The girl Nikki is really rude and rough when doing your nails, she left a sore on my finger and went home before my nails were done drying and i was gonna ask her to fix my nails bc i didn't like them at all. she also didnt even bother to wipe them off after filing them and you can see the spots through the nail polish. read more

I have been going here for a couple of months now. It is a small family business and Nikki the owner. She is very good with keeping appointments on time, which is very nice as I often go on my lunch break. Ive made appt's at other nail salons and ended up waiting up to an hour. Im kinda picky about my nails i dont like them too thick or too wide and she does them perfect every time. I discovered this place while pregnant and new to Omaha. Nikki, her mom, and Susan were so nice. I actually had my second appointment and my husband was going to tag along but then I went into labor so I sadly haven't returned. After having the baby, I feel like I'm always getting my nails done impromptu so it's hard to make an appointment. They are so nice and they will try to squeeze you in but they have a very loyal customer base so I recommend you respecting their and make an appointment. It's worth it. I'll be able to make one one of these days. The one star review below is really harsh and inappropriate to give to a small business that is open 6 days a week especially from someone who admittedly says they do a good job. If they walked in before, then they likely politely recommended making an appointment for the future. They said it to me after my first appointment and I've heard them say it to others. Best nails in Omaha. Coming from someone who HATES to make nail appointments, and prefers to walk in or call the day of, I will make an appointment here, for fear that I won't be able to get in. I will not trust anyone else to touch my nails with acrylic or my daughters with a manicure or shellac. While it may not be as new and shiny as some of the other shops in town, the nails speak for themselves. It's a small, family run business and they take pride in their work, and customers.. There is not a constant recycle of techs here, which I love. Also, they do a great job of keeping on schedule. They will not lie to you to keep you waiting around like most shops. They will not start a pedicure, and then let you sit for 45 minutes to "soak", just to trap you until they can get to you. read more

Nikki and her staff are the best!! Tip Toes has phenomenal massage chairs and all the latest colors. Both of my daughters had their wedding party manis/pedis here (great services for guys too). I found this little gem almost 7 or 8 years ago. I've been to my fair share of nail salons and once I found Tip Toes aka Nikki, I have not been anywhere else!!!!! She cares about her customers, their families and their nails! :) She is appointment only, but I wouldn't have it any other way... she is the best! My mom, sister, and I love coming to this place! We always feel so welcomed because Nikki has such an amazing memory. She can somehow remember everyone's names, birthdays, and anniversaries. Her mom and her even stayed late so I could host my bridal party to a mani/pedi before my wedding. They do an amazing job with our nails too! Although I had a good experience 3 weeks ago when my daughter and I went in without an appointment, I'm giving a single star because they obviously could not bother to let customers know they were going to just close shop on a Saturday with no warning because of a wedding. I loved this place! Went with a friend. Appointment made same day but that is not usual. The atmosphere was just okay but the pedi was awesome. The water was hot, they worked at getting off the causes and they had lots of polish colors to choose from. My friend asked for nail art and Sue did a fantastic job. I will definitely go back. Stopped in for a pedicure. You will probably need an appointment but I got lucky today. Nikki and Sue were very friendly and talkative. Staff is tenured and cares about gaining repeat customers. Made this guy feel very comfortable. Attention to detail was great on nails and callouses. Hot stone massage was a relaxing added bonus. this salon is probably the best nail spa i have ever been too. like honestly. i get great service. they take there time they don't rush. and they are always positive to you. like when they were scrubbing the bottom of my feet it tickled a lot so i was moving around a lot. and she was marking funny jokes and laughing. i feel like i am at home. it is worth my money 100%. i recommend this place so much! read more

if you are looking for a place just to stop in at then this is not the place for you. nicki is so great and takes time with each person and her people never rush thru your appointments because of someone waiting. the only catch is you need to call to make an appointment. they are great here you just need to understand she is not like the other walk in salons. She is much more caring and isnt concerned with how fast she can move you thru. that is a definate plus in my book! read more

I stopped in last Saturday to get a pedicure. There were 2 people getting pedicures and the 2 manicurists working on them. The one closest to me looked up and very rudely said " No time today"!! Not " I'm sorry, we're busy right now, would you like to sit down and wait or would you like to schedule a time to come back"? I thought I perhaps misunderstood her the first time so I stood there for a minute and said " You have no time at all today?" and again she barked at me "No time today"!!!
