Updated: I've been coming here for about two years now, and I've definitely seen this salon…read moreimprove. They recently remodeled, and it looks fantastic! The salon was always organized, but replacing the worn stations, refreshing the walls, and opening up the layout made the whole space feel brighter, cleaner, and more modern. Booking appointments online is also incredibly easy--it only takes a few seconds. Over the years I've had several technicians, and I especially want to recognize Josephine, Damon, and Hanna. They consistently provide quality work, are efficient, and make every appointment a pleasant experience. The front desk has also traditionally been friendly and quick to get clients checked in and out. I did have one disappointing experience during a recent pedicure. I requested the cat-eye gel effect, and the technician initially told me my toenails were too small. I explained that I was mainly after the sparkle, so we moved forward. Unfortunately, she didn't seem familiar with how to create the cat-eye effect I had selected. Since it was a $15 upgrade on top of the $16 shellac charge, it ended up being $31 that didn't produce the result I paid for. In the future, I'll be sure to ask beforehand if a technician is comfortable with the design I want. The only other thing that stood out during my latest visit was the new receptionist. My previous experiences at the front desk have always been warm and welcoming, but this visit felt a little different--there wasn't much of a greeting or smile, and after I signed myself in she still asked if I had an appointment. It wasn't a big deal, just a noticeable change from what I'm used to. Overall, this is still my go-to salon. The remodel looks great, online booking is convenient, and I've had far more positive experiences than negative ones. I'll definitely continue coming back.

Booking is super easy and can be done online. I usually see Cherry, but I also have had great manicures from others when I walk in. They have a TON of colors to choose from as well as different offerings based on what's new and trendy in nail design. I always do a simple dip manicure and it usually lasts 4+ weeks. They recently renovated and it flows way better than it did before. They have new massage chairs for pedicures and the manicure chairs are also comfy. They have a large TV on each wall so it's easy to see no matter where you're sitting. While it's not the fanciest salon I've been to, the place feels clean and updated. Their prices have been sneaking up a bit, however because of the service and consistency, I'll continue to go here!

I went in for a dip manicure and they had 3 giant books with lots of choices! The nail tech was nice enough to help me pick between a few colors since I could not decide! Sadly the dip was not picking up and my nails ended up looking super grainy. She was nice enough to offer a coat of shellac to cover up the odd coloring, but it was extremely painful. I'm really sad this was my first experience because I've heard great things and I hope this was just a one time occurrence! After waiting a few minutes, the lady called me over to start my nails. As soon as she started removing my nail color about three more customers entered; this was clearly overwhelming the technician. She stopped doing my nails at least a dozen times to try to call other technicians to come to work. She eventually removed all my nail polish, but in the middle of filing them, she had the audacity to tell me that she simply couldn't finish my nails at that time, because she had to attend to the people who just walked in. I asked if they had appointments, she said yes after a long pause. I wonder if that was true. She told me she will understand if I don't want to come back. How lovely she's so understanding....because it will be a cold day in you know where, before I set foot in that f***ing place!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really hate having to update this review, I really do…read more This place is under a new owner, Mindy, who is seemingly overwhelmed and not organized. Let me try to arrange my thoughts in a fluid manner: The first time she did my nails, she did a wonderful job. The second time she did my nails, she did an okay job. The third time I went in, a guy did my nails, he was extremely slow and nervous. During this time, Mindy's appointment showed up and Mindy was gone to take her boys bowling. The nail tech had to call her, at which point her appointment sat there for over 25 minutes. When Mindy finally got to the shop, she laughed and said that she forgot. When he shellac'd my nails, the machine kept shorting out and I told him that, but he completely ignored me. The fourth time, the same guy did my nails and again, he seemed nervous, to the point I finally asked him how long he has been doing nails, to which he told me, "oh, I don't know. I've been doing them so long I lost track." Serious? HUGE flag went up for me. He then shellac'd my nails. Second day in to having shellac on my nails already the shellac has chipped. I go into get it fixed. Fourth day in to having shellac on my nails and gain, peeling. This time a different nail. Seven days into my nail fill and two nails have broken off and one shellac'd nail is peeled. I purchased nail removing acetone and have since removed all of the nails. What a waste of time and money. I should not have to go back over and over for nails that were not done correctly. This place will be defunct soon, unfortunately. Any suggestions for a new nail salon?
