From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt relaxing and welcoming. The staff was attentive, gentle, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I have never had a truly bad experience at this nail salon, but I have had better elsewhere. One time my manicure lasted more than three weeks and this most recent one only lasted a week before it started chipping. Everything feels mostly clean and everyone I've encountered there has been kind. They also have a large selection of colors. I just prefer other places that are closer to me. I would consider returning if I was hosting a bigger group, as they have room for large parties. read more

Nice nail spa. Pleasant workers. I called a half hour ahead of time to see if they could get me in, and they put me on the books. As soon as I got there, they got me in and done quickly. It was delightful that they were not televisions every couple of feet mounted to the walls. There were a couple of televisions that I saw, at least two despite the large area. So if you do wanna watch television that is available. The massage chair for the pedicure Worked well and was a good quality one, now onto my nails. I had a regular pedicure with regular polish and it was done well. Nothing spectacular, but it was done well. My manicure was also done satisfactory. I got a gel manicure and I had my nails cut short. You're one of my thumbs, however, ended up not being shiny like my other nails. I'm not sure what the step was that was skipped because I wasn't paying attention, quite honestly, but I was only in town for a couple of days so I did not get an opportunity to get back there to have them Fix the thumbnail. I think the thing that was most unpleasant about my experience was that as I was having my pedicure done, sort of behind me & to my right rear at about my 4-5 o'clock, across a very narrow aisle a man sat down at an unoccupied end position manicure station and was facing directly at me, diagonally He was just sitting there, sometimes looking at his phone, I suppose, but I could also sense that he was sometimes watching my pedicure being done. And because of the fact that he was next to me, but slightly behind me, I would have to crane my neck to look at him, but if I would've leaned over and reached out, I could've touched his legs as he was Sitting facing me that way less than 3' away. I know he could hear me when I said to my pedicurist, "Is this guy waiting for you to do a pedicure for him?" He told me the guy was waiting for 'her' and pointed to a young woman getting acrylic nails. She was seated at a different line of a row of manicure stations then he was sitting at, about 9 to 10 feet in front of him, with her back to him. It was very creepy, since I know I saw what looked to be comfortable seating in the front of the salon in the waiting room, just inside the front doors. It made the rest of my pedicure uncomfortable. That guy should've been made to wait in the front instead of being allowed to sit within breathing distance of me just so that he could watch everyone in the store which included her and me, and that was it. When I moved and went over to the manicure station, he was still there. So now he was much farther away because we went to the far end of the line of the row of manicure stations. I even asked the girl doing my manicure if there was awaiting area in front of the store, and she said that yes there was. Granted, they may have been fearful of the guy because he clearly was creeping on everybody, but if they had a clear understanding that anyone not receiving services would be required to sit in the waiting area. I think that would benefit everyone, especially innocent customers who are not used to being Watched so closely by strangers. read more

Got a pedi and mani nails, and pedi was fine but my manicure was where it went downhill. He hacked my nails off... I wish a had a picture but he was taking the nail clippers and peeling my acrylics off. So they are looking quite janky AND this is now hurting. I should've said something then but then he doesn't clean my nails up he proceeds to put the gel-x on top of my now janky nails. Which then proceeds to drip globs of the gel-x on my skin which then burned under the lamp. So now burning and sore from the hack job with the pointy nail clipper. So cut and burned. I got my $65 back but they need to make sure everyone knows how to do the job they need to do. I would've waited to get someone who was experienced, but no they needed the money and free chair and were hoping we weren't going to say anything. I left in tears and will not be back. Choose your technician wisely. Not everyone has the same skill but they will put you through no matter what. My nails before were nice and long now they are short and stubby. I came on a Friday for a gel pedicure, which felt fantastic (in the moment), so I came the following Monday for a dip manicure. I had called and ask the price of a dip manicure and they quoted me $45, but upon paying let me know it was actually $55 because they had to remove my previous dip and that my nails are long (natural nails, not acrylics). Regardless of if I agree that these fees should exist, they should be clear of these additional charges up front. Two nails of my pedicure completely peeled off within the week (not chipped, fully came off). My dip manicure started chipping just over a week after I had them done. The salon is beautiful and clean, but I will not be back due to the hidden fees + poor quality. read more

