Been going there for over 5 years. Staff is wonderful and they are truly artists! Many different pedicures to choose from too.

This is the only nail salon that I would recommend in Omaha/Papillion. It is a family owned business and they do all types of nails and have multiple pedicure chairs. The owner Will and his wife Camilla are excellent at painting designs on your nails, I always get a lot of compliments on their work. Have repeatedly needed chips fixed. Nail techs are not friendly/approachable. Despite saying I came in for a mani pedi, they just walked away from me at the pedi part, didn't offer me foam slippers. Told them I was also doing a mani and then they put their phone away to help me. Appear to speak in different language about different customers. Nail techs do not ask questions about photos you want on your nails. If you appear to be picky, they will ask you not to come back and not take ownership of their staff's lack of communication and recommendations to customers about how things will look or if the customer was liking the style firstly. I was a walk-in here a few days ago. I got a gel manicure when I was out of town a few weeks ago, and one of my nails broke. I was fully prepared to have all of my nails cut down and a fresh gel manicure. I was seated right away with Kayla (I think I'm horrible with names‍) She suggested putting a tip on the nail that broke instead of cutting them all down. As a business opening back up during COVID-19 & that is finally coming down from its peak, the salon was very clean and sterile as all of the staff disinfected everything down to the detail after every use. Everyone was very professional and respectful of the CDC guidelines wearing masks and having appointments only. John was my technician today! He did amazing with my manicure and pedicure. After many frustrating visits to other salons, a friend and I tried Venus on a whim. I got Vinn as my tech and he did a wonderful job. I have been going to Venus since October 2018--THESE ARE MY PEOPLE and I will never go to another salon. I had tried other salons before them and was treated as a nuisance when I explained the colors I wanted and rushed out of the door. At Venus they get excited to try something new and encourage you to! If you want to play it safe they aren't pushy and try to up-sell you. Their attention to detail and nail design is impeccable. I use Pinterest for ideas and they are able to nail it! (ha!) The establishment is clean, well taken care of. Staff are friendly. Price is on par compared to other salons. They are flexible and understanding when you are running a few minutes late, which sometimes happens to me with my crazy work schedule. DONT GO TO VENUS NAIL STUDIO, SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND MONEY BY GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Came in for a shellac pedicure with rhinestones (these cost me extra) on Saturday. The same day not even two hours later all the rhinestones had fallen off. When back in the same day to get it fixed the same female attempted to fix it. I explained to her that perhaps she shouldn't used the same crazy glue because it didn't work the first time. I asked the owner if they had other glue since that crazy glue she had put the first time didn't work. He said she put the wrong glue and since they were closing that was all that they would put for now. But if it come off again I could come in the following Monday or Tuesday and get the whole pedicure redone. Comes the day after (Sunday) and all rhinestones (except for one) had fallen off again. I couldn't come in Monday due to personal conflicts. However made it a priority to come in Tuesday. I show up the owner tell me, he will fix the rhinestones (not honoring what he had said he would do, a new pedicure). Not only that I had to wait over an hour before they started to fix my pedicure. Keep in mind the owner made the same person fix it. Just wrong in so many ways!!! They not only made me go back twice but didn't show one care that I had to keep coming back for them to fix it. DONT GO TO VENUS NAIL STUDIO, SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND MONEY BY GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! I wrote this review Tuesday right after I left. I will say she did put gel glue this time for the rhinestones. Hopefully it this time they stay on, but if they don't I will be going to another place. Very friendly staff! Great service! Moderately priced. Four of us went in for manicures and pedicures and we all enjoyed ourselves. We were offered something to drink and were seated in very comfortable massage chairs. I loved these chairs as they are more gentle than other places I've been to. I believe there were 4 different pedicure options to choose from ranging from $25 to $55. We did the $45 option and chose are scents for the scrub and lotions (I think that's what it was for). Our pedicures all looked amazing. Two of us moved onto manicures. I did the "dip" manicure with a festive design. Love it and over a week later it is still looking like new! My friend did a shellac manicure and was very pleased with her results. We booked our next appointment two weeks out to assure we will have someone available. A friend told me to check this place out and said that their prices weren't crazy expensive. I scheduled an appointment to get a set of acrylics - and they said they could get me in the same day. i showed up, told them what i wanted, and sat down to get them done. i told them i wanted a coffin shape and that i wanted them long. the nail tech was rushing my nails the whole time- and i ended up with short, square shaped nails. literally the opposite of what i asked. and on top of that the tip of the nails curve in to form a wide U-shape. they proceeded to tell me that my nails would be 80$. i looked at them- obviously displeased and they said they would lower the price to 70$. but when i checked out, he wanted 75$. needless to say i won't ever be going back read more
