Well what a very nice restaurant. Get dressed, plan a date, and dine in with some amazing views of the ocean and exclusive seating. Going to give David B and Scott Jones some flowers for the wonderful execution of their positions. David has the experience and knowledge to run any restaurant with an intuitive understanding of the customers. I suspect David has the skill set comparable to a Swiss utility knife. Scott Jones is for sure a closer and demonstrates good leadership and trust in his team while ensuring the right people are in place. Scott is definitely well travel and understands the value of engaging in conversation with his customers. The pairing of these two gentlemen was spot on and will serve the new restaurant very well. Kudos to one of the chefs who stopped by the table to engage in conversation and the see how things were going. The food and ambiance were indeed luxurious. It wasn't presented in a layered course meal or offered wine pairing but the quality and playing were exceptional. The braised pork belly was tender , savory, and well seasoned. Smart to have the baguette on the side to capture the Au jus from the dish . The lemon prawns were so fresh, juicy, and paired well with the lemon sauce. Lastly, the star of the show red snapper . Deep fried to perfection and seasoned to the threshold limit of saltiness. The potatoes and mango salsa complimented the dish. The chef did their thing with this. Overall for literally the new restaurant on the block of 7 months, today's experience lands them at 4.8 of 5.

Amazing service, fabulous food, kind staff, beautiful restaurant and awesome views! We came here for our last night of vacation and it did not disappoint! The deviled eggs were fabulous, the crab cakes were amazing as was the snapper. And the rum cake was the perfect way to end the meal! Can't wait to come back.

The food was top notch. Crab cakes were all crab, no filler. Seafood was delicious. The drinks were outstanding. The ambiance was a Miami beach vibe. This place is five stars! The service was the best in OC. This will now be our "go to" spot in OC.

A hidden gem--we visited during their soft opening and weren't disappointed. I love the decor--the serene/calming colors make it stylish (didn't feel like I was in OCMD). You can sit inside with a nice view of the water or outside (if you like an open feel). We ordered the Caesar Salad, Orange Crush, Crab Cake (no fillers/family recipe), Old Bay Fries, and their Housemade Bread. All was absolutely delicious and flavorful. Service was on point, and he was very attentive. The owners and chef came to check on how things were going--loved that. The floor manager was very nice and personable. The couple beside us had the fried snapper, and we overheard how good it was. We will definitely order it on our next visit. It's fine dining... Hours are 4 - 11pm. Reservation is recommended.

Three of us visited the Hideaway at Seacrets last night 7/4. Here's my review: Looked on the Resy app and didn't see any reservations available for the night so we added to the waitlist via the Resy app. Waitlist said 15 minutes. We got there at 7pm and just few people sitting at the bar however they said they don't do a waitlist so the app must of been an error? They couldn't sit us at a table bc all were "booked". so we sat at the bar- the views of the bay at sunset were incredible. The wait staff seemed unorganized, they couldn't remember who placed our order and if we had ordered drinks. We got the bread, Caesar salad, crab soup (Disappointing bc hardly had crab), seafood risotto $52, chicken molodino $26, and crab cakes $46. The food was just average- I wish it was a little bit better bc the view and ambiance was great. Prices are high for the quality. By the time we left at 830, there were still majority tables unoccupied so makes no sense why we couldn't have a table. There's better places to go in OCMD, likely wouldn't go back to the Hideaway.

We were super excited to try Hideaway! Super modern, beachy, and elevated without trying too hard. Loved the vibe. Service was super friendly and on point, and the cocktails were both stunning and tasty. We had the crabcake and the snapper; both were so good, fresh and flavorful without being overdone. It's the kind of place that feels special but still laid-back. Already planning our next visit!

    The Infamous Floating Cabanas

8/18/25 We had a great time our server was fantastic. However the manager Lou needs a refresher on managerial skills. We were told by the staff we could use the floating cabanas for drinks after our meal. We gladly finished our meal and continued with our drinks to occupy one of the 4 floating cabanas. Apparently this was incorrect. You need a reservation and $200 for 3 hours which is fine. That would not have been an issue. However, "Lou" could have been more professional. He sent one of the new staff to inform us that we had to leave. No explanation. Ok no problem but we had no idea what was going on and why we're being singled out while all the other floating cabanas were being used as well. Not only did he not approach us to explain what was going on. He was on the beach flailing his arms around motioning for us to leave. We actually thought we got kicked out of Secrets altogether. We had no idea what we did wrong nor did the other patrons around us. To our embarrassment and humiliation everyone was asking why we were being kicked out. All we could say was we have no idea what's going or what we did wrong. Needless to say... not a very good ending to fantastic meal. I did approach Lou and asked what happened and he explained that it because of the reservation fee. Why couldn't he have just approached us or have the situation explained. He did apologize after we explained the embarrassment caused to us and offered to buy us a drink but that was not our intention. We respectfully declined. As we were leaving the premises we noticed that all the cabanas were now empty. Hopefully they were handled a little better than we were. Definitely disappointed, I thought this was an establishment we could frequent while on vacation. SMH.