My experience with this business has been nothing but AMAZING! I called on a busy Sunday morning to see if I could come in for a full acrylic manicure set and a gel pedicure and I was greeted so politely over the phone and I was told to come on in and I could be helped. I was shocked and HAPPY with that alone! The ambiance of this nail salon is to die for and they even have a cute bar inside. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted right away by a very sweet lady who had everything all set up for me, and ready to go! I had two technicians work on me at the same time. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend M Vince Nails. It's one thing to have a bad looking nail service, it's another when you leave physically harmed. I have been getting regular polish pedicures (about 2-4 per year) from them for 3-4 years with decent results. At my last two (over a span of about 8 months) BOTH (different) techs cut my cuticle badly. The first time she didn't even seem to care I was bleeding quite a bit. It was bad enough I had a scab for about 10 days afterwards. I gave them another chance, only to be cut again. At least this tech got their bottle of antiseptic or cut liquid and attended it. In addition, she cut my nails completely off, so short it's to the quick and the front of my toes are sticking well beyond the nail, yet left the corners completely intact and SHARP! I had to file everything when I got home. I also had to remove the polish that wouldn't dry after 10+ minutes under their dryer (which barely has any air coming out of it) and partially came off in my socks. Now, I'm icing the top of one of my foot because the massage was improper and aggressive on the top side of my foot and it feels bruised. I only got the pedicure because of a vacation. Now there's not enough nail left to polish that would look decent and I have a bandage on my toe and am walking with a slight limp. I can't always clearly see how they are cutting my nails until they are done, so I didn't say anything during the service and I thought the uncomfortable feeling during the massage was due to some tension I usually carry in my feet. That's partially on me but, also, once I felt the discomfort, the damage was already done. I don't know what's happened in the past year, but service has gone downhill. Perhaps some extensive and intense re-training of their staff could help. I'm certainly never returning and may not try another salon pedicure, anywhere, again. There's a sense of grief over losing something I used to enjoy as a personal treat for myself that I will now have to grapple with. read more

There was cuticle and dead skin and they didn't clean under my nails! They also used a drill and ... I dont have gel or acrylics. I don't like writing negative reviews but I really don't want anyone to make the same mistake I did by going here. This was the worst manicure and pedicure I've ever had. No filing, the edges of all my nails were incredibly rough and/or had very pointed edges. I had to go home and refile all nails and toes. The polish was applied unevenly and very messy. Some areas has large globs and other areas were too thin. It also chipped after a couple days, as expected. This was my reminder to just continue doing my own nails at home. read more

I used to go to this salon in my old town and just moved to Omaha. I looked online, the acrylic set I want was about 50ish dollars. SHORT, square, plain white French tip nails. No previous removals or anything. The woman who started my nails was so rough with my hands hitting them and throwing them around. Didn't ask if I wanted a drink or anything, of course the one time I actually did want one! And then I went to rinse my hands, came back and there was a guy taking her spot and then he tried to round my nails which is not what I wanted. Then he didn't do the French tip the way I showed him in my picture references. Honestly definitely one of the worst nails I've had. They're chunky, uneven, they didn't clean up around the nails. Ugh. Then the fucking total was 70+ dollars. What in the frick!!!!!!! Will not be returning, that's crazy. read more

I read a comment below that I 100% agree with regarding my terrible recent experience at this salon. I booked mani/pedis for 2 people and the entire experience was unpleasant for both of us. Right when we walked in we were pulled away from picking out colors & rushed to sit down. My pedicure was very rushed and at times painful. My manicure was absolutely terrible. Instead of soaking off my old dip polish, he hacked off and peeled off pieces with nail clippers, ripping my nails. I told him it hurt and asked him to soak off my nails instead - but he ignored me and continued to use nail clippers to pry off the old polish. He also drilled the crap out of my nail beds and filed my skin. Despite requesting a mani at the same time as my pedi to speed up the process, the manicure took over an hour and a half despite my short nails and no need for tips. People came and left during the course of my appt. They don't inform you of their 3% credit card fee. 2 days after my appt a piece of my dip fell off. I would never get another manicure here. The pedicure was overall average but rushed and not enjoyable. There are so many better salons in town that are the same price or cheaper! read more

