Had a party of 8 for dinner, and were headed to Freeman Stage for a show. Ourserver, Kelsey, was on her game, and we had drinks, appetizers and dinner expeditiously served. Food was fantastic, and the plating was pleasing. The pimento cheese fritters were excellent, as was the tuna appetizer. My corn risotto with scallops was sumptuous. Prepare to be impressed. Mom & Dad and I have enjoyed two great Happy Hours here lately and had a marvelous time! Tim and Trent (two wonderful ginger bartenders!) and a talented kitchen gave us a lovely experience. Happy Hour offerings were excellent. We splurged on the AMAZING Parker House Rolls. Yes, $9 for rolls. No notes. Ok, notes....delicious & worth it. Dad said the Station Single Slider wasn't a skinny frozen patty but very good. He also liked the shoestring fries and worth the $3 upcharge. A couple weeks ago he enjoyed the Crabcake Sandwich - decent size & very little filler. Mom loves the Crab Rangoons. We also tried the Pimento Cheese Fritters with Hot Pepper Jelly. Yummy. I only wish they had at least one kind of healthy option on the HH menu like a grilled tender ...but hey, they have salads! We go early, because we're older. Don't judge. BUT...unlike other venues, the restaurant is spacious and the sound quality & acoustics are...chef's kiss! Even when the place is full, you can still have a conversation. Ambiance is top tier! The blue & white decor is lovely and with touches of brass it's beachy without being kitschy. The bar stools are comfy, padded, and LUSH. AND they now serve a full bar! (Call back to those who remember Warren's Station when they didn't) According to my Mom, the Pinot Gris is GREAT and they give a decently good pour at a great HH price! What's not to like? My friend and I had dinner here on a Thursday night. Most places were packed some places we couldn't even find parking. We didn't have to wait too long to be seated. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. The servers were all friendly and helpful. We had the Warren Station Turkey dinner and Delmarva Rotisserie Chicken. Since this was my first time we had to have the Parker House rolls. Everything was delicious. Our server was a young man and he recommended the rolls and he right, it was hot, soft and delicious. We went to The Station on a recommendation from a friend. I was very excited with the menu. I'm gluten free and almost all of the entrees were gluten friendly, and if you needed it to be totally safe (celiac), they were able to take care of it. The food was good. Crab cakes were sautéed (I prefer them broiled), but they were tasty. The French fries were a bit wimpy, but good. My husband liked his shrimp pasta. The shrimp were large and it was good, he says. Desserts looked delicious going past us. They didn't look gluten free at all, so I didn't get anything and also, I was very full. Ambiance was nice. Indoor and Outdoor seating. They can also seat large parties. The bar is very big, too. Our waitress Kelsey was very knowledgeable and so friendly. Service was perfect! Went here based on Yelp reviews (naturally) and was not disappointed. Dining room isn't huge but well planned out. Must be sort of servers, because there were some empty tables, but still a 30 minute wait. Had the crab dip for starters and was very good. Ordered the Scallops with corn risotto and my wife ordered the traditional turkey dinner! Hers came with mashed potatoes, gravy and stuffing - all the fixings and was exactly what she wanted! My scallops were perfectly cooked and delicious. Was a great meal and I'm sure we'll be back before we head back to Georgia! Go USA! read more

The place was super close to where we stayed so walking to and from was a bonus. We walked in at prime dinner time, gave our name and were seat in 20 minutes on a Friday in the summer! We chose to sit outside and it turned out a win. Weather was gorgeous and we had the entire patio to ourselves. Much quieter than inside. Menu was reasonably priced and varied offerings. You can order seafood chicken, or even roasted turkey entree. Being at the beach we were all in for seafood. Had the crab dip with fried saltines as an appetizer. Different approach than bread or crostini. Very unique flavor profile but not one of my favorites. Ordered the fish of the day which was halibut with asparagus and fingerling potatoes. This was delicious and cooked right. Also ordered the fried shrimp platter which was good and the tartar sauce was thick and tasty. Cocktail service was a little slow but once we received the drinks, we devoured a pineapple dream and not your momma's painkiller which were excellent. Definitely worth the visit again or for those heading past to OC. Maybe for breakfast which sounded good. read more

My parents always came here when it was Warren's station, but me and my husband didn't really want to come because it didn't seem like a type of place we would like. When my dad told me they got a new menu and have a bar now I said I would give it a try. The cocktails are very good. I had an espresso martini and a gin drink. I got the shrimp and grits . The shrimp were a little overcooked and dry. The grits were decent but I could have used more . I was kinda still hungry afterwards and was eating some of my husband's dinner too. He got their famous turkey dinner. It must have changed from the one they used to have. My parents said it used to be so big you can't eat it all., but this wasn't as big. The turkey was somewhat disappointing. I was expecting actual turkey with white and dark meat. This reminded me of the turkey we get at the retirement home I work at which is all white meat and super processed. If we go back with the parents I might just get drinks and an appetizer or sandwich. read more

