Clove and Cedar is an absolute gem!!! I stopped in after shopping at the Bethany farmers market…read morewith 4 elementary school boys (not my kids) who, unbeknownst to me, knew exactly how to order at a coffee shop. They ordered strawberry shortcake matchas and iced vanilla milks and specified for the woman taking their orders exactly how many vanilla pumps they wanted and what type of milk alternatives to request. The barrista took their orders like they were adults (while eying me to make sure this was all ok). We also got 2 pastries to split. We got some kind of coffee cake and a chocolate chip muffin. I didn't get to try either as the boys wolfed them down and left a mess of crumbs bc they aren't actually as bougie as their orders. (sorry about the crumbs if you are reading this, Clove and Cedar). The little boys said it was the best matcha they ever had - and apparently they are experts. hahahaha. I am in Lower DE every week and had completely given up trying to find a decent matcha here bc every place I've tried just sucked. When I saw the color of the dark green matcha at Clove and Cedar, I knew immediately it was going to taste great. I got the Ube Vanilla Matcha and it was perfecto!!! Honestly, I can't even explain how excited I am that I found this great place. I wish it was closer to Dewey or Rehoboth as there is nothing up here like it. I def will make the drive again to Bethany soon!!!

I was really hoping to enjoy my visit to Clove & Cedar Coffeebar, but it was disappointing overall…read more The staff came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming, which made for an uncomfortable experience from the start. The coffee itself was just average at best, especially considering the high prices. I don't mind paying more for a great cup of coffee, but this didn't live up to the cost. Unfortunately, the ambiance was lacking as well. It didn't feel warm, inviting, or like a place you'd want to linger. Overall, there just wasn't much that would make me want to return.

They also have a wide selection of coffee options that is sure to impress even the snobbiest of coffee drinkers. Homemade Baked Goods with Limitless Options and Endless Flavor!!…read more Beach Break Bakrie is a local legend of Bethany Beach!! With a line of patrons ready to order and a patio full of happy customers enjoying their plunder! With tons of fresh baked goods every morning and cafe options for made-to-order sandwiches, the Bakrie is THE breakfast spot at Bethany Beach. We love their muffins... and don't be fooled by the display case... lining the side counter is the premier item that you'll need to wake up early and secure before it sells out... the Apple Crisp Muffin. With a brown sugar and butter topping that flakes and crisps with every bite and large slices of apple perfectly baked down inside the batter! We have tried other muffins and loved them all. This time I ordered a Blueberry Muffin and Cranberry/Orange Muffin. Wake up early. Walk down. Enjoy some tasty baked goods before your beach day!

Quick Take/ More than just your typical smoothie place, as in bougie ingredients (cocoa nibs,…read morespirilla, charcoal), kids are a little 50/50, but adults really enjoy it. _______________________________ Menu: Typical smoothie place menu with a plethora of coffee, smoothie, pasties, etc. As I mentioned, when we have the kids with us, some of them don't want anything to do with the fancy ingredients. The most basic is a strawberry/banana deal. We haven't dabbled in much of the food, although we've had a few of the bowls and love them. Service: A quick ordering process. It's not a big interior, but they have a speaker system that you can hear outside. Other: It can be a bit of a wait (not because service, but volume), so I highly recommend an app order on your way and picking up when you get there.

It's a little icecream shop and they also have a cafe / coffee shop next store (I stopped in there as well but that's a separate review . This was tucked back a bit from the main like strip. It was pretty tiny inside and there was maybe 3 girls working. One case is all fudge and the other all icecream. They had a large variety of fudge and they had buy 2 lbs, $16 each, get the third free. I ended up getting 6 flavors it was easiest to do 1/2 pound bricks. I picked up pistachio walnut I for my fiancés grandmom, I got heath bar, chocolate and vanilla swirl, salted caramel, cookies and creme and it was either plain chocolate chip or chocolate chip cheesecake I'm not sure but it was the very best flavor of all of them! They had so many good ones and I tend to like more vanilla flavors so most of these were a combo of both. Everything was so fresh- I still had a few tiny pieces a week later stashed in the fridge and it's still so good! Definitely one of the better fudge places I've been to and way better than Jersey or the Carolinas. Definitely worth a stop!

Tim and Trent (two wonderful ginger bartenders!) and a talented kitchen gave us a lovely experience. Happy Hour offerings were excellent. We splurged on the AMAZING Parker House Rolls. Yes, $9 for rolls. No notes. Ok, notes....delicious & worth it. Dad said the Station Single Slider wasn't a skinny frozen patty but very good. He also liked the shoestring fries and worth the $3 upcharge. A couple weeks ago he enjoyed the Crabcake Sandwich - decent size & very little filler. Mom loves the Crab Rangoons. We also tried the Pimento Cheese Fritters with Hot Pepper Jelly. Yummy. I only wish they had at least one kind of healthy option on the HH menu like a grilled tender ...but hey, they have salads! We go early, because we're older. Don't judge. BUT...unlike other venues, the restaurant is spacious and the sound quality & acoustics are...chef's kiss! Even when the place is full, you can still have a conversation. Ambiance is top tier! The blue & white decor is lovely and with touches of brass it's beachy without being kitschy. The bar stools are comfy, padded, and LUSH. AND they now serve a full bar! (Call back to those who remember Warren's Station when they didn't) According to my Mom, the Pinot Gris is GREAT and they give a decently good pour at a great HH price! What's not to like? It's definitely worth the trip! Look for the big BLUE Roof! Check it out!
