We decided to stop by and get some ice cream on our stroll on the boardwalk. The service was excellent and the young man immediately asked if our dog would like a pup cup and held it for her as she ate it. So sweet. We both got cups, a chocolate brownie and a strawberry. The serving sizes were decent and the ice cream was good. They have tons of flavors to choose from so you will have a tough decision. It is just a boardwalk ice cream store so you can take your sweet treat and sit on one of the benches and enjoy all the activities on the beach and the boardwalk. A perfect stop for a summer day. read more

Fun and unique flavors! Came here twice on my last beach trip - not all the flavors are a hit but they're funky and worth trying! Our fave was the peanut butter lovers. They their homemade flavors of course. Also I love the free sprinkle bar, don't forget to add some! Don't worry if the line is long, they move quick. This is our go to ice cream place when we visit Rehoboth Beach. We have been coming here for many years now and this place is still the best! They have a LOT of flavors to choose from. Great ice cream shop with lots of handmade flavors (there are other flavors that aren't housemade). My daughter and I enjoyed the Ocean Blue Party Cake flavor. The waffle cones are Joy brand. My favorite ice cream ever!! We come almost every weekend in the summer and bring all our family and friends here. It's a super convenient location right off the boardwalk and a few steps from the beach. The homemade flavors are so fun and absolutely delicious. Crack is my personal favoriteservice is pretty quick and the staff is friendly. My only complaint is that they advertise that they have gluten free waffle cones and they NEVER have any when we go. They say they run out quickly during the day but it doesn't make sense to me why they can't just make more? My poor dad gets so excited for the cones and is always disappointed when they don't have any for him. read more

I love a good scoop of ice cream. This place was packed but moved quick! You gotta know what you want to order because they don't play around at the register! I understand this place gets busy during the summer, but that's no excuse for the poor hygiene I witnessed. The staff appeared filthy dirty and were handling cones with their bare hands. One customer asked why their cone was wet, and the employee casually replied it was from their hand -- with no effort to use gloves or tongs. When my turn came, a visibly dirty staff member did the same, and I had to refuse the order. It was concerning from a health standpoint, and I won't be returning. There are plenty of cleaner, more responsible ice cream shops nearby. read more

This ice cream place has tons of flavor options. I had Columbia's coffee and Nutella on a waffle cone. The Nutella flavor was not strong, it tasted like regular chocolate. I definitely tasted the coffee flavor. Free sprinkles topping is a nice perk. I appreciate the plastic cone carrier that helped holding the cone and catcher the drippings. I tried the booger and the coffee fudge truffle. It was a so so experience. Not much in terms of flavor as the booger just tasted like vanilla ice cream which was ok as I don't think anyone wants an actual booger flavor. The coffee fudge truffle just lacked coffee flavor in the ice cream. For about $8 small, I'd expected better. I'll probably won't return. read more

We went for the special flavors: banana pudding, chocolate chip and cayenne chocolate- lower price at around $4.25 for large, and we liked the flavors anyway (usually close to $7 with so many combinations of flavors to choose from though). The cayenne chocolate had a little spice and chocolate pieces in it. Enjoyed it. Glad they were open when most of the stores were closed around 9pm. Interesting flavors, always busy. Their flavors are out of this world! Typical boardwalk storefront but efficient staff and they were cranking out the ice cream and milkshakes. Ambiance is on par for a boardwalk shop. They have lots of dairy-free option which my family loved (they all are lactose intolerant). Will come back every time! read more

Very busy, all the time. But fast and efficient service. Very good and refreshing but a bit too sweet for me. Got the one scoop lemon sorbet and it was tasty. Wish it was a bit more tart or tangy. If, like me, you like unique ice cream flavors . . . this is worth fighting your way to a parking spot and then standing in line. Lots of flavor options. Nothing particularly oddly-exotic (I've eaten cricket and sauerkraut ice cream) but lots of unique combinations, including some with bacon and other less common ingredients. Heck yeah! I got the salty caramel truffle. It was fantastic. They let you add your own sprinkles. FREE SPRINKLES! Life is awesome when you have free sprinkles. Let me repeat. FREE SPRINKLES!!! Yes, it's not cheap but you're paying for almost ocean-front property, the massive number of options, the experience, and the sprinkles!!! This is worth a visit every time. read more

Honestly, for the price and the ridiculously long line, this place is not even close to worth it. Pictured is 2 scoops which is really more like 2 1/2 scoops that equal 1 scoop. We got 2 single scoops, 3 2 scoop portions and a milkshake and it came to $50. This is an absolutely wild price. Our family of 6 has gotten icecream at multiple other places and we usually pay $35-$40 for MUCH larger portions. The flavors are gimmicky. There were barely any mix ins in the 2 flavors pictured. Save yourself 45 min in line and nearly $8 for a small portion and go somewhere else. read more