Ok ... so wow! We were greeted by a truly great hostess. We hadn't been in since before the Warren folks sold. They have table shareables like cinnamon rolls and sticky buns. At the server Kenzie's recommendation, we had the cinnamon rolls. It's definitely enough for 4 people. The cream cheese icing was amazing. I had a turkey club with fries. It was just amazing and I couldn't finish it. The turkey was real meat. The place changed owners back in the spring and the place has a nice fresh experience and they added a bar. The hostess recommended happy hour and said it was a nice crowd. If you haven't you should give this place a try. I forgot to mention that the place has a really nice room that is available for parties and private events. read more

Visited the Pantry for coffee and breakfast. Ordered the Nutella Latte, tasted like milk with the slightest hint of burnt coffee. Also got the smash burrito, it was okay nothing special. I expected the coffee to be amazing because of how busy the place was. I was very dissapointed that my drink didn't have much a taste to it other than milk. The Station is beautifully decked out in a costal cottage vibe! It's an open concept. You're greeted by a cheerful host. What a way to start your dining experience! We had a lovely waitress who gave us tons of suggestions! My friend got a latte and I got a chai latte. We split the gigantic cinnamon roll and breakfast burrito. We definitely took more than half of the cinnamon roll home... but it was gone by 9pm lol It could probably feed 6 people. All our dishes were tasty . The breakfast burrito didn't feel too heavy. It comes with a salsa, but tasted more like roasted peppers to me and sour cream. Of course, I added hot sauce! I really need to start carrying it in my bag again. The cinnamon roll wasn't too sweet either which my friend and I liked. It came in a cute pan. Would definitely come back and try out happy hour or dinner :) read more

I've been coming to this place for years it's always been very family-friendly, and the staff are consistently warm and welcoming. I really can't say enough good things about it. It used to be called Warren Station, and I recently went back last summer after it reopened as The Station. I'm happy to say it's just as great as I remember. My go-to dishes are the crab cakes or the fried flounder, though sometimes I switch it up and get their famous turkey dinner. On a busy Saturday night my wife and I decided to look for a locally recommended casual dining spot. Of course, we headed to the Station. Although I would characterize the experience as satisfactory, we would not be in a rush to return. The highly recommended rolls appetizer, according to our server, "was sold out for the night." 20 minutes later they were being served to the table next to us. The highly rated turkey dinner was tasty and moist, but barely warm. The grilled salmon, likewise, was tasty and moist, although after a few bites I noticed the salmon neither appeared nor tasted blackened as I had ordered. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she somewhat dismissively noted "oh the kitchen is busy and they may have made a mistake." Fortunately, the meal ended with a heavenly chocolate peanut butter pie, as we departed with an almost "ok" feeling. read more

Love the Station as a favorite breakfast at the beach, also frequent the attached 'Pantry', favoring the appeal of a small coffee shop service and product you can't get at a Starbucks. For the foot traffic they get and the way they market their coffee, they are overwhelmed and understaffed in the small space. Have seen the owner selflessly step in to man the register but unfortunately, she was pretty cold this time. Leaders should be the most composed, not rattled, especially when trying to grow business and retain loyal customers. From a coffee standpoint, a generic self-serve bar with milk cartons and sugar packets completes a pretty bland coffee shop experience, but hopefully they can mirror other elite coffee shops out there with better offerings, add-on's, options and hospitality to match the traffic they seem to be getting. read more

First time dining since it changed ownership. The inside is absolutely beautiful and the service was very attentive. I got the turkey dinner, it was excellent. My husband got the chicken chesapeake. It was just ok. On the dry side, the crab topping was good but also a little dry. We also got the pimento fritters as an app, which were ok. We thought the pimento was going to be inside, but it was lightly topped with it. Unfortunately, the seafood combination wasn't carried over from the old owner's menu...which was shrimp, scallops, flounder and a crab cake for less than the chicken chesapeake today. It was the best! The old crab cake was different and a nice change from the standard crab cakes you find. Though some items did carry over, just not this combo. I would give it another try but overall wasn't as good as before. read more

3.5 stars. Very busy at 6 o'clock on a Monday evening. For a table of three we waited less than 20 minutes. There were a few seats at the nice-looking bar, but we opted for a table. The restaurant is extremely noisy. Lots of families with small children, which was nice to see, but that just added to the din. Service was fast and friendly. We ordered a pasta dish with crab, shrimp and Old Bay (The crab was MIA ... we could see it dusted with Old Bay but couldn't taste it), a fried chicken sandwich which came with a side of lukewarm fries, and a BLT quinoa salad bowl with a shrimp skewer for an added protein. First of all, almost everything (including the fries) seemed to be devoid of salt. I'm wondering if that's a conscious kitchen decision. My shrimp skewer was on the border of being too salty, but everything else needed it desperately. Portions were okay. We left satisfied but it's unusual for us to have no leftovers. (For comparison's sake, the salad I had at Liquid Assets fed me for two more days.) Where the restaurant redeemed itself was the desserts: we shared a slice of lemon meringue and a slice of peanut butter pie. Very generous sizes & very good. No notes. We might return at some point to try their breakfast. Not sure about another dinner - maybe in the off season. read more

