I got the iced matcha latte and added coconut cold foam. It is good, but I recommend adding a flavor syrup or classic syrup to sweetened the drink or else it'll be bitter and bland. For sweet coffee lovers, I recommend the Salty Turtle. It's so good! I arrived at 9:30am on a Sunday. It was pretty busy, but the line moves quick and the wait isn't long either. Decided to stop and grab some coffee before playing a round of golf nearby. Both my matcha latte and my husband's regular latte were good. We also shared a muffin which was fresh and tasty. If I was on the area I'd stop by there again. read more

Came here while visiting from Virginia last month and am still thinking about it. AMAZING coffee. I got a mocha latte and a chocolate croissant, both of which were sooo good. Flaky buttery chocolately croissant, yum. The guy serving the coffee was really fun and friendly too. I spent like two hours there shopping at the book and toy store. Reasonably priced books and a great selection that's easy to browse through. I usually have no interest in toy stores but this one was SO cool. A small, artsy coffee shop near Bethany Beach. They offer small eats and both inside and outside seating, although if you choose to sit in their small upstairs area it smells like sitting in someone's attic. I ordered my usual latte and it unfortunately, was ok at best. The milk was way too hot and not appropriately textured for a latte. The result was a little bitter aftertaste. They don't offer real mugs which is a pet peeve of mine so overall, not what I was hoping for. read more

Quite a hidden gem! Where do I start? The quaint bookstore? The vintage atmosphere? The quick service? The friendly faces? All things worthy to mention. But the best part? The tasty coffee of course! I got my usual--iced latte with whole milk. The espresso was bold, blending perfectly with the milk. There was an array of indoor seating options from cozy couches to studious two seaters. They also offered many outdoor seating options. It would be a crime to dismiss the connecting bookstore! We went early morning so the main section of the bookstore was not open, however there was still a decent selection open to early morning coffee go-ers that you could purchase at the café. The eclectic (a word I've seen used countless times to describe this shop) and "homey" atmosphere left me wishing I was a regular at Drifting Grounds. The slight complaint we had was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Although I did not find this down point worth losing one star as our main focus in visiting the café was not to tinkle. All in all I would highly recommend visiting Drifting Grounds whether you're visiting Bethany for a beach trip or just passing through! read more

The coffeehouse most know shut down opening on for curbside caffeine service; then it moved and opted for a food truck arrangement which lasted a near interminable amount of time as it slowly rebuilt a Third Place. Today DG has a place without wheels nestled in a unique and brilliant compound shared with artists and the Book Lounge in Millville. On a recent Saturday we arrived, as did a good portion of LSD, sharing space in a pandemic world quaffing delicious drip coffee and my pungent and strong Cortado. And we reveled in the wonderful place away from home and work like we used to... reading books, chatting with neighbors and tourists in a Third Place I'd only wished was closer to my home. read more

What a great coffee shop. Four of us arrived in the morning for coffee on a weekday, huge line. Plus They had mobile orders. They seemed to be pretty efficient at everything they are doing. I would recommend them hanging up their coffee flavor signs somewhere visible when you face the register. The cashier had to tell me what the flavor options were because I wanted to try a new flavor.
