I always try to support local businesses whenever I can, and Patty Jeans has a great selection of…read moretrendy, stylish clothes for women and teens. Whenever I need a gift for my wife or daughter this shop is tops in my list. The shop is always immaculate, and the staff is always willing to help me make good choices. Highly recommend.

Went here today and had an EXTREMELY unpleasant experience. I was looking at the E Newton bracelets…read moreand really liked 3 or 4 of them. I picked them up and was walking past the register. The older woman behind the register, asked if she could hold onto the bracelets at her desk while I continued to shop. I politely responded that I was going to go show my mom and get her opinion on which ones to buy (as I was not getting them all). She proceeded to stare at me like a hawk for the next 2-3 minutes. I walked to my mom- who was just a few feet away from the register- who was shopping for a hat. I was actively showing her/asking her opinion on which bracelet to buy. We were also discussing the hat she liked. I never placed any of the bracelets near my pockets or near my purse. They were never hidden. I am a 31 year old Nurse Practitioner, who was dressed appropriately and clearly shopping with intent to purchase multiple items. I kept the bracelets in plain view- holding them up to my mom. I simply valued my mom's opinion while shopping during our girls day. The older woman left the register and walked over to me and proceeded to tell me I could not hold onto the bracelets or walk around with them any longer. She held her hand out to confiscate them from me. She was extremely rude. It made me feel awful- like I was being treated as a thief or like I was in some way going to try and steal them. I was so embarrassed in front of everyone. My mother was appalled. We both had multiple shopping bags on our arms, and had been spending money all day in the boutiques- that was clear. We handed her the bracelets and set down the hat and walked out. It was an extremely bad experience and I have never EVER been treated like that in a store before- like I was trying to steal something. It was horrible. I held the bracelets clearly out in front of me the entire time....We ended up going right next door to a different jewelry store: Please do go to Treasure Chest next door for jewelry instead. I walked around Treasure Chest with the jewelry that I had intended to buy for the entire time, and the lady that worked there was so pleasant and extremely nice. She never once treated me like a thief or like I would not pay for my necklace that I was holding onto, during my shopping there. I spent $250 there on a beautiful necklace, instead of the bracelets I had intended to buy earlier from the older lady at Patti Jeans boutique.....Their loss. I will NEVER enter this boutique again. My mother and I are disgusted.
