Iced coffee, made just the way I like it, and a seat outside while reading.

It was a very warm day and after walking around for a while, I headed there for a violet Italian soda. It was very busy in there and the staff juggled everyone as well as possible. Unfortunately, they were out of the seltzer water used to make the drink so I had to pivot. I opted for an iced coffee. I can't remember if there were size options but mine was rather small. I loved that I could pick my own coffee from the side bar and then add cream, sugar, etc. Compared to other small coffee shops I found in the area, this was a better quality for a better price. They have lots of unique teas if that's your thing. You can buy their coffee. You can get different drinks. Some sound pretty unique. This is one of my top five coffee places in the LSD beach area.

Very nice small independent coffee Cafe in the heart of downtown rehoboth Beach..splendid pastries and cakes...would have given it five stars but for the slow service...nice little seating area

Despite the great location and good drinks, it is pricey and the service is less than satisfactory. The girl taking our order was hard to hear and had no personality. Even heard her call out the order wrong to the girl behind her right after I paid. Would suggest major staff changes. The interior is cool though, would recommend getting something to take home from the wall of flavored teas/coffees.

We visited here this morning on our little coffee hopping trip. The place smells fantastic at all hours of the day/night (we passed by a few times on various days before coming) and has a huge selection of bagged coffees and pastries. Seating is limited, only 4-5 tables and lots of big sacks of coffee beans in the way. Assume it's decor but it's a huge waste of space. Nonetheless, we sat to eat. I ordered a warm mocha latte which was pretty good. Also got some crème brûlée pie which was very tasty. Didn't have the hard shell like the typical dessert but didn't necessarily expect it to. The people at the counter didn't really smile or laugh too much. They seemed pretty grumpy which was really pathetic. Yesterday I went to a coffee shop in Cape May and everyone was so cheerful and friendly and helpful. Not really here though the older woman and the two younger girls just didn't seem happy to be there, which is off putting. It could be perceived that the people who work there want you in and out due to lack of space and non welcoming demeanor.

I stopped by here earlier today with my wife, our kids and her parents for our morning coffee. We happened to be in historic Lewes for the morning whenever I put Coffee into the Yelp search. Nottinghill Coffee Roasters was down the street and the first option in the results and so we headed on over. The shop itself was somewhat tiny but man did it have a lot to look at. There was a big coffee roaster on one side with all of the coffee sacks of previous coffees they had roasted. Then on the other side was a ton of coffee for sale with everything from specialty roasts to a crazy assortment of flavorings. I even saw one which was supposed to be the vanilla ice cream of the local homemade ice cream store I had walked past earlier. Up front they had display cases full of baked goods, since it's collocated with the bakery. Last but not least, towards the back they had a big selection of loose teas. For my coffee on this morning I decided to have something iced since it was already quite hot outside. So I decided to try for a iced cappuccino. I was told that they couldn't make it, which actually makes sense and so I went with a latte which they could make. Then for my wife I ordered a iced mocha. Our drinks were ready after only a few minutes and I then looked around for straws for a bit. The only ones that I ended up seeing looked like boba straws to me, but they fit the cups and so that's what's I ended up using. On my wife's first sip she ended up spilling some coffee on herself. For me it was on my first two sips before I realized something wasn't right with our lids. So for the rest of the time I drank from it straight upright. As for the coffee itself, it was ok. The flavor mostly got lost in the milk for me and what I enjoyed most about my drink was how cold it was. My wife seemed to enjoy hers more than myself though, so at least it was successful for her. The bottom line for me is that I might stop by here again in the future. I found the shop itself to be quite fascinating but i wasn't a huge fan of my coffee. So the next time I will have to order something hot as I feel like iced coffee is often too watered down for my taste by all of the ice.

What a find!! Lovely all you can fill coffee options. Their desserts and wraps are great. Very friendly service. We ordered the chicken salad sandwich which was very delicious. There was a constant stream of customers coming in. The ambience is more of a coffee wholesaler with jute bags filled with beans around you. Smells absolutely yummy. They have a plethora of coffee options for sale. Definitely stop by if you're in the neighborhood.

Smells great and they have a huge selection of "pour your own" specialty coffees. The espresso in the latte was really bitter. Not at all pleasant. Staff was somewhat friendly and they had some tasty looking pastries.

