I worked outside yesterday, but had an afternoon wedding to attend. My nails were in great need of care. I went to Cher's nail because it is near my house. I was early for my appointment which gave me time to look at the yelp reviews which his early was kind of scary. But it also gave me time to see how nice they interacted with the customers who they seem to know all by their names. "Your sister is coming at 2". A seemingly store full of repeat customers do not return unless they love it there! I saw clean floors, I saw them sanitizing the bowls. They had my favorite massage chairs. Recommended by a friend who lives in the neighborhood as I was in the area and needed my nails done. Walked in about 10:40am on a Saturday and while they had clients, took me right away. Had a LOT of options for shellac. Nothing super special (reason for 4 and not 5 stars) but absolutely nothing bad either. Everyone seemed nice and I would go back. Price was right too. $25 for a shellac manicure which is much less than what I'm used to. read more

Hands down the worst nail salon I have ever been to. The lady was very rough during the manicure and pulling skin off around my nails. She made 4 nails bleed. I picked out a shallac color for my nails and she put on this bright red color which was not even close to what I picked out. I brought it to her attention when I saw the first nail and she assured me it would change colors with more layers.... okay. I ended up telling her 3 other times that the color was not right and she still insisted it was what I had picked. I had her go get the original color sample and held it up to the nail color she was using and she just laughed. I ended up paying and leaving due to such terrible service. I came in to get my eye brows done, I waited only to see the area I was going to get my nails done at and it smelled like urine AND they didn't have coverings for their bed the client lays down in. The bed was FILTHY with stains and marks on it. I asked if they had coverings they said no, she said I could sit or lay on a towel that I saw her just pick up from another chair.... I turned around and said "nope, not doing it". Their chairs are old, the spa chairs are filthy, the floor needs to be mopped. If they are this dirty and needing up keep, imagine their cleanliness with things that NEED REGULAR CLEANING. read more

Horrible !!! As many years as I've got my nails done never have i ever immediately took them off as soon as i left the shop!!! My nail was lifting and she just put a glob of acrylic on it and didnt file them evenly its was still lifting ! I have square nails and the missing nails she "fixed" are oval!! I paid for a rebase and only got 2 nails filled worst experience ever i rather have kept my 2 missing nails then what she did. She put such a thin layer of acrylic I literally just peeled it off like a sticker. Terrible . read more

My shellac toes look good except for the giant cut on my big toe cuticle that's now super inflamed and gross two days later....... the tech working on my cuticles dug so hard and ripped off the skin, causing me to wince super bad. She put some strange blue liquid on it (maybe to stop the bleeding?) and now I've been in pain since, and it's still going to look gross and swollen while I'm in flip flops this weekend.