Fried green tomatoes. Very nice enough for two.

The main bar was not crowded when we first arrived so we easily scored two bar stools with backs overlooking the south side of the bar. The bar started to fill up after 4 PM. A guy with a guitar sang some songs as per last time. The views of the Atlantic ocean and the bay are great from the Vista rooftop bar and restaurant. . They now offer many flavors of margaritas. Before we left the bar, all high tops were full with customers including customers who were waiting for our bar stools. Some customers seized the high tops, while some went to the secondary bar. A second bartender was called in when the bar became very busy. I opted for my three strawberry margaritas with salted rims for $8 each. I also enjoyed my Tsunami Wontons with Atlantic lobster, jumbo lump crab, avocado, pico de gallo, and wasabi and red pepper coulis for $20. The happy hour menu is different from when we last visited. Bartender Mark served both of us very well. My friend and I split our bill in half. My share of our bill was $49 including a 3% credit card surcharge, but excluding gratuity. We agreed we will return here again for happy hour.

I started with two soups - jerk chicken and rice soup and the cream of crab. The chicken was good and had long rice with plenty of spices but the soup came out very lukewarm. Granted I don't need it piping but it was somewhat concerning. Also - the chicken was a tenderloin rather than shredded or chopped which was kind of hard to negotiate with a spoon. The cream of crab continues to cement its place as the top 2 cream of crab soups in and around OC. I went with the longboard burger as my meal - served with pasta salad. Really like the pasta salad as a side being different. The burger was pretty skimpy on the special sauce that came with it, but I asked for a side of bleu cheese which was good. The bartender who served us was a younger guy with a beard and longer hair - very friendly and attentive to everyone. Again - nice chill vibe here - cool little built-in market area and a cool design.

Longboard Café is a convenient and lovely stop just across the main bridge into Ocean City. There's plenty of parking in the shopping center lot, plus indoor seating and a covered outdoor patio. It's a very pet-friendly, cozy place. Our server was attentive from start to finish. Rex got a bowl of water, some bacon, and even a cute bandana. That was before he managed to score a few bites of our burgers... because they're pretty big! I had the jerk mahi-mahi tacos. It was a good lunch portion. The fish was cooked a bit longer than I'd like, but it was still enjoyable. The crab cake burger was savory and delicious! The pasta salad, which is offered as a side with many of the entrees, was also excellent. Loaded with herbs, capers, and simply full of flavor. Two other burgers at our table (the Longboard Burger and the Bacon Burger) were also thoroughly enjoyed. I almost forgot... the beverages were great too. The classic margarita was awesome. Good ingredients, that splash of Grand Marnier, and not overly sweet. You might want a second... My kids had the Cosmockpolitan and the Strawberry Lemonade Crush. Both were refreshing and disappeared quickly. Between the friendly service, the good food, the excellent drinks, and the VIP treatment for Rex, we left very happy. We'll definitely be back.

We arrived right around 1:30pm on a nice (but breezy), sunny Saturday. Since it was a bit windy we decided to sit at Teaser's outdoor bar instead of out on the deck. We had our choice of bar seats on all 4 sides of the bar but the bar quickly filled up not long after. We chose the back side of the bar looking out at the marina which happened to be right by the orange squeezer which was a great move. The bartender, Kate (I believe), made many, many crushes while we were there. It's so nice seeing Orange Crushes made with fresh squeezed OJ. Kate was a pleasure to interact with and she made so many great recommendations (Spicy Mango Crush, Baltimore Club, Mediterranean Grain Bowl). We started with crushes of course, two Orange Crushes and a Grapefruit Crush. I then switched to a Spicy Mango Crush with a Tajin rim and I may have liked that better than the Grapefruit crush. My dad enjoyed my Spicy Mango Crush so much he ordered one for himself. My mom also switched it up and ordered an Espresso Martini which was a little disappointing to say the least. Per one of Kate's suggestions, I got the Baltimore Club which is a crabcake sandwich with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and shrimp salad served on an everything bun. The crabcake itself was really, really good and combined with all of the other toppings/fixin's I think this is a must order for me next time I'm here. My mom got the Applewood Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich and my dad got the Sunset Burger. All sandwiches are served with fries, slaw, or Mediterranean Salad. Everything was so good that we decided to come back the next day for lunch again. I ended up getting the Sunset Burger and my parents both ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Kate made another great recommendation as we all decided to go with the Mediterranean Salad as our side and it didn't disappoint. It was light, bright, refreshing, and citrusy. We've been coming to the area now from Jersey for years and have always had good experiences at Sunset Grille. The atmosphere is always great being right on the water but the food and service over these two days may have been the best yet. We will be back in June and will definitely be dining at Sunset Grille Marina.
