the check and THEN took our almost full guacamole away! For $30 enchiladas this place could use some improvement. Maybe just a take out spot. read more

Delicious potato burritos! They sell out very fast but well worth it. I do feel like it could have more flavor. There is some salsa in it but it needs more spice in my opinion. Family owned and very great service. It's a takeout window. Seating is limited to 2 chairs outside but you can find stairs to sit on!! read more

Came here on a cold rainy day! I chose this place as I was reminiscing about my hatch chili experience in New Mexico. Though nothing can compare to that, this was a good substitute. We started with two drinks and a pozole stew. It was a lot thinner than expected and a bit less kick but the pork portion was fantastic. For entrees, we got the enchiladas and the green hatch chili cheeseburger. This was phenomenal and I wish I had an extra stomach to enjoy it all. For the enchiladas, I got the "Christmas" version, which meant using both green and red chilis. I was stuffed and had to take it to go. My partner got the cheeseburger with fries, which was pretty amazing. We both felt it could be spicier but that can just be our preference. Looking forward to coming back to try other items. read more

I had the bacon breakfast burrito, and it was delicious. Coming from LA, I feel like I've had a few great breakfast burritos, and Santa Fe BK is one I would come back for if I was in the area. read more

One of life's great cruelties is that for any one of the multitude of pleasures that together constitute our human inheritance, nothing ever quite tops the first time we experienced that particular delight. This simply seems to be the way of things. Does anything ever approach the transcendent splendor of our first kiss, our first cigarette, our first experience of the ocean, the first time we ever watched p--but, soft! come I now to my point: For several years now, I've had a persistent hankering for a burrito, which would have to rank among my all-time favorite dishes of any cuisine. Yet, eat a burrito though I may, no matter how many times, it never quite hits that spot. It's as though I'm trying to recreate whatever it was that made me fall in love with burrito in the first place. This is the burrito I've been looking for. To me, a burrito is about striking the right ratio of fillings, the right tightness, conveying the experience of meat, beans, chewiness, cheesiness, and spice without any one element dominating. The burrito at SFBK (actually on the menu, it's called "burro") was truly satisfying, from first bite to the last, and just goes to show that sometimes maybe we can, after all, find our way back to the original well and experience the old once more as the new. read more

I had the potato breakfast burrito, which was ready to go immediately. I loved the gentle heat and tang from the chillies, and the crunch of the potato. It's a manageable price and portion for $12, great for a quick meal on the go. read more

Great grab-and-go breakfast spot. The breakfast burritos are delicious- the eggs are so creamy and cheesy. I preferred the bacon over the sausage, it added a different texture. They also come with potatoes and green chilis, which add an extra layer of flavor and make the burritos HEFTY. Would recommend if you're looking to get breakfast and eat by the Marsha P. Johnson park! read more

We got the burger and the Christmas sauce chicken enchiladas. The presentation and vibe was hearty and great. The chicken was cooked to perfection. But overall we found both the dishes way too salty naaawwww :( It always makes me sad when restaurants smother the food with one ingredient- in this case the one you never want too much of - goddamn salt. The queso fries tasted like they were from a frozen bag. Disappointing experience at best, the flavors were lacked balanced due to over seasoning. The mole sauce was one of the worst I've ever had. Unfortunately, one just has to say no thanks to this flavourless fart-fest read more

They got their craft down! Great breakfast burritos that are prepared and stocked independent of the order. This results in a grab and go speed which is awesome. The wrap, fluffy eggs, tots together with the selected meat and the highlight of the burrito is their green chile which gives the great flavor. Perfect to chow down on the go. read more

