We have been to Fast Eddies a handful of times and have always had a good, if not great experience. Two weeks ago was a different story. We arrived around 6 on a Saturday night and the place is busy (it always is). We are greeted in an ok time, it took longer than ever before (and we've been there when it's been busier). The young lady greeted us, took our order and left. We ordered boneless wings, fries, crab cakes, and soup. She came back about 5 mins later and said they sold out of crab cakes. I get it's the off season, but there really is no off season at Fast Eddies. So we ordered something significantly cheaper from the menu. When the food came out, it was just ok. My boneless wings were way overdone and the crab burger was just ok. When the check came, it seemed to be a little high, like she never adjusted the pricing from the crab cake dinner. We never received the itemized receipt and after she dropped the slip to sign, we didn't see her again. So we just signed the receipt and left, as we had plans to get to. Great food and pub fare. We live in OC and food is more here but we don't care about price as long as a quality meal. Fast Eddies is both high quality and reasonable. Good drinks too. We came here for lunch on a Friday and there was no wait. We initially came here because we saw tacos on some Google reviews, but they did not have tacos when we went. Nevertheless, we stayed to try other dishes they offered that day. We ordered the shrimp & crab corn bisque, Nola shrimp, and smash burger with onion rings. The smash burger was solid and the onion rings were worth the extra charge. The Nola shrimp came with 4 large, juicy shrimps and bread, although, the sauce was bit on the saltier side. I loved their shrimp & crab corn bisque which was nice and creamy. My friends ordered the po-boy and both agreed that it was quite salty. Ambiance was casual and service was good! read more

We stopped in with two toddlers on a Sunday night. The music inside the restaurant was a bit loud for the kiddos so we sat outside. The patio is nice and large with a ledge that was nice to utilize for the extra stuff that we didn't need for the table. Oddly enough they didn't give us a kids menu. I didn't think they had one until I asked and the waitress brought one over. The kids menu is small and is literally just the meal - no drinks. The kids also got glasses of ice water with no kids or straws. I'm not trying to be challenging here, but you have to know your audience. The food was decent. I had a chicken Caesar wrap. Husband had the cowboy burger. Kids didn't even touch the cheeseburger and fries but liked the Mac and cheese. Also to hire, fries are an up charge if you don't want potato chips. That seems to be a thing down here. Overall I think it was a 3.5 but since half stars aren't an option I'm rounding down to a 3. It was perfectly fine but not exciting or exceptional. read more

This is going to be my regular pit stop every time I come down to the beach from now on. Confession: I am a Marylander(30+ years) and I've never had an Orange Crush. Well, technically I still haven't because I had a passionfruit lemon one. I thought they were more like an Orange Julius until now. This flavor was so good, and potent. I don't know if I can ever try another flavor now! We came for happy hour, and lucky us! It's just around the corner from my friend's beach house! We both got an order of fish tacos and a flatbread to share. We didn't notice there were several varieties of flatbreads to choose from, but I think we scored with the best! The tomato and basil was cheesy and flavorful. It was crispy too. We will order that again. The grilled fish tacos (2 to an order) were also very good, but keep a napkin close by because the juice from the toppings will drip out. The fish was OK. Not my favorite fish taco out there, but at happy hour, the $9 price tag is a bargain. Probably what made the experience so great was our server, Amanda. Slow eddies has great food. But not great service. Smash burger was good. Good happy hour prices. Fries are $2 more w the burger. But $5 for the large starter nice for a one and done. Not sure we will back Ryan was our server and told us he had a late night. Maybe that was the reason for the poor service. I ordered a drink I didn't like and he took it and got me another. But charged me for both. Thought that was wrong. If I'm being charged for it regardless leave it at the table. We finally chased him down to ask for a check. Fast Eddies is a great spacious venue for live music, but it does get very busy especially at the bar which makes seating a premium. The service is awesome and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Food here is very good and both food and drink are fairly priced. They do have outdoor seating available but not it is not vey spacious. They are located as part of a strip mall so there is plenty of parking available. read more

