I walked in at 5:50 and asked if they were open until 7.. she said yes.. there was not a single person in the shop.. only me.. the lady that did my pedi was very rough.. and it felt so rushed! I'm sitting here with my nails drying already.. the entire process was maybe 15 minutes.. Part of why I get a pedi is for the pampering and relaxation.. this unfortunately did not offer either one of those objectives. Pros: JUSTIN. dude is awesome, nice, kind, quiet if you're not a talkative person you'll like this. i appreciated it. i haven't gotten my nails done in idk how long... i was tired of people doing me dirty everytime i got my nails done, justin actually took his time and did a really good job, and was very perceptive and precise with how he did nails. i showed him a picture one time of what i wanted and he achieved it in less than an hour and a half. im going there again if i ever need my nails done again. read more

I posted this yesterday on google so this includes my reply to the owners response to my google review. --------------- I brought my daughter to this establishment to treat her and get pampered the day her baby shower. I wanted her to feel her prettiest! They charged $115 for the the French tip nails with the 2 bows. This did not include anything extra like soaking the nails or any lotions, hot towel or massage! $67 basic pedicure & gel toes. The nails on her hands were done beautifully and the guy that did them was nice but one of the bows fell off 2 days later. The gel one the toes where done sloppy & messy. When I mention this the the women running the place she said that the nail "technician" did the best she could and when I requested they redo them she said only if I'm willing to pay again thw service! If I can do a cleaner job than a professional then they should not be doing nails. And I would have if I'd known they do not have good nail technicians. Most lower star reviews have a negative response from the owner and I do not expect any different from my review. Constructive criticism or ethics aren't in this woman's criteria. Oh and she said she wouldn't charge me the cc fee after all that lol like it helped make a difference. Reply to the owner: Because I paid for your services and over priced at that. I love that you reply so unprofessionally! lol this is great because everyone will know how you are. Update: It's been 3.5 days and the second now fell off. Great job! I've been going to Top Nails since 2016 when I first moved to Omaha and have become a loyal customer. Moving from San Diego, CA, I found it difficult to find a good nail place in Omaha where cost and quality were not an issue. Having gone to SEVERAL nail salons in the area and having a horrible experience(I got a burn on my calf from a "hot stone"), I decided to give Top Nails a try! I stopped by for a shellac manicure and I was very happy with the quality and experience. I am VERY picky with my nails. I did not see any bubbles, bumps, and my shellac lasted 3 weeks! Compared to other salons in the area. I found Top Nails to be decently priced. A lot of the salons I had previously gone to were charging roughly about $40 for shellac mani and the quality was subpar. Since shellac, I've since gotten acrylics and have had no problems with any nails breaking. I also like to do some fun styles and designs and I've been super impressed that any rhinestones I've gotten on my nails have NEVER fallen/broken. Had a mani- pedi here for the first time and Jeanne was terrific! She was careful, attentive and efficient. Did a great job on my raggedy toes and shaped and painted my fingernails perfectly. This is a difficult review for me to write. I used to come here every other week when I lived in Omaha, and I absolutely loved it. It's a family business, the brothers speak English most comfortably and engage often with the clients. I visited Omaha a couple of weeks ago. I thought getting my nails done at my favorite spot would be nice, so I called earlier that afternoon and made an appointment for two mani/pedis at 3:45p.m. that same day (Friday). My friend and I got there, made our color selections, and stopped in the bathroom before our services. The bathroom was out of paper towels which I didn't notice when I went in. Two ladies started giving us our pedicures. I was really surprised by the changes that had happened to the salon as I looked around. There's now a bar area built in, and there were some hand written signs indicating one free drink with services, and $5 each after the first. My friend asked about it, and she was told if she had selected a higher level of service, she'd get a drink for free. Once our pedis were done, we got our manis. The lady doing my nails rushed through and was done about 15-20 minutes before my friend was done (she loved her nails). I was displeased with my mani, but the lady had jumped up and ran off to give someone else a pedi. I sat there and used a tool to scrape excess nail polish from my cuticles. When I went to pay, I shared this was my first time complaining for a service there, and I was really disappointed in the quality of my nails. He offered to have me wait so he could get to them and fix them, but I was out of time that day. He then offered to have me come in the next morning first thing to have them fixed. I agreed at the time to come in at 9:30 the following morning. I tipped the lady $15 for her time and services (way more than I should have). Then he leaned over and said the issue was twofold: the type of nail polish (pastel pink) was difficult to put on, and secondly, he overheard her telling her coworker that I kept moving my hands around during the mani. His crappy response made up my mind. If I had been moving during the mani, why didn't she say anything, or ask him to say something to me? As I walked out, I decided I wasn't going back - I had already spent time there, and I would never be back. Do not recommend. read more

Great service! I walked in without an appointment and they had customers but were able to seat me right away for a manicure and pedicure. Seems like customers are very familiar with the family working/owning the place. The mother did my pedicure and she did one nail for me and checked with me on the color which I found wonderful because the color I chose was way too dark and she let me switch it out. The younger son did my French manicure and it looks really good! (I've had bad French manicures before so I was a bit worried) The family is very friendly. If i could give them no stars I would, I'm so disappointed. I usually always love my nails when I get them done here but today was the worst experience of my life. I showed a specific picture for the coffin shape and the length and what they did was nothing like what I showed them. I told the guy doing my nails that this isn't what I asked for and that I wanted them longer. He told me he couldn't do anything about it and started making a scene in the whole place to where everyone could hear. I told him that I would just pay for my toes and that's it since I wasn't going to pay for nails that weren't finished and I didn't like and he was just freaking out and told me to pay and get out. I came to Top Nails for a mani pedi. The people were super friendly and the place was clean and orderly. I was happy while I was there and my nails looked great for about 5 hours. I made an appointment through yelp to get a shellac manicure. I showed up and they fit me in right away. All seemed great. The young lady they put me with was very gentle, which I appreciated since I had hurt a finger over the weekend. She did a great job of getting all of the polish off my nails and making a smooth work surface. My manicure ended up pretty good, the hand and arm massage left a lot to be desired, it wasn't bad per say just short. All in all not a terrible experience, it is in an inconvenient location for me, but that's my issue not theirs!! Seemed like a lot of regulars in there so they must love it. It was weird to see people come in and start service with one tech but then get moved to someone else to finish it. I did like that the uv lights are installed in the desk, so you just put your hand in the little hole for curing, more convenient than moving a uv light around and having to work over it. After being referred by a friend I decided give this place a try today. I was the 1st customer of the day. I came in for a pedicure. There was one older lady working, who may have been an owner, while an older man sat in a message chair on his cell phone. I assumed I would have got hot rocks, oil, a calf message or at least a warm towel like other places. This was the most pathetic pedicure I have ever had. I was to the point where at almost walked out when I saw the lady grab the lotion "St Ives" and rubbed it on my legs. She grabbed a towel and wiped my leg off with something that felt like a bar towel, stiff and rough as a board. She painted my toes and I was on my way. That atleast turned out decent as of now. Will not be returning. I went for a dip manicure and when they were shaping my nails he was filing my skin not my nail and then cut my skin with the nail file. He then continued to not file properly and also cut me with the metal tool they use to rough up the nails. I got an infection from the cut after they put it in the dip powder. Plus one of the other nail technicians who wasn't the one working on my nails kept saying that the colors I chose were ugly which is so unprofessional. read more

It is a friendly, knowledgable environment and they make it easy to either chat with other customers or just be in your own little world. I don't feel like an outsider when I go in!
