They clearly pride themselves on macarons and specialty coffee drinks, rightfully so too. The drinks were very delicious! My caramel macchiato was not overly sweet, but definitely a treat. My husband loved his Cuban latte (latte with sweet and condensed milk). My son wanted to try the macarons, but the flavors were a little too wild for him like sour grape and passion fruit matcha. When I asked a local what their favorite coffee place is because there's a few on the Main Street, they said this was the place to go for a specialty coffee drink you'll only find in Berlin. However, I missed the specialty menu because it wasn't located next to the main menu. I only saw it after I ordered on the adjacent wall. I will be back, but ordering off the menu I missed next time!

It's bright, playful, incredibly photogenic, and just puts you in a good mood the second you walk in. And the food was just as memorable. The raspberry tres leches was incredible -- rich, moist, and absolutely delicious. Then there was the coffee bean mousse... OMG!! That alone is worth coming back for. Such a cute, memorable spot with great desserts and a fantastic atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

I stopped in after shopping at the Bethany farmers market…read morewith 4 elementary school boys (not my kids) who, unbeknownst to me, knew exactly how to order at a coffee shop. They ordered strawberry shortcake matchas and iced vanilla milks and specified for the woman taking their orders exactly how many vanilla pumps they wanted and what type of milk alternatives to request. The barrista took their orders like they were adults (while eying me to make sure this was all ok). We also got 2 pastries to split. We got some kind of coffee cake and a chocolate chip muffin. I didn't get to try either as the boys wolfed them down and left a mess of crumbs bc they aren't actually as bougie as their orders. (sorry about the crumbs if you are reading this, Clove and Cedar). The little boys said it was the best matcha they ever had - and apparently they are experts. hahahaha. I am in Lower DE every week and had completely given up trying to find a decent matcha here bc every place I've tried just sucked. When I saw the color of the dark green matcha at Clove and Cedar, I knew immediately it was going to taste great. I got the Ube Vanilla Matcha and it was perfecto!!! Honestly, I can't even explain how excited I am that I found this great place. I wish it was closer to Dewey or Rehoboth as there is nothing up here like it. I def will make the drive again to Bethany soon!!!

They have multiple matcha drinks on their menu but I did not really like the strawberry matcha I got. It tasted very watered down. My friend and husband also agreed. I make matcha at home and thoroughly enjoy a matcha at other cafes but this one didn't do it for me. The mint mocha was really good but didn't really taste like mint. I loved the coffee cake!!

The store is a bit tight in spots so I'd recommend against bringing a gaggle of people, big purse or stroller.
