    Cozy table in corner

This was a very nice place cozy seating, and good serving. Portions were great and happy hour was cheap. Service was great here with nobody nagging you or anything. The food was good too.

I was in town for a business trip and decided to stop in here for the happy hour -- largely because they advertised some specials that looked tasty. Parking wasn't too bad since it was off-season but I can imagine in season it's probably a challenge. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of the hotel. I was greeted and seated quickly, with a nice partial view of the ocean. I decided to try the local clam selection -- they had two kinds + a special on from Connecticut. I got one of each and enjoyed all of them - they were fresh and tasty. One of the local ones was particularly salty so it was my least favorite, but all of them were good. Then I got the she-crab soup, and O. M. G! This was perhaps the BEST she-crab soup I have ever had in my life. Bursting with crab meat, perfect blend of spices and sherry. The only thing I would have changed is maybe upping the game with some oyster crackers -- they served it with those regular Keebler saltine cracker sides, which was okay, but elevating the cracker game just a bit would make a world of difference. I was only going to get a cup, but the happy hour price for the bowl is the same, so I had extra to take with me and eat later. I took a look at the dinner menu - and it seemed a bit too pricey for me, and I have trouble with super large portions of food, which is why I wanted to try out the happy hour. I was not disappointed and if I'm every in Ocean City again, I will be coming back for that soup!

Food: very good Service: very good Ambience: its ok Actually when we come in ambience made us a bit down. But no, it was ok, locals also coming to the place! That mean is pretty good place! We like the Barb who served us. She was, kind, fast and helpful... And there is a car parking which is veeeerry important for this season!

Located in the Doubletree by Hilton on the 2nd floor Marlin Moon is worth a visit! We started with the Calamari served with creamy pesto and marinara sauce and 1/2 dozen oysters . Both apps were presented and plated beautifully with impeccable service from Amalia and Nick. The calamari was both tender and delicious and the oysters were briny and salty! I had the Pittsburgh salad and the rib eye had so much flavor and was cooked perfectly, The caramelized onions , blue cheese crumble, and french fries made this salad. I love a salad with each bite giving some kind of surprising combination of flavor. The creamy vinaigrette spiked with A-1 so complimented the salad. My friend got a " Po Boy " with hand breaded shrimp with Cajun remoulade, she said the sandwich was good! Hammerhead on tap from Oyster Brewery so good! Surprised with negative reviews on Yelp the food was delicious and service was over the top!

Roasted beet salad--red & yellow beets, herb pesto, micro greens, goat cheese, candied pecans

Excellent meal, freshly prepared & served quickly. Intimate setting w/outdoor deck seating w/side ocean view. Mocktail & cocktail were beautifully accented & so flavorful. Shrimp were succulent & meaty, scallops tender & moist w/tasty sauce--this app we shared. Crab soup delish (for him). I had sesame tuna wontons--perfectly rare tuna & savory/spicy sauces w/crispy wontons. Garden side salad was so fresh--Bleu cheese crumbles elevated flavor profile along w/tangy, sweet honey-mustard dressing. He had roasted beet salad--beets were so sweet & tender, nice micro greens w/goat cheese crumbles & candied pecans (perfect pairing of savory & sweet). I had my bumbleberry pie to go; it was flavorful, however, the crust was too soft. I tasted his French silk pie & that was a disappointment--more like a fudge concoction straight out of the fridge--not true French Silk. Hostess & servers were very attentive--made sure we made it out in time for our theater show @ OC Performing Arts Ctr. This is my 2nd visit to this restaurant & I definitely plan to revisit whenever I'm back at the beach!

The portion sizes were huge and the food my group ordered was all very well seasoned and flavorful. My omelet was gigantic! But the food took a long time to come out, and the restaurant was very understaffed for a busy holiday week. We wanted to leave but couldn't because there was only one waitress doing everything.

This was a cute restaurant on the second floor of a Double Tree hotel. There is dedicated parking for the restaurant so easy parking even if you're not staying there. Our server was friendly and was reachable whenever we needed something and also helped us with our questions on the menu. We came here for dinner to celebrate a special family occasion and had a good time. The food was a tad pricey for the portions but maybe I was extra hungry. Everything did taste good - particularly the lobster!

Food was very good came out pretty quickly. We had the crab cake and she crab soup. Both were very good we will make a point to stay and eat here again.

Ambiance is beach comfort. The Pittsburgh salad was great! Seafood pasta was excellent. My husband was not impressed with his steak it was cooked to perfection and beautifully plated with perfectly cooked asparagus and yummy creamy garlic mashed potatoes but the steak lacked seasoning. Service was and bottle of Red Zinfandel were exceptional.

The food that we got was really delicious - the banging shrimp was tasty... the fried calamari was good too! I enjoyed my shrimp tacos! Pricing wasn't bad either! Conveniently located in double tree by Hilton

Pretty cool alternative place with a cool "punk" beach vibe. Staff polite and very nice. We ordered sodas for the kids and got ourselves 2 cocktails, one mule and another one with gin (they were ok, a little too sweet, needed a little more balance (the only thing that needed work honestly). I been craving a "lobster roll" and I ordered one - and I'm glad I did - they did not went light on lobster let me tell you. Very well served portion and the flavor was off the charts. I split this with my wife and still managed to "steal" some fries from my kids lol. Crab cake was well cooked and very good too and the chicken tacos were interesting with the Doritos smashed all over them, different, and my oldest kid ate everything! In the end, very glad we stopped by and decided to come here. Would deff come back!