I've been to Santa Fe for Dinner and loved every single thing that I ate there. And then, I stopped by this morning for a breakfast burrito....and it may be the best breakfast burrito in town! Santa Fe BK is doing their thanggg with the breakfast burritos. I popped over to their shop in Williamsburg after a workout around 11 am and couldn't wait to check this place out. Lucky for me when I arrived I was the only person in line. They have a walk up order window where you can quickly grab a premade burrito. They offer sausage, bacon and potato breakfast burritos for $11. I opted for the bacon one which has potatoes included in it. A side of hot sauce is an extra $2 so I opted out of it and crossed my fingers that the burrito would be flavorful. When I unraveled the burrito steam started to slowly trickle out ... so I knew this lil burrito baby was made recently. The burrito is smaller than what I'm used to on the west coast where you could turn one burrito into 2 meals however Santa Fe's burrito is the perfect eat in one sitting type of burrito! Not too stuffed but also satisfied. The burrito ... * perfect temperature, you can tell they're fresh * the tortilla is light and I'm guessing was also freshly made. It wasn't dense like other breakfast burritos I've had * eggs are silky smooth * bacon was the perfect texture not too crispy and not super fatty * the green chilies are the star of the show! mmhm mmhm mhhhmmmm ... not spicy but punching with flavor * the one thing I will say is I guess I wish the outside was slightly toasted or something. My burrito was kind of leaning (if that makes any sense lol) * nice cheese was added too EVERY bite was delicious and offered a little bit of everything. No hot sauce needed honestly and can't wait to come back. read more

The land of enchantment has been brought to the county of kings by Santa Fe. The interior of the restaurant is cute, and I appreciated the New Mexican aesthetic. The hand-muddled margaritas were fresh. One of the best margaritas I've ever had. The Hatch Chile Mac 'n Cheese was delicious too. Super cheesy with a nice heat to it. I appreciated that the wagon wheel pasta invoked the caravans going out west. read more

Initially came here for a dinner about a year ago and now this time around tried their breakfast burritos. It was SO delicious! I would highly recommend coming around 10 AM on a Saturday or so if you want to get burritos before they sell out. I had the one with bacon and everything from the tortilla, to the eggs, to the cheese and the bacon itself all fit perfectly together. I'll be back next time I am in the area! **Note: Burritos are only to go!** read more

Run (don't walk!) to get Santa Fe BK now to try their breakfast burritos or sit down and devour their smothered burritos and chicken enchiladas. This place serves the best new Mexican-style cuisine I've had in the northeast. My favorites are the bacon breakfast burrito and the smothered burritos. Make sure to get it "Christmas style" which combines both green and red chile sauces. Fair warning that it can get pretty spicy so beware if you are sensitive to spicy food. Service was warm and welcoming and the place had a great vibe. They also serve green chile burgers at the takeout window so I will definitely be back to try them out! read more

Finding a good breakfast burrito in NYC is a challenge - I lived in Arizona for a decade, and frankly, NOTHING has compared. I'd say Santa Fe BK is the closest though - and probably the only breakfast burrito in the city I've given 5 stars too. It's tasty with a good consistency, and the green chile adds some solid flavor. The service was super friendly - the lady from Chile and I had a conversation for a bit and she was so nice. I will DEFINITELY be coming back. read more

Really delicious restaurant, and just super friendly staff. It's a bit deceptive because if you're standing outside, it just looks like a take-out breakfast place, but there's a full dining room inside, and a beautiful, expansive backyard. When we had dinner the moon was full in the sky! I first encountered SantaFeBK by ordering their breakfast burrito, which was delicious. Their take-out was great! It came fast and was hot! I had dinner with a few friends there a few weeks later. The smothered burros were delicious. If the pork had been less on the dryer side, and more on the juicier side, it would have been a home run. My friend reported the burger was great, and it sure looked great. I liked the (very large) chips and guac, but it's along the lines of what you'd find elsewhere, as are their (very good, and somewhat spicy) margaritas. Despite the super friendly service, there was a bit of dizziness. Our friend ordered an entree with green sauce, but it came with red sauce instead (which he could not eat), and had to be completely re-cooked while the rest of us ate. We ordered a cocktail that never came, but we were charged for it anyway. Obviously, they fixed all these mistakes, and did it with a smile, but their focus could use a little improvement. All around, a winner, and will be back. read more