Discovered Fast Eddies about 2 or more yrs. ago. We have always enjoyed the staff, music and food. I guess we have dined here over 25 times since our 1st visit and have always had great experiences. My wife and I dine out a lot and have always had a good time with servers from all types of dining whether it's Spain Wine Bar or Fox's Pizza. We are always gracious with our servers and expect same treatment. Don't know what happened tonight but bar tender seemed annoyed the minute we sat down. He was banging on the counters and ice chest with his fists and was very short with our interactions. When we were ready to order my wife let him know that she had a serious garlic allergy. This seemed to also annoy him. From this point on it was all we could do to get his attention. (The bar was less than 50% occupied). We would have stayed longer to listen to the music but we had enough of this. When we finally got the check he referred to us on the receipt as annoying. (Talk about projection). He also charged us for a beer I didn't order and charged my wife non happy hour price for second glass of wine. We were also charged more for tuna nachos than stated on menu. When I brought the mistakes to his attention he said "so what do you want me to do"? Ahhh I don't know, how about correct the mistakes. When I asked him why they referred to us as annoying on receipt he apologized and said only the kitchen was supposed to see that. Wow, that makes me feel better. Went there 8/17 for H/H. Sat at the bar , service was very good. My lady ordered 1/2 lp steamed shrimp which were "white" when given to her. Obviously frozen and not thoroughly thawed. I'll have to give Fast Eddie's a five star review. We found them on Yelp. Food and reviews looked good. They were 2 blocks away across the street from the condo. We popped over, and the place was packed. We heard some Led Zeppelin????? Could it be???? We walked in and the band was killin' it! I mean, I was jaw drop, impressed. We opted to eat outside however because even though I'm die hard, I can't sit there and eat and yell across the table like that. We enjoyed hearing it at a comfortable volume outside. What a great outside seating area!! The waitress was prob was prob 18, 19... she was swift and all smiles!!!! We enjoyed having her at our table. Service was 100%. She even suggested Birch Beer instead of the Root Beer I originally asked for. She was on it. The food was Great! We got garlic parm wings, crab dip with toasted bread roll. Crab and mushroom flat bread (Was Fantastic)!!! Lump crab covered the bread. We smelled it when she put it on the table. So good. We got basket of fried shrimp. (Shrimp were big and tasty!) Based on my daughter's recommendation, we choose to have dinner at Fast Eddie's Corner Bar and Grill . She was here a few weeks ago for Beach Week. Fast Eddie's is located at the end of a strip mall on Costal Highway. There is outdoor seating available along the side. Inside, there is a large bar area with small tables in the middle surrounded by large booths along the wall. There was a live band playing country music. We were seated in a booth with our own small TV on the wall. Our server, Josh, immediately greeted us and took our drink orders. We ordered the cheesesteak sandwich, blackened shrimp tacos, and 3 little pig flat bread. The food came out after a short wait. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I upgraded the chips that usually comes with cheesesteak to French fries for extra $2. My only complaint was that there is a $0.75-$2 extra charge for toppings that usually go on a cheesesteak sandwich such as onions, pickles, or hot peppers. Stuff that usually expect to come with cheesesteak. Common on guys, I'm already paying $18 for the cheesesteak and fries. At least you can throw in the pickles. read more

Newly (re)opened under new ownership (and new name). This is a great space--one of the best bars in town and the dining area has large, spacious booths and tables spaced with plenty of room to move around. Each booth has its own TV including a remote to choose your own channel. The bar area has live music starting in the afternoon most days. There is also limited outdoor seating. The two-page menu has a nice variety without being overwhelming. Appetizers include sautéed or steamed shrimp, a Cuban quesadilla, crab dip, Philly eggrolls, and a unique Asian take on a Mexican app staple: poke tuna nachos. The wings are excellent and are available in three sauces and three rubs. A couple soups and several salads are available-- each can be optionally topped with chicken breast, jerk chicken salad, shrimp, shrimp salad, crab, or thick-cut bacon. Entrees include the typical fish options, crab cakes, filet mignon, lobster & crab ravioli, and grilled chicken. They also offer four different shareable hot iron seafood skillets. There is a separate pub menu that includes some lighter fare, but it seems both menus are available in both parts of the restaurant, so those interested in tacos, wraps, burgers, cheesesteak, or even flatbread pizza won't be disappointed no matter where you sit. In addition to a decent selection of draft and bottled beer, Fast Eddie's has a great variety of unique specialty mixed drinks including a couple low-calorie options. Especially considering they've been open only a week, I was very impressed with both the food and service. Food arrived quickly, was well-plated, and staff was friendly and attentive. I was in town and looking for a place close by to my Airbnb. This one had stellar reviews and so I went. The inside is very nice and I can see that when it is packed in the summer it would be a great place to be with friends and hear music. The waitress was very attentive and helpful, which is always great. I would say the food was above average, but definitely did not rise to the reviews that I had read. Down at the shore for a weekend getaway with my lovely fiancé. We always try a few new places whenever we go somewhere and Fast Eddie's had good reviews on Yelp already, so away we went! Our server Paige (spelled like my granddaughter so if wrong sorry) was very friendly and helpful with ordering. Always a great start when your server seems to enjoy her work and makes you feel good about coming to a place. My lovely partner in crime went with the Crabby Burger and onion rings while I decided on a Cuban Quesadilla from the app menu and a Crabby Chesapeake flatbread. Cuban Quesadilla was awesome, just like the previous reviews stated. I think it is a great version of one of my favorite sandwiches. The Crabby Chesapeake flatbread was a hit for both of us. In all honesty, I only ordered it because my lovely lady couldn't choose between the Crabby Burger and the flatbread. I am very glad I did. Crispy flatbread and great sauce made it awesome. We both demolished the Crabby Burger and onion rings too. Burger was cooked perfectly and the crab dip was filled with crab and greatly complimented the burger without overpowering. Highly recommended like the flatbread and Cuban. Go crazy!! My lush of a fiancé also gives a big thumbs up for the Orange Creamsicle Crush. I saw a handful of those disappear too! I am ok with it though. Normally means a great night for me!! Also wanted to give a big shout out to the very helpful runners Angelina and Alyssa! Hope I spelled their names correctly! I can't believe I'm just finding this place ! I my wife and my friends went to see the "Schizophrenic Boogeymen " play . The band is a treat like none other if you want to hear The Doors , Steely Dan , Santana , The Beetles and on and on but the food was excellent .
