I have been here a couple times so far and that is not enough. Sadly, I live over two hours away so only get in during my ocean city trips which I wish were way more often. Last summer was my first visit after seeing some friends recommend and following them on social media. We had their longboard wings, veggie wrap and jerk chicken wrap. Everything was DELICIOUS! On Wednesday of this week I stopped in for lunch with my dog and we sat on the 'boardwalk' which is what they call part of their outdoor section. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They offer a water bowl and a complimentary piece of bacon for the pups. My dog was thrilled as you can see by one of the pics =) On this visit I tried the wrinkled green been app and the St. Croix chopped salad. Both were very good. My dog ordered the kids burger plain with no bun. He had no complaints! I stole his fries which were yummy. Luke was our server on my most recent visit. He provided excellent service! He even helped me gain some more insight on bringing a large party there later this year. He got me in touch with one of the managers and I am currently coordinating with them. Overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants in OC and can't wait to come back in a couple months! read more

I have been to longboards many times and it is a great stop after a day on the beach. They have everything you could want: sandwiches, tacos, salads, entrees, and great apps. I got the fresh fish and it was just ok. It needed more of a sauce rather than mango salsa. My husband got 2 pounds of wings as his dinner and loved every minute of it. The addiction wings are award winning for a reason. I did not order some of my favorites tonight, but are worth mentioning. The franchos, wrinkly green beans, and any of the wings. I often just order the franchos and wings to split with my husband as our entire meal. There is also great indoor and outdoor seating options. When they expanded and put the bar on a different side, it opened the restaurant up a lot and made it so much more enjoyable. Very kid friendly with good kids meals. Nothing fancy like some places try to do. They stick to kraft Mac n cheese and white bread. Your kids will be happy too. read more

Cream of crab soup was rich and filled with just enough chunks of crab meat. The Baja fish taco with flour tortilla was not bad. The only flaw was that the sauce they put on it made the fish a bit soggy on the majority of the deep fried fish.And the batter was a bit bitter. The citrus shrimp taco with flour was good. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. The toppings and seasoning blended very well. The cabbage gave the taco a great crunchy texture with each bite. The tacos were accompanied with chips. Alex our wait staff had a pleasant and friendly personality. He was also able explain the menu items in a helpful and informative manner. Imani another staff was very personable. It was a bit chilly whenever someone opened the door and took a little getting used to. Still, the meal was very much worth the price of admission and service was impeccable. I met some girlfriends at Longboard Cafe today for a mid-week lunch. I booked it because of the central location in O.C., their big & varied menu, and the fact that I could make an online reservation. They open at 11:00 am. I arrived about 15 minutes early for my noon reservation, and only a few tables were filled. But by noon, the place was packed, with several large parties. This place is really popular. The server was very nice and the food was excellent. I enjoyed the Chicken Caesar wrap. The pasta salad side was quite good, and a huge portion. Others had the cream of crab soup, a BLT, the mushroom blue cheese burger and other sides like coleslaw. One really unique thing was the asparagus--it was coated and fried like a tempura dish, but it was delicious! read more

Had a very good experience at Longboard. Food at dinner was good. The hamburger buns, made in-house, are particularly good. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The fact that the waitress came to our table just before Happy Hour ended and told us "I can get you another beer for free with our Happy Hour 2-for-1 special if I order it before 6:00pm." took them from four stars to five stars. One funny odd thing...I thought that it was standard that the shaker with more holes is salt, and the one with less holes is pepper. Longboard does it the opposite. It was recommended to try this place. I'm happy I did :-) It gets really busy--definitely make reservations. There's parking and outdoor seating available. I ordered the wings (honey/Old Bay)--extra crispy!! My goodness!!! It's delicious!! The flavor was on point!!! Perfect crunch!! No need for the ranch sauce--the wings were drenched in their sauce. Visited longboard after hearing very good reviews about their food. We came around 5:30 and there were no available seats since they are one of the few places that take reservations so I highly recommend making a reservation. We ended up sitting outside at a table in the sun, but it worked perfectly for us. The service at this place was 10/10. Very attentive. They had bogo happy hour on a Saturday which is amazing! The food was ok for the price. Shrimp tacos were good but immediately fell apart on the corn tortilla. The famous wings were great, crispy, and came out hot and fresh. The sauce was a little thick and made it heavy, but these wings seem to be breaded and had the texture of fried chicken instead of regular wings. Edit: I came back ordering takeout and got the buddha salad, green beans with secret sauce, burger, and wings. The food was MUCH better this time. Wife and I visited Longboard Cafe as one of our last meals in Ocean City. You would be wise to make reservations for this place as it's difficult to get in without one. They have parking in front, it's along a strip with a couple other places. We were placed in the side corner of the restaurant which was fine for seating, can get a little loud as the table behind us was the party table and let's just say they were a little too rambuntious, but that didn't stop us from enjoying our meal. Our server, I believe her name was Whitney was outstanding! We couldn't land on what we wanted for an app but she recommended the Famous Wrinkled Green Beans. They're flash fried with a secret sweet sauce, terrific. I would get them again and again, very tasty and delicious, definitely have a good thing going with those. For my entree I got the Baja Fish tacos, they were pretty good size. Nice slaw on them and a good piece of fish. I didn't particularly care for the tortilla chips it came with, didn't exactly go with the fish tacos, would've liked the see a rice or swap it out for a potato. My wife got the St. Croix Chopped which she said was the best salad she ate on our trip, would've went back for that alone. Came with some grilled chicken, chopped greens, bacon, blue cheese, cashews, roasted corn and some Granny Smith apples. Definitely a decent place worth visiting, make a reservation! read more

