Donut bucket with chocolate sauce and strawberry jam dipping sauces
Shauna G.

A tasty treat after an early morning bike ride along the boardwalk. Zelkys is a small stall that makes donuts hot and fresh after you order them. It's a simple menu: you choose either powdered or cinnamon sugar and then you pick a dipping sauce. The donuts are very small so you'll definitely want to order more than one. We split a bucket of cinnamon sugar donuts with 2 sauces among 5 adults and it was plenty.

Cinnamon Sugar Mini Doughnuts
Kim B.

This past winter we tried some mini donuts at an Ice Festival in PA and were immediately hooked but finding them since has been impossible so I was thrilled to see the Zelkys Mini Donut Stand open this afternoon. I'd heard that the arcade sold mini donuts but never saw them before today. The donuts are deep fried right before your eyes and are melt in your mouth delicious. I got a dozen of the cinnamon sugar with strawberry jam dipping sauce and they totally lived up to the hype, slightly crisp on the outside, warm & fluffy on the inside little pillows from heaven. You can even buy these babies by the bucket which I just might have to do before heading home.

Yes. Fractured Prune in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, custom makes fresh doughnuts for each and every…read moreorder. The results are super fresh right out of the hot oil bath doughnuts full a warmth and strong flavors to excite your tongue. No wonder it is an institution in this part of the world. Their colors are mostly deep pastel, matched by strong flavors that really stand out. Perhaps because we stopped by on a snowy morning in early December, our box of a half dozen warmed my hands as I walked back to the car parked right in front. We drove a ways before opening the lavender box to sample the first ones. We found them soft and friable, so that they were difficult to pick up in one piece. They fell apart on touching, requiring us to remove them carefully to avoid further crumble onto car seats and floor. Should have grabbed more napkins. Still, despite the minor mess, they did excite the tongue due to their strong flavors and uber freshness. Eaten with hot Java as washdown, it was self explanatory why they were so popular and had been around in the same location of Coastal Highway for decades. Ownership still makes and serves the doughnuts, and was happy to shoot the sh*t with this stranger while working the assembly line. These cake dough boys are the real deal. If you're into Duck Donuts and Krispy Kremes, Fractured Prune will definitely float your boat. 5 Sweet Stars

I don't believe you can go wrong with what donut you pick. They make them fresh right in-front of you and the ingredients are really a good quality. One of the best donut shops we've had.

I was honestly blown away by the salted pistachio latte, it was the highlight of my visit!. The bakery items were also quite good and paired perfectly with the drinks. The entire menu looks delicious, and I already have my eye on a few other items to try next time. The environment is very nice, clean, and has a great vibe. To top it off, the service was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I'll definitely be back!

Wonderful brunch!…read more Stopped in on my birthday for brunch and had a lovely experience. We had the Pistachio Honey Latte, Shakshuka, beef soup, salmon toast and maple veggies. As a Shakshuka lover who has spent time in Israel I am quite picky about my Shakshuka but I can confidently say I was pleasantly surprised by this one and enjoyed every bite! The beef soup was a bit bland unfortunately but the salmon toast has copious amounts of salmon and was delicious. The maple veggies were also wonderful. The pistachio honey latte was perfectly balanced not being overly sweet. Service was nothing to note as you seat yourself and get your own food here but staff was nice. Ambiance was alright, we had to sit out in the patio area which while heated was a less than desirable location to eat but it wasn't bad. Overall we truly enjoyed our time at The Station and will be back without a doubt.

A Solid Bagel Stop in Lewes…read more I've eaten at Surf Bagel before, so on the way home from a recent business trip I decided to stop again and grab breakfast to go. I ordered a sesame bagel with egg, cheese, and scrapple, along with a hash brown. The bagel was nicely toasted and very fresh, which is really what you hope for when you're stopping at a place that specializes in bagels. The sandwich itself was simple but very satisfying. Nothing over the top or crazy fancy, just a well made breakfast sandwich that hit the spot. The service was friendly and quick, and the place itself has a unique feel to it. Inside they sell quite a bit of Surf Bagel merchandise, which gives it a fun local vibe beyond just being a bagel counter. I included a few photos because the shop has a cool look to it. I stopped in around 9 in the morning and it was still pretty busy, even during the off season. That tells me this place probably gets packed during the summer months. Overall, everything was fresh, the staff was nice, and it's definitely a place I'd stop at again when I'm in the area.