After a post-dinner walk, we stopped in to get some ice cream here. There are sometimes employees who will come out to take orders but it doesn't make sense who they will come out to help. The group behind us had just arrived and immediately had their order taken. For ice cream, I ordered the chocolate chip cookie dough in a waffle cone. The ice cream itself was fine, it was typical and perfect for a summer evening. The waffle cone was trash -- it was undercooked overall but especially on one side where it was completely soft and had a weird texture. I did like that they gave us a waffle cone holder since the ice cream immediately started dripping through. I wouldn't waste the extra money on a waffle cone -- just get a cake cone or opt for the cup. There were two main lines that were long and somewhat chaotic. It's definitely a crowd favorite so be prepared for a lot of people at any time of day. It wasn't too loud, but definitely busy and even when we were walking by earlier in the day it was still busy. Thankfully the line moves at a decent speed since there are a ton of people working behind the counter. read more

Oh. My. Lanta. The flavors -- just nuts. Locally this pace is called "TICS" short for The Ice Cream Store and man is this place good. The line is usually pretty decent - especially at night -- but it's worth the very short wait. They have TONS of flavors -- and by tons I mean well over 50 .. some of them have funny names like "Go Fudge Yourself" or "Crack" or "Better Than Sex". They have your typical flavors but also kick it up a bunch of notches by having a lot of really interesting flavor varieties. If you have a sweet tooth, this is your place. We came here on a Friday afternoon. I ordered a Salty Caramel Truffle on a sugar cone. It was delicious! The ice cream had caramel syrup and real chocolate bits. My husband ordered a butter pecan and chocolate peanut butter shake with a banana. It was good, but there was too much milk for his taste. Looked up the best icecream and BOOM this was the first shop mentioned. Not to mention this was the only icecream store on the boardwalk with a gigantic line down almost to the beach entrance. Loved the unique flavors. I have to go back to try the carolina reaper and everything bagel seasoning flabors. I got the crack which was the perfect balance of sweet and salty. Ahhhh so many choices I couldn't decide! Ended up with a single scoop of the Better than Sex, which was a solid choice. Definitely should have gotten a double, especially when sharing with an 8 month old! Thought it would be overly sweet as it was cake battered ice cream, but it surprisingly wasn't. Enioyed the chunks of cake in the ice cream. Perfect for a hot day, but you have to eat it quickly! Tons of people were standing in front of the store when we arrived. I had so much difficulty trying to figure out what flavor to pick from, because they were so many options!!!! Not a good place for an indecisive person, haha!! They have so many unique flavors, but I ended up being boring and got the orange creme flavor. Perfect balance between orange and creme. First time at Rehoboth Beach and we happened to stumble upon this ice cream shop. They have sooooo many homemade flavors and regular flavors; it can be very overwhelming to decide on one flavor lol. But there are worse problems to have, right? I ended up going with Better Than Sex after tasting that and the Cookie Monster flavors. It was so rich, decadent, and had the perfect amount of chocolate. I also got a $1 off coupon for jumping rope! Just by jumping rope or hula hooping, you could earn a coupon. OHHHH and I must mention their waffle cones- DEE-LISH-USH! Delicious! I will definitely be back the next time I am in town and I highly recommend them. read more

My usual go-to smoothie place at the end of Penny Lane was already closed for the season, so i decided to try here and ordered a Green Lover for $12. Nothing to complain about, yet nothing to rave about either. The smoothie from here served its purpose for my hydration and nutrition at a cost commensurate with a place on Rehoboth Avenue. I'd probably go again if my usual place is closed.

"Did it look like that to you?" "No, it was a pokey little hole." So, I double checked my notes to see if I was looking at the wrong place. Nope. Checked the map yelp provides. Yeo, that was the place. I went to and wow was my experience different. My wife and I found it looking down a small side alley, the sort that has charming little shops off the main drag. The place was small and dark, and words like 'charming old-style drifted in my mind. and 'old school local place, what coffee shops were like before Starbucks.' There was a high counter and a couple of people sitting off to the side, talking around a small table. and it went downhill from there. As we stood there one of the people sitting bellowed out a woman's name and said 'customers!" I would later find out this guy was the owner/manager but he seemed more involved in his conversation while a small older woman, I'd noticed hauling trash bags and the like, seemed to be his sole employee, who was also supposed to serve food. It was a small thing but it sort of stuck in my mind as to 'why didn't he help?' my wife and I each got a coffee and they were only about $3 each. OK good. The milk was in a fridge in the corner, and this is where things went south. I poured it in and it was off. We were several days past the 'use by' date and it was not viable. I point this out and the owner from his chair said 'oh, get another.' and moved behind the counter. I thought he was getting me a fresh cup but he seemed surprised to see me standing there when he turned around a couple of minutes later. I guess he was refreshing HIS cup but meant I could open another container of milk in the fridge to pour different milk into the cup I'd already added sour milk to. "Oh do you want another cup of coffee?" At this point I'd had enough. I wasn't going to make a fuss, it was only $3, but I wasn't going to stand there any longer. I left. Between the dingy setting, yelling at employee(s), sour milk and an inability to see a problem with this I honestly wondered if I was being punked. My wife, who took her cup black, said she found it too sweet but after the parade of what I saw, I am beyond surprised at the large number of good reviews here. I'd like to say maybe I got them on a bad day but with the pictures being at such variance form my experience, wow. And I looked very closely before I wrote all this and could see how those would be the same place but just, a long time before I got there.