Longboards is one of my favorite places to come in Ocean City. Not only is the food delicious but it comes out SO FAST. The service is so nice and they really make sure that you are well taken care of. The decor inside is so cute and they have a little market where you can buy sauces and some fresh products. My family LOVES the appetizer order of green beans.... They are the perfect amount of wrinkly while not being mushy and have the best balsamic reduction on them.... I could eat a large order by myself. This place was a great! If you're staying at the hotel next door (Home2 Suites by Hilton Ocean City Bayside), it's like a 2-minute walk from the hotel door. Nice and conveniently close! I figured coming in January would mean not-so-crowded, but no! On a Friday night, this place was hopping and there were only a few open tables in the overflow room. Our waitress was very friendly and quick as she could be with so many customers. The inside of the main area was crowded and noisy; it's a pub, after all. They also sell a lot of local goods, including some of their sauces. Okay food. Ahem. GET THE LONGBOARD WINGS. If you have any appreciation for wings, you will love these. There's a reason they've been awarded Best Wings in Ocean City several years running. Their correctly named Addiction Sauce is the star, and the blue cheese and bacon dust take you right up to the edge of "this is too much" without crossing that line. Would absolutely get these again. My wife got the Island Frachos appetizer for her meal. It's basically the most insane loaded fries with your typical nacho toppings. I went for the rockfish "Catch of the Day." It was well-cooked and the side of green beans and baby potatoes were a nice accompaniment. I do wish there was more to the sides, otherwise the fish was overpowering. I also felt like they skimped on the lemon-caper sauce, so the dish was overall just needing more. There's an impressive drink selection. I went for the "New Fashioned," which was an orange-y take on the Old Fashioned. A little sweet, but overall not bad. My wife went for something tropical. So this is the first City, as it typically is when we come here for vacation. Longhorn never disappoints. The wife got a turkey sandwich for $14. It came with french fries, the sandwich was awesome, french fries are crispy. Our waiter Dennis made a couple suggestions, both were perfect. I got the jerk, mahi tacos, added a third for her suggestion, got flour for his suggestion. well worth the $18 for the three jerk money tacos. In order of two is 1453 with chips and a little salsa. The restaurant is dog friendly on their patio; which is heated and is perfect for dog owners that want or need to take their dog with them during off season visits. Had the asparagus and green bean as starters and salmon blt & mahi tacos as the main. All of the food was so good and I'm still thinking about the salmon blt tacos and asparagus. Everyone we met during the visit was nice and lovely. They even provided bacon and a bowl of water my pup . What I appreciated the most was the waitress realized that my dog gets nervous each time she approaches and switched side when placing items on the table. Stopped in tonight for Easter dinner. We had another terrific meal!! Our server Whitney highly attentive and a terrific waitress. I was part of a party for seven but the service could've been for just two the way she treated everyone of us. Most of us had the fish special entrée and the sauce is out of this world. Whitney said the chef was there and she would be sure to let her know how much we enjoyed it. One of the few times I didn't see Rick. That man is always around even buses tables. It is a great place. We requested a booth but were placed at a high traffic end table with a view of a cluttered work station. In our group the pork in a BBQ sandwich was tough, yep clearly tough. Our group crab-cake connoisseur said it was one of the worst crab-cake he ever had. The highlight was a smash burger taco. Too, the french fries were notably tasty after adding a sprinkle of salt. The steak i had here was seriously one of the best meals i have ever had. It was perfectly cooked to the exact way i asked for it and the garlic butter on top added so much flavor to the meal. The potato's on the side were cooked to perfection you could tell that they had been roasted to perfection by the taste. They were crispy in the outside and nice and gory in the middle. The drink i had was alright it was a lemonade mocktail of some sort, it was a bit sweet. The only complaint i have is the restaurant was so hot. It was hotter inside than it was outside. Our waiter was very nice but only came around twice and didn't really check up on us. If you want to attend here just know the dress code is not casual, dresses and button ups were seen everywhere. Truly love this place. We visit every time we're in OC and it NEVER disappoints. It was a quiet late lunch before what was likely a pretty busy off season evening the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the staff, as always, were in great spirits. I got the Southwest chicken club and my sister got the French dip. Both were fantastic and the fries are still the best in the business. My elderly mother and I had just arrived in town and were both desiring some excellent seafood choices. We were both very pleased with the dishes available here. To start our meal, I ordered the Brie and Drunken Nuts for a new taste experience for my mother - she loved it. For the entree, I had the seafood pasta (fresh Shrimp, scallops & lobster). It was so good and rich, that I ended up eating the delicious seafood & left a lot of the pasta. My mother had the shrimp crow imperial, which she absolutely loved. The food here was okay. The jerk chicken wrap was very dry, the avocados used as a bowl for the tuna salad and crab salad wasn't ripe and hard. The fries here are amazing and my brother enjoyed the burger. I would definitely come back for the fries for a quick snack but probably would look elsewhere to eat. read more
