This place takes their time and does it right. They treat you like family. I have done walk in and booked appointments and they accommodate both. BOTH women and men come here. He didn't even take his time on the spider web or to make sure the nails straight, even or fully cover with nail polish. He kept asking us if we had boyfriends and making us feel uncomfortable. I think it's a great place. The manager is a very hard worker. Like all other places, there maybe some I like more than others but overall they are good at their craft. The reason I continue to go to this place is that the staff is very nice and accommodating. They've even opened early for us on Sunday to squeeze us in. read more

Waste of time, waste of money. I got to the salon around 12 for a walk in appointment, which is less than ideal, but I had an event that night and I wanted to get my toes and nails done quickly. The pedicure was fine, but when it came to the manicure the technician used the wrong color, denied it when I brought it up, and completely rushed through the polish process. He smudged 3 different nails and instead of just taking the polish off he glommed more polish onto the nails. It was messy, streaky, and not the right color. I was so upset and embarrassed I rushed to get out of there. Things were clean enough, but definitely not the cleanest and nicest nail salon I've been. I guess you get what you paid for. I paid $20 for an okay pedicure and $12 for a manicure that I took off when I got home. read more

I have been going to Pretty Nail for two years. I get gel manicures done by Sang. He is meticulous about his trimming, filing and nail painting. He also remembers the way I like my nail shaped. I usually let him pick the color for me because he has a good eye, and my eyes blur looking at all those paint chips! He does a great pedicure too, but I'm open to anyone in the salon doing my toes. The staff is always responsive and pleasant, and they offer soda or water when you arrive. I will admit the salon could use an update, but I'm okay with the status quo because they don't try to gouge you on the prices. read more

Horrible service from the gal with the pink and blue hair. I have been going to this salon for quite a while and have never seen this gal before. She was extremely ruff while filing my nails and cutting my cuticles. I was all ready thinking of walking out. She was going as fast as she possible good while slamming the cuticle scissors and everything else down as she used them. Then the worst part was she asked me if I had put on lotion before I went in and I replied yes. She gave me a horrible look and preceded to remove the first coat of the shellac. She had filed my nails, cut my cuticles and used the brush on them and used alcohol wipes before the shellac was even applied. Not sure how there could be any lotion left on my nails. She ruined what was supposed to be a very enjoyable day with my 84 year mother. We will not be going back. I have never been treated that poorly at a nail salon read more

Paris Nails has been under new ownership since just before Covid hit. They have cleaned up and painted the salon and it is a sanitary, calm and peaceful environment. I have followed Ly, one of the owners, to 4 different salons. She is hardworking, kind, patient and does a wonderful job. I have also used other providers at Paris Nails if I am in a hurry and she isn't available. They all do great manicures and pedicures. They take walk-ins although I usually try to have an appointment. I recommend them without reservation. read more