Finally tried the breakfast burrito! Lives up to the hype and those green chilis are definitely the star of the show! I coulda maybe used a little chili verde hot sauce to pour onto the burrito, but I Just enjoy an extra bit of heat and spice. Server was pleasant and the set up was quickly and easy. Now I just gotta get back for dinner! read more

I would say this is a near perfect breakfast burrito. The scrambled eggs were amazing and silky. My only gripe was the ratio to potato and egg. There was a lot of potato near the end of the burrito. This was quite possible one of the best breakfast burritos I have ever had. I got the potato burrito which was filled with vibrant yellow eggs, crispy flavorful potatoes, and green chiles. It was so simple and just so so good - no sauce needed to add flavor. It is good just the way it is. It was also so easy - you order up at the window and the immediately handed me my burrito. THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE!!! I grew up in New Mexico and the food at Santa Fe BK is the best New Mexican food I've had in New York. Wow wow wow wow wow. Woke up craving a breakfast burrito and am SO glad I discovered this place! I got the bacon burrito and it was everything I hoped it would be and more. The bacon was salty and crisp, the eggs fluffy and cheesy, the green chilies added great flavor, and the flour tortilla so fresh - must have been homemade (which is a game changer for any burrito). My partner got the sausage burrito and although delicious, we both agreed the bacon was better. My only complaint is that the bacon wasn't very well dispersed throughout the burrito - I got most of it in my first few bites (see photos - this was the same burrito!) But even if I came back and it wasn't evenly dispersed again, I'd give it 5 stars because it was so damn good. Mmmm! Also staff was SO friendly. Love starting my day with such a happy pleasant interaction. I'm honestly kind of grateful it isn't around the corner from my apartment because I'd be going way too often. Very delicious breakfast burritos. I had the vegetarian potato variety, which had a delectable filling of perfectly scrambled eggs, melt-in-your-mouth potatoes, and green chilies. If I had one gripe, it would be that I'd prefer a higher ratio of potatoes, given how delicious they were. It's definitely much more convenient to pack the spice into the burritos in the form of green chilies, rather than serving hot sauce on the side, to make these perfect for eating on the go. read more

The food was excellent and flavorful, but the cost was high even for a restaurant in Williamsburg. The thing that really bugged me was charging $5 for chips and salsa when most other restaurants provide them at no cost. That is like an Italian restaurant charging for bread and olive oil. The service was a bit slow although accommodating but they did handle a peanut and tree nut allergy with aplomb. The restaurant was decorated nicely but seemed quite dark. If you are going for the food, you will not be disappointed, just be prepared for when the check comes. read more

This spot has excellent breakfast burritos! They're not as giant as the ones you might find in Cali, but really satisfying and has a great mix of flavors & textures - I ordered mine with scrambled eggs, green chilis, potatoes, & bacon. I also ordered a side of their green salsa for an extra boost of flavor. Personally, I would have liked it to have a bit more of a spicy kick - but overall, it was still delicious. read more

Great food and vibe brings you straight back to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Stopped there in the morning for the best breakfast burrito cause their hatch green chilies make it next level. Also went for dinner last night and sat down enjoying their cozy vibe with delicious food. Must try their chips and queso. It has the perfect kick! Drinks are really good too! These are the side of fries that come with the delicious green Chile cheeseburger aka the Watterburger. You can also upgrade this to queso fries if you choose, or order a separate side of green Chile cheese fries. I kept them without toppings because I was delivered my green Chile cheese hit from the burger and the contrast of the choice of crinkle cut fry against the flavors in the southwestern main was an intention that I was curious to interrogate. I'm pleased to find it withstood any skepticism and desire for the obvious alternative, low hanging shoestring.