Great little coffee shop where you can sit, work, chat, or want something on the go. Great and quick service. Coffee tastes really good. They had a huge selection of coffee beans, some flavors which I didn't know even existed!

Miserable staff. Makes for bad atmosphere. Coffee is decent so if you can get in and get out quick, not too bad.

The iced coffee latte I ordered barely had any milk, tasted like burnt coffee beans, and the cashier was very uninviting. Would not go back

I got a matcha latte and wasn't asked what kind of milk which I thought was odd. They ran out of cold brew as well and the iced americano was mid. We made it there on our second day and it's clear that this seems to be a favorite to both locals and visitors. Upon arriving, it was pretty difficult to find parking as all of the spots were taken, so we quickly located a spot on the residential street nearby. Walking in, the line was almost to the front door, but I didn't mind as it gave me plenty of time to peruse the menu for coffee and breakfast options. I loved seeing the coffee beans available for purchase as well as some of their merchandise on my way to the counter, in addition to admiring the hand-painted murals and so many cool seating options. The tables have really beautiful woodworking, many of which have raw edges which add a lot of personality. Order up! I opted for an iced latte with an extra shot of espresso (because I definitely needed an energy boost that day) and coconut flavoring, frozen matcha, the breakfast sandwich, and a glazed doughnut. I was really intrigued by the coffee smoothie which was featured and highlighted in multiple spaces. The term "smoothie" threw me off but I discovered from a fellow patron that it's simply a frozen blended coffee and they order it all the time. Loved checking out the outdoor seating options as well as the bar that shares the same local, Mary and Margs (SUCH a great name). Since we came in later in the morning/early afternoon, there were already quite a few people flocking to the barstools, ordering espresso martinis, which looked divine. I have to say that my coffee was delightful, you can tell that the beans were freshly ground and the extra shot of espresso really did the trick for me. The frozen matcha was delicious, 10/10, no notes! Would definitely get that again and would try the coffee smoothie next time. I ate my entire breakfast sandwich because I was starving but was expecting a lot more. The homemade biscuit is what intrigued me the most but I think I've been spoiled with some really amazing housemaid biscuit sandwiches back home so this one really fell short for me; it was kind of hard, a little burnt. All in all, this is a really cute, trendy spot, which seems to attract people of all ages with a very robust menu from morning to evening. Definitely want to come back and check out more items!

An available free street parking spot in front of the Fika entrance was an invitation impossible to ignore. The two of us enjoyed coffee and shared a bear claw mid-morning on a weekday. My black cold brew was surprisingly delicious: very pleasing smooth full body. They obviously don't skimp on coffee in their recipe based on that one cup. Excellent! There were few customers within at the time, yet a steady stream of customers seeking something to takeaway assured us it was a popular choice locally. That's a good sign too. Service was friendly and our coffee and pastry were good. We might have eaten more but salad and sandwich selections in a self-serve cooler were very limited. For example, only one pre-made sandwich was available. It's unclear if there were normally more choices. It's obvious that the owners made a substantial and thoughtful effort in building out this space. The ambiance is remarkably comfortable and welcoming. It's the kind of place that beckons. So, if I were a local patron, it would be a place I'd feel comfortable taking family or even have a business discussion. Coffee bean roasting on-site makes this place especially interesting and preferable to other coffee shops, and it is expressed in their coffee drinks. People who roast IMO, are people who are committed to craft quality. We bought a few bags of beans for home and gifts. Excellent freshness given the roast dates printed on bags. The restroom was accessible, clean, and well supplied. A separate room for kids was a delightful surprise. Of course, we assumed any children will be under supervision - it is not a playhouse. See photo. Personal touches such as a curated book collection (Jack Kerouac!), and mug selection added uniquely to creating a sense of home. You enjoy a warm reception to relax here. I'd prefer the interior lighting be dimmer (yet love the overhead fixture fabric covers!) and indirect, and that the background music be lower volume smooth jazz channel. Doing this would, I believe, create a deeper sense of intimacy and privacy which leads to more useful contemplation - an island of sanity in a world of shifting winds and currents. But there is nothing wrong with the current setup at all. Having worked in Sweden, I admire the owners/operators who seek to use Fika to remind us of different and beneficial lifestyles that are proven foundational to happiness. In that regard, this Fika, hits the spot. I hope to return whenever in the area.
