Holly is an outstanding nail technician. I have been going to her for a year and am quite happy with her.

It was very busy when I walked in, I was happy to wait but the wait time was really short! They had me check in which was cool. They sat me in seat 11 which was over an AC unit, it was alright temperatured and I run cold. My nail artist was pretty quiet but the artist and client to my left were chatty and we got to talk. My nail artist had pretty shaky hands and didn't understand what I meant when I said I wanted the line on my ring finger sharper. She made it thicker, but it doesn't look bad. I took my watch off when I sat down, along with my ring, put the ring in my pocket and left my watch on the table by the towel. During the mani I lost track of it and couldn't find it at the end. I asked if they would contact me if they found it. It was from my mother and really important to me. They have my name and number but I DONT LIVE IN THIS STATE so I really hope things work out. read more

I got a really decent mani pedi, the guy that did my nails added a little length to 2 of my nails that were really short to make them even and he didn't even charge me extra for it. I got my first dipped nails and I am hooked. They are two weeks old and there are no chips and they are still shiney. The woman that did my pedicure, note me a couple of times and she made sure not overwork my toes from then on. The shop could have been a little cleaner for my taste, but it wasn't filthy. Everything was only $80, I was spending $150 for the same service at another place and I was getting shellac, which chipped and peeled after a week. I am visiting from out of town. I got a gel pedicure and a dip manicure. My nails are flawless. The vibe was very relaxed, everyone was kind and helpful. They offered me a drink - nice to have a cold Diet Coke on a hot summer day. I am so in love with my dip manicure, they look even better than when I get them done back home. The shape is perfect, the dip isn't too thick and it is so smooth and shiny. My nail technician spent a good deal of time on ingrown toe nails and making all the calluses smooth on my feet. 10/10 recommend Mai Nail Spa for your nail needs. read more

We are a bit picky when it comes to our acrylic manicures and were both happy with the quality of the manicure, shaping, and the professionalism of our nail techs. Guys. This place is awesome. I go in every three weeks for a dip mani and shellac pedi with Kim. It's phenomenal. I'm not super easy on manicures, but the dip mani goes NOWHERE. I go back because it grows out, not because it chips or cracks. Kim always makes my nails look great, and she's very sweet as well. The pedis are amazing, with hot stones, hot towels, and citrus. Kim also takes care of my 10-year-old daughter's nails, and it very patient and kind with her. Quon does my 17-year-old daughter's full set acrylics, and they always look amazing. He's the owner, and he's funny and easy to get along with, and I've seen him turn out some real works of art. Long story short, I love it here. Visited Mai Nail Spa on a Saturday afternoon. It was very busy and smaller than I was expecting but we were greeted and seated right on time which was super nice and appreciated. Tammy was my nail technician and she did a great job. Thorough and attentive to detail. Started out with her trying to give me another color but I noticed the number was different. Then say they couldn't get the one I wanted open. Then finally got something open. The one I chose was more of a pearl finish. I got slight sparkles. Was weary of the drama so just agreed to the color. In taking my polish off she got me with the drumel. I had to tell her I wanted her to do my cuticles, she wasn't going to. No cubical softer put on. Finally got the nails done but after just a bit of oil on the cuticles, was told to wash my hands and handed me the paper to check out. Not even lotion! This was a dip manicure so was not to be a low end service. Then on checkout there was an issue. Although I had gotten a notification from my credit card company that the charge went through, it didn't show on their system. Now the owner is swearing, the line is getting longer and instead of gathering the information he needed from me and letting me go, I am told to sit while he checked out the other customers and they figured it out. Unfortunately not the relaxing experience I was hoping for. I have been there a few times based on a recommendation of a friend. Although this was the worst, I have never had a 5 star experience. First of all, I hate to do this-- but secondly, I'm in the "beauty industry" as well and feel there are some things that need addressed. *I called in advance (about 4 days prior to my appointment) to prebook my service. It was to be at noon, and my service was not started until 12:40. Not a big deal-- however, it was rushed so rushed. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and I guess I wanted to somewhat pamper myself and my swollen ankles prior to the arrival of my baby. Not necessarily the case. *There are 5 LICENSES on the wall and 9 people are working. * Unsanitary tools. We are all wearing masks due to Covid 19 but they are not sanitizing stations/ thrones after services rendered. I apologize for the review, but I feel like these points may be valid for individuals going here. I, however, will not be coming back. read more

