Smash burger with onion rings
Minh-Nhat N.

We came here for lunch on a Friday and there was no wait. We initially came here because we saw tacos on some Google reviews, but they did not have tacos when we went. Nevertheless, we stayed to try other dishes they offered that day. We ordered the shrimp & crab corn bisque, Nola shrimp, and smash burger with onion rings. The smash burger was solid and the onion rings were worth the extra charge. The Nola shrimp came with 4 large, juicy shrimps and bread, although, the sauce was bit on the saltier side. I loved their shrimp & crab corn bisque which was nice and creamy. My friends ordered the po-boy and both agreed that it was quite salty. Ambiance was casual and service was good!

This is going to be my regular pit stop every time I come down to the beach from now on. Confession: I am a Marylander(30+ years) and I've never had an Orange Crush. Well, technically I still haven't because I had a passionfruit lemon one. I thought they were more like an Orange Julius until now. This flavor was so good, and potent. I don't know if I can ever try another flavor now! We came for happy hour, and lucky us! It's just around the corner from my friend's beach house! We both got an order of fish tacos and a flatbread to share. We didn't notice there were several varieties of flatbreads to choose from, but I think we scored with the best! The tomato and basil was cheesy and flavorful. It was crispy too. We will order that again. The grilled fish tacos (2 to an order) were also very good, but keep a napkin close by because the juice from the toppings will drip out. The fish was OK. Not my favorite fish taco out there, but at happy hour, the $9 price tag is a bargain. Probably what made the experience so great was our server, Amanda. She was what makes going out to eat so enjoyable. Impeccable service and friendly demeanor. (Great eyeshadow too!) I hope she's there when I go back. And her little assistant too!

Great happy hour

Slow eddies has great food. But not great service. Smash burger was good. Good happy hour prices. Fries are $2 more w the burger. But $5 for the large starter nice for a one and done. Not sure we will back Ryan was our server and told us he had a late night. Maybe that was the reason for the poor service. I ordered a drink I didn't like and he took it and got me another. But charged me for both. Thought that was wrong. If I'm being charged for it regardless leave it at the table. We finally chased him down to ask for a check. All drinks dry and boxes packed with to go food. We had waited 20 min since the boxes were given to us. Thats usually a sign that people are ready to go lol

Fast Eddies is a great spacious venue for live music, but it does get very busy especially at the bar which makes seating a premium. The service is awesome and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Food here is very good and both food and drink are fairly priced. They do have outdoor seating available but not it is not vey spacious. They are located as part of a strip mall so there is plenty of parking available.

The main bar was not crowded when we first arrived so we easily scored two bar stools with backs overlooking the south side of the bar. The bar started to fill up after 4 PM. A guy with a guitar sang some songs as per last time. The views of the Atlantic ocean and the bay are great from the Vista rooftop bar and restaurant. . They now offer many flavors of margaritas. Before we left the bar, all high tops were full with customers including customers who were waiting for our bar stools. Some customers seized the high tops, while some went to the secondary bar. A second bartender was called in when the bar became very busy. I opted for my three strawberry margaritas with salted rims for $8 each. I also enjoyed my Tsunami Wontons with Atlantic lobster, jumbo lump crab, avocado, pico de gallo, and wasabi and red pepper coulis for $20. The happy hour menu is different from when we last visited. Bartender Mark served both of us very well. My friend and I split our bill in half. My share of our bill was $49 including a 3% credit card surcharge, but excluding gratuity. We agreed we will return here again for happy hour.

Perfectly refreshing, bright, and exactly what you want on a beach‑town evening. We shared the pretzel with crab cheese dip, and that was phenomenal -- warm, soft, and paired with a rich, flavorful crab dip that tasted fresh and indulgent without being heavy. For my meal, the crab cake was very good, full of flavor and nicely done. My Caesar salad was crisp and well‑dressed, and the fresh‑cut fries were perfect -- exactly what you'd hope for from classic boardwalk‑style fries, just served in a restaurant setting. Hot, salty, and addictive. Between the drinks, the food, and the relaxed coastal vibe, Tailchasers absolutely delivered for us. We'll definitely be back.

Everyone was standing around just gossiping. We sat at the table inside and waited about 15 mins to get a server. I realize this is pretty normal here in OCMD, but there were a lot of people standing around and a handful of people eating. The server was a nice guy. He wasn't one of the folks standing around. We were hopeful. Drinks were watered down. They were supposed to be frozen. We ordered brisket Putíne. Absolutely flavorless. Had to add salt and pepper to make it edible. Even my teens didn't like it. I personally had the shrimp tacos. They fell apart, and were inconsistent in prep. One had 2 shrimps, the other had 4. One had sauce, the other did not. The taco was falling apart after the 3rd bite. Very unpleasant to eat. The oysters we ordered had tons of shell pieces in it. Again, down to the preparation. My husband had the lobster roll. It was actually good, but the portions of lobster were a joke. We went to the crab factory down the road a week ago and the value, bread and amount of lobster was a better value with equal taste. Overall, this seems like a tourist location and very hit or miss. Our experience was definitely miss for the price.