Absolutely exceptional. From start to finish, our summer time meal here was fantastic. Our server, Megan, was kind and helpful and had a huge smile on her face throughout our visit. The hostess and staff who helped seat guests were friendly and accommodating when we brought a stroller with us. The meal we had was fantastic. The best crab cake I have ever had, to be frank. Huge chunks of fresh crab with very little breading. We also ordered cocktails and really enjoyed the design concept for the drink menu -- it made you want to try more than one! For dessert, the restaurant offered a slew of fresh pies -- peach, key lime, peanut butter, chocolate cream... it was so hard to decide which one to try. Ultimately we chose the peanut butter, and the peach clearly made the right choice. It wasn't too sweet and packed with peanut butter cups! Delish. The vibe in here was open, airy and welcoming. Now wonder it is so damn loud in here-no one is eating! The Renovation is fine but it is really really loud in here. We waited 25 mins for a table and then another 30-40 mins for our food to come out. Seafood combo was okay but only 3 quarter size scallops and about a 3 oz crabcake. The scallops were fresh and tasty but just not enough! Chose mashed potatoes with gravy and asparagus as sides. Asparagus came out and was way too overcooked. No gravy for potatoes! Steak Frites -forget about it. Meat not cooked as ordered and plate full of room temp fries. Imagine reheated McD's fries. Demi glaze that came with steak was not very flavorful and was also offered in place of A1 steak sauce. Steak was not sliced and was a tough cut for the price. All dishes looked as if the food was just slapped on the plate. Just wanted to leave wax there far too long to wait to complain. Wanted this place to be good really did but they need to rethink. Maybe it was an off night but I was really disappointed. I could see why many surrounding tables left thier food untouched. Sad! Probably will not return in future. 2 stars because the scallops were good as was the service. read more

We were told try out The Station before leaving OCMD. It did not disappoint. The hosts were friendly and the decor is perfect for a beach town. I love the bar being the focal point when you walk in. The sweet potatoe pancakes were delicious - no need for syrup. My husband is very picky with his grits and he was impressed (it was creamy). Why this place is crowded all the time is beyond me. I felt this way with the previous owners and the same now. Figured new owner, always crowded, let's give it a try. Still not good. Long wait for food. Food came out room temperature. Small portion for the price and not made as ordered. I got the steak frites. I've always know steak frites to be sliced. This was just a piece of meat on fries. The fries tasted like they were fried multiple times. The steak was supposed to be well down and was red. Very tough and salty. The semi glaze was like a gravy and not tasty at all. My mother got the flounder with asparagus and grits. Everything looked as if it was just thrown on the plate. The grits looked like mash potatoes and tasted horrible. The asparagus was rotten. A huge pass here! I have better meals at chain restaurants at a much lower price too. Major disappointment. We had breakfast at The Station yesterday. It was a wonderful meal. We had 6 adults and 8 children ranging in age from 6 months to 13yrs old. The host and hostess were so welcoming and gracious. They worked out a perfect seating arrangement and made sure we were happy with the set up. The breakfast itself was delicious from the giant cinnamon bun, ricotta French toast, sweet potato pancakes to the traditional eggs and omelettes as well as kids meals. This is the first time we have been to The Station under this ownership and they did a beautiful job. The food is awesome and the decor and atmosphere is perfect. However the iconic Warren Station Peach Pie is now another beloved beach memory. I was in town this weekend and decided to stop by for brunch/lunch. The hostess was very welcoming and sat us right away at a lovely table. Our server Jody was wonderful. She was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the cream of crab soup and it was probably the best that I have ever had. It had a little kick to it and I loved it. I had the veggie sandwich and it was amazing! A bit messy due to the olive tapenade but I thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff were friendly in this little coffee shop and bakery. Everything was clean and new. My family had wanted to try this place since they reopened. The best thing we had was the cinnamon bun and it had a very generous amount of icing. It was soft, chewy, and packed a cinnamon flavor on the inside. I thought it could have had more cinnamon on the inside though. However, It was still really good! Everything else was average at best. The sticky bun seemed like it was missing something. It tasted more like monkey bread than a sticky bun. My oldest son liked his brownie but my youngest son didn't like his Oreo cupcake at all. I tried it and agreed. Something didn't taste right. The espresso had a bitter taste but they use Lavazza beans and I'm not a fan of those. Yea, I am very particular about my espresso beans. Would I give the place another try? Sure but I would probably get the two kinds of cinnamon buns and be very happy with that. read more