Anyway. My point is, we as humans are all fallible. We will all have a bad day or 2 or 3. They are so accommodating and have upheld both my appointments and times where I needed to walk in. I showed a picture of tortoise nails that I saw on Pinterest and ask the tech- he said it would "be so easy" and he sure made it look that way! Pleasant experiences all around. Quan is by far my favorite- and he is owner! It is refreshing to see the owner on the front lines with the rest of the staff. Typical pricing, but out standing skill and service. I had a really weird experience here for my first time. Everything was beyond overwhelming, there was too many customers per employees and all my services were rushed. The pedicure I got here was the worst ever, she ripped off my cuticles in a painful way and hardly touched me when she massaged my feet, when I asked her a little harder she just smiled at me and nothing changed. I got a better massage from the chair then my nails... I got dip powder and they made me change seats mid way through which was really weird and I could tell they were done lazily, it's been two weeks and I've already got two completely gone and another two on the way out. Fairly new place in CB, lots of positive reviews on their Facebook page so I thought I'd give it a try. I was very very happy with the service. It was slow, Thursday morning, but I was quickly greeted at door and given a chair. The tech (Kim) asked if I would like a beverage; Water, Coke, Sprite... Which doesn't happen at other places. Kim took her time and was very nice. I like my polish and pedicure overall but I really did enjoy the calf/foot massage. They used orange slices, a mint masque, hot stones, a warming oil and lotion. It came to $27, which I really expected it to be more for the great service I received. They asked if it was the first time I'd visited and thanked me for coming in. I really plan on returning the next time I need a mani or pedi! Side note: I don't know their hours but I over heard one customer say it was awesome that they were open on Sunday's. prices are astronomical. $70 for a medium length french tip acrylic set. $80 for a medium length french tip set with MINIMAL design. $44 for a pedicure french tip. $50 for a regular polish removal and regular gel color pedicure. They cut my fingers. I had to ask the lady to fix my nails like 5 times. They didn't fix my friends chipped polish. Register lady charged my card $144 on accident and then charged me again $114. Juan is amazing!!! Lady with short red bob was very sweet. Lili was quick but not the best. I recommend going to juan or julie or kim. with everyone else you're gambling them being ugly. overall OKAY experience. DEFINITELY not returning to the same ladies. read more

If I could give this store zero review I would but I can't, the auto net service here was absolutely awful I booked an appointment a week ahead of time and asked them over the phone if they could do acrylics and the lady said yes and then i asked if I showed them a picture of the nails I would like could they try and recreate it and they said they would try, I come in at my scheduled appointment time and they have me sit in the back waiting for a whole hour and while I'm waiting they start helping the people who barely just walked in. They finally get to me and I tell the lady that I wanted acrylic and I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she started laughing, grabbed my phone and started showing the picture around. She then came back with her boss I believe and they said that I should have scheduled ahead of time if I wanted acrylic, which made me extremely upset because I did schedule ahead of time and I even had to wait a whole hour just so that they can help me. I decide to just let it go and get a basic coffin nails instead and the lady with me said something incoherent and ended up making me switch spots with another customer to get a different nail tech. And this guy he just kept commenting on how long they were and that they were to long, they were literally basic coffin nails. I've been going here for years now and I have had good experiences 95% of the time. I recently went in for an acrylic fill and I would not recommend the person that did my nails. Overall, the employees are very kind and attentive to what you want. I've had people like Helen, Ella, Chloe, Quan before and they do great work. They take their time and make sure you are comfortable. The last time I was there I had Tan and he was not friendly. He rushed the whole service and only whispered to the employees around him, completely isolating the customers. He rushed so much that he cut me and just had me hold a paper towel on the wound. The work he did was good but I have noticed some bumps in the acrylic, just from the service being rushed. I understand these people are very busy but I've been there when it's completely packed and gotten better service. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to get their nails done for a good price but I warn that you have to make an appointment for anyone other than Tan. read more

I was a repeat customer coming in every 2-3 weeks for a dip manicure and had not experienced any issues. This last dip manicure was absolutely terrible. A manicure that should at least last two weeks, began chipping within a few days. I came in 5 days after my manicure to have my nails fixed since over half of them were chipped. Jenni the receptionist was incredibly rude which was not surprising since she usually is to anyone with a complaint. Quan then stepped in and acted as if he would fix all of my nails. Quan ended up being just as disrespectful. He did not fix my nails, he instead filed them down and superglued the dip to my natural nails. When expressing my disappointment with how my nails were being fixed he became very short and made sure to let me know the bad manicure was likely my fault and I just don't know how to take care of them (I have been getting dip for several years and never had an issue like this). He also let me know "his clients" have been waiting while he "quickly fixed" my nails. I did not want a quick fix, I simply wanted an apology and my nails fixed from the botched job I had received a few days ago. You think people in a service industry would have some customer service skills, but unfortunately you are easily replaced by the next customer and they do not care to fix their mistakes. I came here with really messed up acrylics from the place I went before, I got a fill and it looked like I got an entire new set. Kim is so amazing! She took her time and was very detailed with the shape, painting - everything. They offered beverages and got me in right away even though I had no appointment. The price was very good too. It was only 29$ for a reshape, shellac and design. It's very hard to find someone who can do a good coffin shape but it was absolutely perfect.