I ordered a drink and pondered the menu while watching what my neighbors ordered. The tacos were indeed on corn tortillas (by request according to our server on our second visit). The shrimp boil looked excellent although the couple next to me preferred the aguachile version. We missed happy hour both times, which was disappointing because I paid $12 for the same sangria that is half that price before five pm. No worries, it was delicious either way. The sangria came half full in an extra large glass because they were out of normal glasses. It's garnished with a sprig of rosemary and an orange wedge. I settled on the Blitzkreig Bibimbap bowl, a fabulous creation with a perfect steak over basmati rice garnished with avocado, seaweed salad, kimchee and a fried egg with spicy sauce. WOW I loved this dish. Tried to recreate it at a mongolian bbq later and missed by a mile. Shotti's Point has a varied menu and seems to do a stellar job on ALL OF IT. Ordered a Old Pro Chicken wrap for husband to go, he was back at the vacation rental while my exercise walk ended up at the bar. He had to eat it twice to finish the wrap so it was large, but alas I did not secure a photo. He saved his side (a literal bag of doritos). They got the "avocado on the side" part correct and left the chili sauce on the side too. He thought the shaved egg was an odd addition to this wrap but otherwise it was good. On a second visit together, he ordered a pepperoni mushroom pizza while I had the El Guapo tacos. No drinks, as we had been to Seacrets that day for a distillery tour and needed to hydrate! The pizza was a beautiful creation, lightly charred crust and hunks of fresh burrata dotted with curled up pepperoni cups. The tacos were delicious, but it was not the blackened chicken that made my nose run it was the bangkok chili sauce! Topped with a bit of lettuce and cabbage, the chicken seemed a little dry. Requested and received a side of the most delicious salsa, so then I was very happy. The corn tortillas were dry, could have used more time on the griddle with a little oil. They lost structural integrity long before being fully consumed. This was a quick visit at the bar for our meals since there were two seats immediately available. The place was packed at 7pm on a Thursday, a testament to the quality of their food. It was loud and fun, but we ate and ran (with no argument from our bartender). I did enjoy sitting by the pizza prep station and watching the artists at work. Smile.

We were set on getting the salmon and the swordfish dishes which we did, and it did not disappoint! They were the most delicious dishes I had experienced in a long time. I asked about the seasoning on the salmon and the waitress, who was fabulous, said it was Moroccan. I loved the hint of cinnamon but according to the Moroccan spice I looked at on the web, it is a combination of numerous spices which amounts to a delicious combination of flavors. Both dishes were paired perfectly with their sides and sauces. I have never left a review about a restaurant before. This will be one of my few unforgettable meals. If dining inside, bring a sweater. They don't skimp on their air-conditioning. It was a cool night so we ate outside which was nice, but what made it nicer was our wonderful waitress, Fanika(?), who had the most awesome, helpful, outgoing personality that makes a dining experience that much better. And she was right about the coconut espresso martini. It was delicious! She also mentioned that the menus are seasonal so I am looking forward to returning to Hooked when I'm back in OC and trying other meals. I'm hooked!!

Our main motivation for visiting was to see Jordan and Cowan, both of whom previously worked at Off The Hook in Bethany Beach. Jordan noticed us first and came over to say hello and share an update, and Cowan followed shortly after to do the same. I enjoyed two Sazeracs on the rocks for $10 each; unique to Hooked, this iconic New Orleans cocktail is a spirit-forward blend of Elijah Craig rye whiskey, aromatic bitters, a sugar cube, and an absinthe rinse, finished with a bright lemon twist. We also shared the happy hour wood-fired grilled oysters Reggiano with butter, garlic, blackening parmesan cheese, and salt for $19, though they tasted very salty. Additionally, I had the happy hour lobster roll on a toasted buttered brioche roll for $21, substituting the french fries with a side of coleslaw. It tasted quite similar to the lobster roll at Off The Hook in Bethany Beach. I finished my meal with a happy hour draft Evo Lot 3 beer for $6. Our bartender, Jon L., served us very well throughout the visit. The total bill was $128 excluding gratuity, which featured a 3% credit card surcharge of $3.57. After applying a $50 gift letter discount, the final bill was reduced down to $81. We all agreed that we will certainly return to visit Jordan and Cowan again.

We ordered the seafood combo that included six hard-shell crabs, three pounds of snow crab legs, a half-pound of shrimp, corn, and hush puppies. The hard-shell crabs were decent, although they seemed slightly oversteamed. The meat in the legs was practically fused to the shell, making them difficult to eat. The snow crab legs were good, but the shrimp were noticeably undercooked, which made peeling them nearly impossible. There were a few bright spots. The beer was reasonably priced at $4.50 a pint, and the hush puppies were excellent--arguably the best part of the entire meal. The corn, however, was tough and seemed past its prime. For the roughly $145 we spent on the combo, I expected a better overall dining experience. Sadly, this seems to be the standard at many seafood restaurants these days: higher prices without a corresponding increase in quality. And while it's a minor issue compared to the food, the deck seating chairs were surprisingly uncomfortable and felt out of place for a restaurant charging these prices. Overall, the meal wasn't terrible, but it fell well short of expectations given the cost.