The ambiance was what you expect when dining on the east coast of Delaware, it felt like you truly walked into a fish camp, from the patrons sitting at the bar and the raw bar, to the families that were enjoying dinner and laughter together truly made you feel welcomed. Now to the food, we started off with their house made hush puppies tossed in old bay and served with honey butter, and deviled eggs with candied bacon and hot honey, these 2 dishes alone gave you that taste of southern cuisine, than came our entrees, we both had the fish and chips, and I must say this by far is one of my favorite dishes we have had since we've been coming to the beaches of Delaware and Maryland, the fish was super flaky and moist, the breading was super crispy and flavorful, you could taste the dill in their house made tartar and it left me wanting more, the chips were crispy and hot, the Cole slaw was very fresh, and the dill pickle chips on the side gave you that nice taste of salty and sour, in all Matt's exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return in the fall!'

Wow, thats what I've got for you folks wow…read more Lets start with ambiance, its cute here i loved it. Its a small, quaint little downstairs with more space upstairs. The decor is spot on, just so nice all around! Let's go on to the service. I'm going to shout out Caleb he was great all around very attentive. Answered all my annoying questions haha. Really fantastic. The wait times for food were just right, didn't take too long but didn't rush you. So now for me to talk way too much. OH MY GOD THE FOOD! This is easily the best food I've had in southern delaware. Hands down, full stop. I got a blackened catfish over a red beet salad. The fish was fresh! Yes fresh in February I'm impressed. The blackened seasoning was so good, just spicy enough to make me smile but not too spicy to be unpleasant. Flaky and perfectly cooked I was not disappointed in any way or another. How about the salad? Well, it was a kale salad which I'm not normally a fan of. But the elements of the salad were perfect, the toasted walnuts, the beets, apples, just everything about married in flawless harmony. Even my mother-in-law agreed the kale salad was great. 10/10, 5/5, whatever you want to call it this was an out of the park experience! Drinks, a new addition to my review this week haha. The bar tenders do a "great pour" per my wife and father-in-law. Me, I stick with non-alcoholic and oh man they nailed that too. This is just all good, like whole thing is great. Thank you for an awesome lunch, keep rolling folks!

I will summarize my two most recent family dinners here during the Thanksgiving and Christmas weekends: Marlene took our 5:30 PM dinner reservation over the phone. I was here with my family of nine including two children for Friday night dinner after Thanksgiving day upstairs at a corner table. I started with my spicy margarita for $14. We also shared a bottle of Duckhorn Decoy Brut champagne for $52, which was reduced down to $26 by 50% off due to Friday 50% off on all wine bottles. The Decoy brut champagne was excellent. We also shared and enjoyed the crab dip for $21. We also shared and enjoyed three dozen raw oysters samplers for a total of $81. I also enjoyed my crispy duck confit special with pappardelle, basil pesto, fried onion and garlic chilli vinaigrette for $32. My total bill was $455 excluding gratuity. Morelia C. (nicknamed Mo) served us very well as usual despite us having two children. We first met Mo, when she bartended at the downstairs bar, when we were here prior for many Sunday afternoon happy hours. We returned here again with my larger family of 14 including five children for dinner on the Saturday after Christmas. We had a 5:30 PM dinner reservation. We were again seated immediately upstairs. I started with and enjoyed my two Makers Mark Manhattans up for $15 each. We also shared and enjoyed two dozen raw oysters samplers for $27 per dozen. We also ordered and enjoyed one dozen of the more expensive Raspberry Points for $48. Raspberry Point Oysters are premium, cold-water farmed oysters from Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada, prized for their firm meat, distinct briny flavor with a sweet finish, and deep cups, taking 5-7 years to mature in New London Bay's tidal waters. They're known for being easy to shuck and popular in gourmet settings due to their consistent quality and appealing salty-sweet profile. We also shared the calamari for $17 and the devilled eggs for $19. I also enjoyed my confit lamb shank for $38. Caleb M. served us very well despite us having five children. My total bill was $737 excluding gratuity. Caleb applied our Indian River High School band 10% discount to our bill, which reduced the total from $737 down to $663 excluding gratuity. On Sunday's our favorite bartender is Nick C. Nick said hello, when we visited during the Thanksgiving holiday. We will continue to return here with family and friends for happy hour, lunch or dinner.
