Just got a shellac there by "Sa." Sa is a perfectionist, kept comparing each hand to the other. She made my one broken thumbnail look longer by the way she painted it. Sa doesn't speak any English, but that doesn't bother me. I'm not there to chat. I had been going to Tom at Nails R Us right by Village Pointe and he was good but this is much more convenient for me. I will continue to visit this salon. It was $35 not including tip and took just under an hour. I made an appointment but they allow walk-ins. Sandy's Nails is right next to the Hallmark store. I've been here about 5 times and have decided I won't be going back; for multiple reasons. The first being I paid 45 dollars plus tip for your every day average shellac pedi. Not even French tip. To me I think that is absurd. I've never paid that much anywhere unless it was a deluxe pedi with stones or extra perks. The second reason I won't be going back is I always feel very rushed. I was looking at the shellac colors for like 3 minutes and felt like I was given a death stare while the lady waited for me to choose. The final reason I will no longer be going here is because there are only 2 people that actually talk to you. When I go to get my nails done I'm going to feel pampered. I went recently and she said nothing more to me than your normal "wash your hands" , etc. I felt very awkward and almost like I was being a burden to them or something. read more

I went in for a fill from having gone somewhere else before and this place was closer to my house. I was waited on very quickly. The guy did my nails with great care and work. He filed one that had broken before replacing the tip. He was very friendly and talked a bit with myself and another lady next to me. I filled them on Wednesday and they are still on today and show no signs of being weak. They were done beautifully, better than the last place I went too. I have been going too Sandy before she ever opened her own store. It is a family run business. In the last 15 years I have never had a problem they treat me like family. As far as cost they are much less expensive than the big name salon's. read more

I have been going there for about 3 years. Most of the time it feels like a tomb in there. Everybody frowning. They have no patience when you are picking a color. My Tech Loi has been very rough and rude. After giving him a few extra chances... I will not be going back. I get my nails done to feel pampered. I tip decently. Why do I want to spend my hard earned money to be treated so roughly. He does a great job if you don't mind being treated poorly. Another gripe is .. there is no creativity. Loi just wants to do straight full color nails and gets quite prickly if you ask him to do anything artistic. I won't be back. read more

We've lived in Bellevue 7 years.... I've gone to maybe 7 nail salons in the area and never have I ever been more pleased!!! My daughter who's 5 & I went there and had a wonderful experience. This place is absolutely horrible. Walked in there asking for a fill with shellac polish. The lady tried to talk me out of it by saying it was going to cost me $55. I said that's fine if that's what they charge, I just wanted what I was asking for. She insisted I not get a fill with the shellac polish, but instead get the colored acrylic that wouldn't require paint. I finally gave in and let her do it. What a mistake. She had to have another lady come over and file my nails because they were a mess. Cut my cuticle TWICE. And didn't even try to clean the blood off my finger before applying the top clear coat so now I have a blood stain on my fingernail. Please just do not waste your time coming here. I will be spending the rest of my Monday night trying to remove this hack job off my fingers before I have to go to work in the morning. read more

I will never go here again first off the lady told me it would be 25 for a full set and I asked her again while she was doing them and she said 25. While she was doing my nails she kept using that buffer and was making me bleed and I told her and she said sorry but she did it again. After she was finished I noticed that my nails are big and bulky like wayyy too big for my small hands note I am 13 so imagine it. I hated them and their was still parts that were not painted so when I put my hands under the light the lady came and said its 30 I was like WHAT you told me 25 and the nails are way too big for my hands and you didn't even paint it all the way so I gave her 30 and I did not tip her because I was not happy at all. Been going here for 7 years and today was my last day. I arrived 10 minutes early for a 12:30 appointment that my friend had arranged. At 12:25 I was seated. I hadn't even place my feet in the water when the male nail tech asked for my one foot. I had thought that since I was early I would be allowed to soothe my aching feet. I come to a salon to be pampered. I asked him if I could soak my feet for a few minutes. He said to let him know when I was ready. I was hoping to just sit for at least 2 minutes, but then at my scheduled appointment (12:30), he took another customer who had walked in. In the meantime the owner started on my friend's feet. I spent 30 minutes soaking as my friend received her pedicure. I waited patiently wondering if the owner was going to do my pedicure since my nail tech went on to someone else after I asked to soak. No one ever checked in with me. When my friend was done with her pedicure at 1 p.m., the owner drained my tub and said that I would not receive services from them because I asked to soak my feet and that I kept them waiting. I was completely caught off guard. I have known these owners for 7 years and have been a loyal customer sending them several referrals. I tried to discuss where the miscommunication was because I felt that I waited patiently as the male tech went on to someone else and I did not want to be rude and tell him I am ready when he was with another customer. I explained that it was unfortunate that a 7 year relationship ended this way but that they had lost a customer. No apologies or trying to fix where the communication breakdown happened. In all honesty, this is for the best. In the seven years of being a customer, I have witnessed other customers being treated rudely. I have had French manicures and it chips the next day, I have been often rushed and the pedicures and massages hurt---it shouldn't hurt!! read more

Sandy's Nails was by far the best nail salon I have ever been to. They fixed my nails that were messed up from another salon and they look perfect. They were so friendly and even my seven year old made a comment about how much she liked everyone. Absol6utely the best!!! read more

I went to this place after reading the reviews. I was highly disappointed. I got a basic manicure with clear polish, due to my line of work. In three nails, I noticed the dust from when he shaped my nails, was still there, and he is painted the polish over. A couple nails were jagged where he didn't shape them right, so I had to fix them at home. My cuticles are still a mess. The guy was in a rush, which is why there seems to be so many mistakes. He didn't show any care. He was also too busy making fun of another customer, belittling her and embarrassing her in front of other customers. I never experienced anything like this, and will never go back nor recommend them to a friend. In fact, I was discussing my experience with a friend, and she said she also had the same rushed experience. By the time she got home, her nails were already chipping. read more

I came in for a shellac manicure. I sat in the chair to see a sign saying cash or check only. I said I needed to go get some and she told me I could get cash after I'm done at an ATM two doors down. The shellac was nicely done. It looks better than shellac at my previous nail salon. I just took a star off for only accepting cash since I had to pay an ATM fee to pay them. I wouldn't even give a star if I could. Never had I got a pedicure where she made a hang nail tugged and pulled it off. Then kept cutting on my actual toe and nail until I told her to stop. My toe is red and puffy and pissed off! I didn't have a problem when I went in. I also had 5 year olds paint my toes and nails better. Never Never again will I go here. read more
