It's not a big interior, but they have a speaker system that you can hear outside. Stopped in here to pick up fudge while on vacation. My hotel offered to have their chocolate fudge delivered to the room but I wanted to check them out for myself and see the other flavors ! It's a little icecream shop and they also have a cafe / coffee shop next store (I stopped in there as well but that's a separate review . This was tucked back a bit from the main like strip. It was pretty tiny inside and there was maybe 3 girls working. One case is all fudge and the other all icecream. They had a large variety of fudge and they had buy 2 lbs, $16 each, get the third free. I ended up getting 6 flavors it was easiest to do 1/2 pound bricks. I picked up pistachio walnut I for my fiancés grandmom, I got heath bar, chocolate and vanilla swirl, salted caramel, cookies and creme and it was either plain chocolate chip or chocolate chip cheesecake I'm not sure but it was the very best flavor of all of them! They had so many good ones and I tend to like more vanilla flavors so most of these were a combo of both. Everything was so fresh- I still had a few tiny pieces a week later stashed in the fridge and it's still so good! Definitely one of the better fudge places I've been to and way better than Jersey or the Carolinas. Definitely worth a stop! read more

This review is only based on the açaí bowls. They are superb. The best i've tried on the East coast at least. Why? There's a heat wave going on and you don't want to eat anything except cold light meals/snacks. Ordered the basic aka "The OG" and it delivered. The açaí has good texture and consistency. There's a thick layer of extra-crunchy granola which adds to the amazinggggness of the bowl. There's a generous heaping of ripe blueberries, strawberries and bananas. On top of this they add chia seeds and coconut flakes. It was so good my family ordered this one to two times a day for the 2-3 days we spent in Bethany Beach. Doesn't beat Southern California's açaí bowls but it's pretty close. read more

Such a fan of this place! They had a few vegan options, which I really appreciated! The vegan milkshake is DELICIOUS and I would highly recommend it, even to non-vegans. And I was pleasantly surprised to se a vegan dessert option so I tried that as well and really enjoyed it. I discovered this place a few months ago while in the staying area for work. When I was in the area (April/May), Covid had just about everything closed. This was one of the few places that was open several days a week and I'm happy it was! Ok so this is a review for the coffee shop attached to the bakery but I believe they are owned by the same business. The shop is little with outdoor table and chairs but no indoor seating. They have baked goods, coffee, and drinks! The servers were nice and helpful with recommending drinks. Parking was easy and finding the place wasn't hard either. I got an iced caramel latte with almond milk (mild caramel flavor), iced foam coffee with oat milk(really good), blueberry muffin (good). read more

Want to take your family to a place for a special treat - this is the place to go! We took a group of 10 people of different ages. There was a special treat for everyone. The fudge is divine, creamy and wonderful flavors. Not waxy, like other local fudge shops. Others in our group enjoyed Vanderwende's ice cream. Every flavor was delicious. One in the group didn't want sweets, but was able to get a little toy. The staff was professional and patient while they waited for everyone's choices. This is a good little shop that will be sure to satisfy your sweet tooth! I ordered about one pound of fudge that cost around $15. (You have to order at least a 1/4 lb of a flavor.) I went with M&Ms (the best), Reese's Pieces (2nd best), Chocolate nonpareil (good but nothing to write home about), and cookies and cream (too sickeningly sweet/rich and underwhelming). Went here for breakfast this morning & was served very quickly, even with a few people ahead of me. Everyone was also super friendly and cheerful! I thought the açaí bowls seemed expensive at first until I saw the size of them! They are the perfect price for how big each bowl is (not to mention they are delicious)! I was allowed to substitute toppings as well depending on my likes/dislikes. If you are looking for a small snack, I recommend getting the kids size bowl, but if the bowl counts as your full breakfast or lunch, go for regular size! The ice cream is Vanderwende's, so I give that about an 8/10 overall. However, I go to this place for the fudge. It's right in between 2 Candy Kitchens -- oh Bethany, how you love your candy. But this place is better. Staff were attentive and helpful. They give samples of any fudge you want to try, which is nice because I can not imagine how else I would figure out whether I wanted to purchase banana pudding flavor fudge. I mean seriously. They have a marvelous variety of flavors. A particular note: they do have "sucrose-free" fudge. Upon inquiry, they said that the fudge is sweetened with maltitol. So, if you are diabetic or have dietary restrictions on sugar in your food right now, you can visit these guys for fudge all the same. I got this fudge and it is pretty much exactly like regular fudge. So I recommend it highly. read more

This is the best fudge on the east coast. When visiting Bethany beach this is a must stop. They have so many flavors and samples are available if you ask. My favorite flavor is sea salt caramel. The fudge is always fresh too. It would be grand if they shipped. read more

While our ice cream sundae was good, we were disgusted to see uncovered bins if unwrapped bulk candy that anyone in line could touch or sneeze on. See photo. Additionally, my mother asked for a sample of fudge and the worker used a spatula to cut a small piece and proceeded to have my mother grab the piece off of the spatula. Then, he continued using that spatula to serve others! Yuck!
