Luke warm French onion soup left my wife vomiting through the night (5/15). A real blot on our first time here in Ocean City. Avoid.

Atmosphere is great. Food is just ok bar food. The service was ok too. Had a really quiet waiter that we couldn't hear well.

Food was good service was great and outdoor seating was ok but the chairs were a tad uncomfortable but no biggie. I'd go back!

Came in about 5pm on a Friday of a busy weekend (air show weekend). Amazingly, we got a table on the boardwalk right away. Cocktails were very good - I loved the creamsicle concoctions. Food was good as well. We got a buffalo chicken salad, a crab dip with a pretzel, and shrimp tacos. I'm not sure it's the best food in Ocean City but it was darn good and perfect for sitting on the boardwalk. Service was friendly and efficient. My friends and I stopped in at brass balls saloon twice this past weekend. Both times we were seated promptly by a friendly hostess. This restaurant has multiple seating areas. They have a cute covered outside patio overlooking the boardwalk and beach, and also extensive bar seating and indoor booths. They offer an extensive food and drink menu. Their crushes were delicious. I loved my fish and chips, the filets were large and the batter was crispy. I'd skip out on the cheese fries as they are just their standard fries with shredded cheese on them. Our server was named dejan. We asked for waters twice and we never received them. It was also extremely hard to flag him down. Although the restaurant seemed busy we often saw him standing at the hostess station staring off into space. He checked in with us once then we never saw him again. The older man at the bar was helpful and our drinks came out quick while seated there. I'd recommend brass balls due to the great location and satisfactory food. The overall atmosphere was fun and our food came out hot and quick. read more

While cruising along the boardwalk on our two-person surrey bike, we took a break for a quick bite. This spot is a great stop toward the end of your ride, and the catchy name pairs well with a fun gift shop for OCMD souvenirs. We got seated right away with a perfect view of the water for people-watching. The servers were friendly and greeted us with smiles. I went with an egg white dish, fresh fruit, and a warm roll. My girlfriend's dish was bigger than expected, which worked out for me. The dense, warm biscuit made for an amazing egg sandwich. Had a good experience there tonight. The ambiance was exactly the same as Shenanigan's on the boardwalk...not as overpowering as a true bar, but not as peaceful as a true restaurant. And, just like Shenanigan's, the floor space is half-bar, half-restaurant. Food was good, beer was good, service was good. Really no negatives, but nothing that knocked my socks off, either. Visited OC this past weekend and wound up coming to BBS every single morning of the trip. It's your standard breakfast foods: omelettes, eggs, pancakes, etc. I enjoyed that the breakfast meals came with cantaloupe, too. -1 because they don't have iced coffee, and it's a bit annoying repeatedly asking for ice. Service was hit or miss. Had a great waitress, Juddy, the first morning. She was on the ball, very intuitive, refilled coffee and brought new ice without asking, brought takeout boxes and bags; we were truly a PITA asking for things, and she was just a pro A+. The third morning we were ignored virtually the entire time by our waiter. I don't recall his name, but he kinda resembled Ron Weasley. We had to get other employees and even a bus boy to track him down because he would just consistently disappear in 10 minute increments. He came around at the end of the meal asking if we "needed anything now" in a very bored tone. He really did not care we were there at all, and was completely uninterested in handling our table. Out of all the restaurants I went to during my weekend stay this was my least favorite. I went with a relatively large party and the restaurant was busy so I was pretty surprised by how fast everyone's food was coming outs. Time passed and my order never came out. My waitress assured me after everyone received their food that mine was on the way. Once another 20 minutes passed she finally worked up the courage to tell me she completely forgot to put in my order and it's just extremely difficult to not be frustrated in situations like this that could've been avoided. To make matters worse once my food arrived I personally didn't like it. During my wait I had a bite of my girlfriend's po boy and it honestly was one of the best I've ever had. Ocean City Classic Looking for places to have a drink on the boardwalk, stumbled upon Brass Balls Saloon. Despite the name, this place actually seemed somewhat family friendly and the service was pretty good, although it did take a bit to take our drink orders due to the fact they were training a new employee while we waited to place them. There is an outdoor seating area and a large restaurant style indoor area as well with a long bar. We also had trouble choosing our drink as they have an extensive frozen drink selection (orange crushes, etc), my wife got a strawberry and basil drink which she said was delicious. Our hotel was next door and we ate here for breakfast three times during our stay. Couldn't recommend them enough! The breakfast options are filling and a great value for the price. Staff is quick and attentive. Their outdoor seating is comfortable and covered with umbrellas to provide shade from the sun. There is a gift shop with lots of great souvenir options. read more

It's definitely a "no frills" spot, but they have an extensive menu (both food and drinks), as well as some fun merch to purchase next door.