Came twice. Once on a Saturday. The place needs to be cleaned and updated- bad. Great shellac choices, but so-so manicure. This place had 8 workers sitting in massage chairs and one person working. They told me there was a wait and I had to come back. That's RIDICULOUS. Take a Sunday and teach the staff how to do dip powder. Edit: someone from the salon thought it would be a good idea to create a fake account and message me about this. My note to you is that is not professional and there is a lot of time in a Sunday. I have gone to Pretty Nails for several years. Was always happy with the service. But twice lately, I dropped my elderly Mother off and returned to pick her up in about 10 or 15 minutes, and the manicure was done. Both times, not a good job, and I know they didn't do any massage of the hands and arm. I asked the last time, and one of the customers in there was shaking her head NO that they hadn't done anything like that for Mom. Mom has memory issues, so they took advantage. Won't be going back. I came in, not that busy and I said perfectly clear that I wanted acrylic nails. Lady was like "yeah okay. Pick out your color." So I did and it was just coloring in. She even pointed out "FULL ACRYLIC" and motioned long nails on her own fingers. She was like "you want this one? Thirteen dollar." And I said okay. In April of 2015, I went to Pretty Nails to have a shellac manicure and pedicure. I usually just get regular polish but I splurged this time because I was leaving the following day to get married in Mexico. Usually, the clear polish I get on my nails there starts flaking and bubbling off within a day, (or less), but I ignored this fact thinking that their shellac would be better. I needed it to be better because I made barefoot sandals for all 25+ of the female guests that would be attending my Mexico nuptials, and the plan was to put my boutique in the middle in the sand and then everyone put a foot in in a circular manner in order to show off each unique pair of barefoot sandals. Unfortunately, by day 2 in Mexico, 3 toenails of shellac had totally popped off. Cute....so now I could decide to either get married with scraggly feet or pay the resort $50 to get a new pedicure. Obviously, I chose the later. When I got home to the US 10 days later, I called Pretty Nails to report what occurred. I spoke to the manager, Chanel, who was totally impolite and told me that I should have come back in for a nail repair when the nail polish popped off. I explained I was in Mexico for my wedding when it occurred and that would have been impossible but this fell on deaf ears....she still thought I should have come back for the repair when it happened. Geography just must not be her thing....along with taking care of customers because no apology was ever made and no offer for free shellac the next time I came in was ever offered. Basically just a big f.u. Against my better judgment, I decided to give Pretty Nails another try this past Wednesday. I invited 2 girlfriends to go with me this time (giving Pretty Nails more business they do not deserve! Stupid!). I got shellac on my toes and paid $12 extra dollars for it so my feet would look nice for my husband's holiday party last night. Last night, I go to slip into my peep-toe heels and there again, my middle toe shellac had totally popped off. UGHHHH! Today, I went to Pretty Nails to report what happened and had to speak with the unpleasant, abrasive, customer-UNfocused contact Chanel. Great. I recapped what happened in April and her first response was not, "Wow, thanks for giving us another shot to prove ourselves" but instead, "Uhhh, and you came back to us??" Um, why yes Chanel...I made the mistake of returning to your subpar nail salon to waste my money and time again to get a defective shellac nail service. Chanel and I went back and forth and I said I wanted a $12 refund this time because it was ridiculous that I was wasting more time there now to have a nail fixed that should have never popped off in the first place. Shocker, she refused. So I had the young man who did my nails fix the one (after I waited for 15 minutes) and I left, totally unsatisfied, angry that I was a fool to return to this place, and vowing to NEVER return. There are so many nail salon options in Omaha....I strongly advise that you chose a different one when making your next nail appointment. This place USED to be my favorite place to get my nails done. Were do I start. Well I heard about this place from my sister in law. I went and kept coming back super happy. Then they started to get more popular. The pedi's didn't last as long/shorter massages ect. I let it go for a while. Then the last 3 time I went there I went with friends or at least one other person. Each time I was the LAST to sit down but the FIRST to be done with my pedi. What the heck are they getting that I am not? The last straw was a year ago exactly when I went in to get a shellac mani and pedi before going on vacation to Mexico and yes I was the first to get up again. When they put my hands in the shellac dryer/light thing my cuticals BURNED. I have had shellac before and it has never BURNED. Once I got home I figured out why. Four out of ten nails had shellac polish on the cutical skin and my right thumb had a big glob on the cutical skin. This caused the thumb polish to start peeling within 24 hours. I went back in and they fixed it. Meaning they took the polish off and started over. I WAS happy for a day. Until the day before I left i noticed three other nails that were peeling because the shellac wasnt sealed since you know they painted my skin too. So I came in they said they were to busy come back tommorow. I explained that was not possible. I was sat down they cut the part off that was peeling with cutical scissors and put a top coat on and dried then under the light and called it good. Did I mention it was a french manicure so part of the tip was cut off? I didnt have anymore time to mess with my nails I had packing to do and a flight to catch. I actually went on vacation with my sister and law and her husband. Day 2 my shellac manicure started peeling. Day 3 of our trip her shellac pedicure started peeling. Due to the peeling my nail bed is still damaged to this day. Layers of my nail chip off if i dont wear nail poish. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. read more
