Wow! I started going with my daughters to this darling. eclectic boutique in Ocean City about 13 years ago. Every time that I come to Ocean City, I have to visit Raggamuffin. I always find something cute, fun and unique there! From jeans to jewelry to cute casual outfits and even trendy sweatshirts, you will always find something that can't be found in a typical women's retail clothing store. On top of being located in a fun, artsy looking little house--everything about shopping at Raggamuffin is fun! You are sure to go home with something that people will rave about! read more

A very charming boutique right off of the main road in Ocean City. Its right around 25th street, convenient street parking right in the front of the store. The owner Mark is very friendly and you can tell he has a passion for all his products. He's got a great eye and if you're looking for flowly, sun-attire that feels high-quality but is comfy, this is a great place to check out. Prices are reasonable so idk why it has three $$$ on here. Its definitely not cheap materials which is hard to find in Ocean City. The shop dog is a corgi named Penny and is super friendly and relaxed. I should say that the store doesn't sell mens clothes (which is a shame because I'd be interested to see Marks taste in Men's clothes, hes got a great eye) but it should be said that my girl friend is obviously the one who tried on everything and was very satisfied with her purchase. Love this store! It used to be much smaller and closer to the boardwalk, but this new location is an old house and has several small rooms of fun things for sale! Staff is really friendly and you can tell they truly believe in their business, love what they sell, and enjoy speaking with customers. My favorite things are their dresses and jewelry. They have many unique finds that you most likely will not see anywhere else! If you are looking for a new summer dress this is your place! read more

While walking to Fish Tales restaurant I stopped in the cute and cozy boutique, Raggamuffin. Right away I was greeted by a salesperson (maybe the owner?) who was super friendly and didn't shop-stalk me while I looked around. I really loved the clothes and because they are great quality, the prices are steep-- $60 - 100 on average. The store is two small rooms with mostly clothes, two glass displays exposing the accessories for sale and about 15 purses and scarves throughout the store. A purse I was considering was around 72.00. The accessories and clothing lines are not souvenir style by any means, instead its pricey fashion forward. No mens clothes. I stumbled across Raggamuffin years ago when my high school girlfriends and I took a trip before everyone went off to college on a rainy day and fell in love. Everything they have here is super cute and reasonable. The woman behind the counter is very sweet and loves to help you find a great piece of clothing to add to your closet. I understand that it is an independently owned shop and you've gotta make money some how but seriously? Their prices are worse than what you would find at any Free People or Urban Outfitters chain! My husband bought my two necklaces from here without my knowing but I found the receipt and the price was about $120! I looked up the maker of the necklaces and found them in their on-line shop for $20 a piece!. Would not recommend shopping here. It's a total rip off. read more

For me and our crew, Ragamuffin is a fantastic spot to shop for reasonably priced, every day outfits, small gifts, more luxurious gifts for bigger occassions, and special occasion outfits. Every time a birthday or holiday rolls around, we make sure Ragamuffin is the first place we go. One of the only high quality boutique shops in OC to keep regular late hours...so you can even find that last minute cocktail dress before a night out. An added bonus is that it's not a chain but a boutique shop owned by a local family with easygoing personalities, work ethic, a committment to the environment, and an amazing sense of style that reaches far beyond our little beach town. I've been shopping at Raggamuffin since I was a teen in the '90s and it was located right off the boardwalk. It's a cute boutique with many adorable items but even as an adult with a decent-paying job, I can barely afford to buy anything here. As a teen, I imagined being able to come back when I was grown up and going on shopping sprees here. Raggamuffin may be my favorite boutique anywhere. Tons and tons of treasures, unique and really special finds. I've been shopping at Raggamuffin since 1995. The owners are super helpful and kind. It's just a perfect little spot, you can spend literally hours looking at all the wares. The displays are awesome! My aunt lives in OC and every visit to here yields several trips for Raggamuffin to me. :) My aunt even Christmas shops for me there. It's not cheap, true, but the merchandise is so enticing and unusual that I will gladly pay the prices. Besides,it's a pleasure supporting a wonderful independent business. Long live Raggamuffin. I absolutely love this shop! My birthday is in July, so every year when I come down the beach I look forward to spending my birthday cash here! They have a great selection of clothes, each piece is very unique from the cute, flirty sundress to the casual t-shirt. They have a variety of girly assessories which are great for any age! The store is decorated from top to bottom and the staff is so nice! They are always helpful when it comes to pairing certain looks together and finding the right jewelry to go with that special dress or top.... This is a boutique, so the store is a little pricey however SO WORTH it. The quality of the clothing is exceptional and no one else sells the same styles. I actually like the clothes/accessories in this store and being older (I'm in my 40's) I can afford the jacked up prices. But after the last visit with my 14 year old daughter, I'll never go back. She brought an armload of clothes to try on into fitting room. The older man working (I guess the owner) told her "just leave the things you don't want", so she did and went to browse the jewelry. He then came after her yelling "how dare you leave clothes on the floor!!!" One, she didn't understand that "leave them" meant hang them neatly, Two, he would never have spoken to an adult that way. This is an adorable store with unique gifts, clothes, jewelry, and accessories! For me, this is a beach "must", as much as steamed crabs or getting in the ocean. I have been going to this store for years, way back to when they were at the old location. It's owned by a sweet couple who always thank you for your business and for shopping local. You can get great beach themed items here and the place is decorated beautifully. I have never come out without finding something, even my husband loves it! And most summers you can almost always find a coupon for a free gift with purchase and it is always great stuff! I cannot say enough how much I look forward to this store each time I head down, wish there were more cute shops like this is OCMD. I was told last summer that they will expand soon and carry more houseware type items, I cannot wait! Some of the reviews stated the prices are outrageous, I disagree. Some items are out of my price range but I find they have a good mix of varied priced items. But it is a boutique afterall, not sunsations! Gag me! So you get what you pay for. read more

I stopped at Raggamuffins on Wed, June 28th. Wow!! Lots of great handbags at good prices. Very unique items, handmade, but yes pricey. They had items I haven't seen elsewhere. The owner was very helpful and funny. I'm a little heavy to wear alot that they offer, and yes, you have to watch for the Made in China tags. I just won't buy them. read more