I stopped coming to this establishment after getting my first manicure. The technician who was cutting my cuticles didn't notice how thin my skin was and caused two or three places to bleed. She was very sorry and tried stopping the blood with various materials. Nothing really worked and I was bleeding for an hour. What grossed me out was how she was trying to stop the bleeding. She was using things that could not be sterilized later like top coat brushes. She kept apologizing and telling me not to tell management because she really needed this job. If management really fires someone over things like this, that is just wrong. Accidents like that happen every day in a nail salon, but I was just baffled that she kept telling me over and over that she needed this job as she frantically tried to stop the bleeding. She ended up painting over the blood, and it was still there after I removed the nail polish awhile later. She almost didn't accept the tip I was trying to give her after the experience. STAY FAR AWAY FROM M VINCE NAIL SALON!!!! It takes A LOT for me to say something if my service is bad. I will walk out of an appointment with the wrong colored hair before I speak up. Idk why, that's just how i've always been. Experiences like today have proven to me why you should SPEAK UP. I haven't had my nails done since 2019. My husband made a nail appointment for me today, knowing i've had a rough time recently and thought this would cheer me up. (god bless him) He said he saw the amount of 5 star reviews, and the photos inside looked beautiful (their website) but he didn't read any reviews, or see any photos from the reviews (he wouldn't have booked it he said if he had). I had an 11am appointment, I walked in at 1057am. They were VERY busy (Sunday before school starts, being a Sunday in general, I get it) and we're accepting walk in after walk in. Several people got to go ahead of me, even with my designated appointment. I told the nail tech (Becky) what I wanted, and she proceeded with the nails. She cut them short before even asking, and I knew they were too short, yes I should've spoken up right then and there. But again, i'm queen of miss shy so I didn't. She said she could add length when she put the powder on?? I didn't know how that would work, figured it maybe is done differently now (since I haven't had acrylic in 4 years) but low and behold, after shaping and sanding, they were even shorter. Several nails were done crooked, several were lumpy, and too far from my cuticle. They looked a week grown out. (Yes I know they can't touch the cuticle or it'll pull up) After she put the polish on and did final touches, she sanded off more paint around the edges. She never had me wash my hands until the end, and you could tell particles were under the layers of polish. When she had me wash them at the end, she was already gone before I got back to the desk. I wanted to cry, it had been 2 hours, and I was getting shaky from not eating so I said whatever i'll go home. Maybe i'm over reacting. I paid the $60 and left. After posting in some groups on Facebook, I realized my opinions were valid and the nails were BAD. They did not pick up the phone but I knew they had been very busy, so i just headed in. The older female manager up front was VERY rude to me, ridiculing me for not saying anything and having to come back and make them do it again. Shane stepped in and did the second round. He remembered me waiting a long time, and seeing me unhappy. The nails were longer this time, but a tad too long. The manager ridiculed me for wanting it a hair shorter because that's supposedly the whole reason I came back in?? (No it wasn't but she rolled her eyes and walked away from me before I could explain why I was unhappy) She then told me she'd have to charge me for the second set of nails. Shane said he would not charge me because he understood the situation. The manager spent the time over my shoulder ridiculing me, all while Shane kept a smile and was so friendly. While the nails ARE NOT MUCH BETTER, at least she was a calm, smiling face. I left without paying a dime, and there's no refund to be given. My nails and cuticles are incredibly raw, and on fire. My pinky is red and swollen, and horribly sensitive to the touch. After digging through reviews and seeing the amount of people who got infected nails from here, I'm praying I don't end up another story. It's very clear this place is ran HORRIBLY, and the manager just wants bodies in the chair. The shimmer set was #1, and hot pink is "fix" #2. I have come here faithfully since moving to Omaha over a year ago. I am going out of town very early tomorrow. This is one of the only nail salons that stay open later than 7p. So I came in at 7:00p and they refused to take me for a pedicure. Because no nail tech was willing to stay and service me. Keep in mind they are scheduled to be opened for one more hour and yet I was turned around. I am only rating this experience because other times that I have come it has been great. I love the posh atmosphere and pampering that one receives when visiting M Vince Nail Spa. However, the one thing I wish they did was tell you upfront how much your service will cost. They charge to remove the nail polish when you are getting a pedicure, which for me is fine would be fine had I knew that going in. So $40 extra later, I had to go back in 2 days lagers because my nails cracked and broke. They we're fast with fixing them, but after spending over $150, I would have liked my nails to last a little longer. Will I go back? Sure, but at least the expectation has been set. Should you go? Yes, everyone needs to experience this level of boug at least once. read more

I'm a member of Hand and Stone (love), I do frequent errands at places listed above- quick in and out. EVERY-TIME I've given this place a chance they do a half-assed job, nails uneven- hope you don't notice- roll their eyes when you do. Should mention I do Shellac mani pedi- not often. Neither EVER last longer that one week without at least one nail pulling off. I don't live a lifestyle of just going right back. They're very rude when you're there and completely over priced. Everyone was friendly when I first walked in and got seated right away. There was a few parts that were off putting. At the end of my services both a shellac manicure and shellac pedicure one of my nail techs asked if I was paying cash or card and what I was doing tip wise. I do always tip but have never asked someone specifically for a tip when the service wasn't over. I tried to tell my nail tech my hearts on my ring fingers were not done to my liking and she seemed frustrated and I was rushed out. Both my hands and toes were not fully filed and I can feel the unevenness when touching both. This was one of the worst nail experiences I have had and would it suggest going back. I paid $121 plus a $25 cash tip. I also had two different people work on my hands and trade me off. That was also uncomfortable. I would not recommend coming here unless you want an uneven over priced experience. read more
