Ocean 13 was okay. The service seemed slightly rushed although we came at 3:30 and the restaurant was pretty empty. The restaurant in general was beautiful with octopuses themed art everywhere. Orange Crushes were okay, they claimed they use fresh pressed fruit but it didn't taste that way. Looks like there would be a lot of entertainment but barely anything was on. We ordered the Zuppa 13 which is a version of Zuppa Toscana with shrimp. Our family agreed that it was DELICIOUS. We also got the fried pickles which were nothing special. Prices were fine for it being happy hour. Shellby, our waitress was quite lovely and brought our food out very quickly. Would recommend!!!!

Just went back 2nd Summer in a row. Amazing again. This place is legit and had lots of gluten free options for my wife.

New fav place in OC! My mom, fiancé, and I tried this place out over the summer. Our waitress, Alexandra, was so kind and provided recommendations as it was our first visit. We started off with the crab dip which was SO good. One of the best in OC. For entrees, we each ordered a different burger variety. I got the big dill burger minus onions. The sauce was a bit too spicy for me but I loved everything else about the burger! My fiancé had the shorebilly burger and it was piled high with all the toppings. My mom ordered a BYO smashburger and enjoyed it. The burgers came with house made chips and they were addicting!! I wish we had room for dessert because the table next to us was devouring a cookie skillet that looked amazing. Will def be back for it!

I dont' often give 5 stars but I have been coming here multiple times over the past year and the place is unbelievable. It doesn't matter if you're only getting drinks, step up to a burger or go for the big dog , the Tomahawk Steak which is the best I have had in the entire country. Jacob is an awesome mixologist and the personality of the whole place. Come enjoy this spot with confidence.

Wow! Would have walked by 100 times and probably never thought to stop in. It sits above street level just off the side of the LaQuinta Inn, think it might actually connect to it. We found it through a recommendation. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere inside was not what I expected. Live music, cool bar, upstairs seating, loved it[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. They great you with homemade chips and dip which are awesome! I got a burger with crab dip and it was amazing! We split a whole bunch of apps, 10 people, sonic was hard to track, but everything was excellent. The one flatbread, I think crab, was so good...had a little kick, so if you're not a spicy person, maybe go different route, but I loved it. I cannot wait to return on our vacation next year. Great little hidden gem.

Great little spot in ocean city!! The pina colada and Moscow mule were great to start along with the crab drip. We all devoured the bread bowl it came in and I liked adding a little hot sauce too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It wasn't too crowded in there and the waiter was nice![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The surf n turf came a bit too rare for my liking, but overall a good experience!

This place is absolutely lovely. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance, lighting, are relaxing (especially after a busy day at the beach).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We sat at the bar, and the bartenders were professional and made us feel like we were at home. The food was DELICIOUS. I got the crab dip, and my friends got the Chesapeake pizza and crab cakes. There is an elevator to the restaurant in the LaQuinta and plenty of parking around the street. Highly recommend this place and its team!

10/10. Food, drinks, and service were all great. We've ate at multiple places here in Ocean City and this was by far the best!

PROs - live music , location , ambience , bar CONs - service could be better We were staying in La Quinta and this place was a part of the same hotel . Such an awesome restaurant within la Quinta . Dropped our kids in the room and stepped out late . There is an entrance right from la Quinta lobby to this place . The interiors were just beautiful . There are also place outdoors to sit and eat . They had a full fledged bar . Beer varieties were good . Not much of IPA options though . Best thing was LIVE music ! Wow . Sounded so good . Ambience was spectacular . Had some finger food and quick ones . Service could be better at the bar . Still loved this place and had a good time .

    Chesepeake flatbread
    Debbie B.

Ocean 13 was convenient for us since we stayed at La Quinta but I was expecting more with the reviews it had. They gave us a basket of some sort of chips to start but they were all pretty crunched up- hard to eat. My husband and I ordered the orange crushes for drinks and they were below average- very watery. The happy hour menu was a great deal, and the ambiance was nice- we sat outside with our kids and the service was very fast and friendly. I had the Chesepeake flatbread (crab and shrimp with a Cajun style sauce drizzled on top) and it was good- not a ton of crab or shrimp but it was tasty. Their flattop grill wasn't working so no burgers were being served- not sure if I'd try this place again but it wasn't a bad spot for a quick bite!

One of the great things about the wait is that the restaurant is butt up against a surf shop full of curiosities. I wound up purchasing my daughter the sweetest little bracelet with a ceramic goldfish charm. That made the wait time fly by, and before we knew it, we were getting called to a table in back. We were promptly seated and given a drink menu with many options. We were seated in an open air spot on the water at a pub table. The menu is diverse with many options for different tastes. We ordered the fries to share as an appetizer. It was an insane portion of hand cut potatoes loaded with all of the toppings indicated on the menu. Three of us decided to split two pizzas and an order of wings for dinner, and the other ordered sandwich. The food came out, piping hot, and it was delicious. The prices are reasonable, and the parking is easily accessible. Do not go to OC without checking out this cool spot.

Now, 50 years later, Phillips is gone and many establishments advertise their Crabs as the best in OC. Having not been here since 2012, I need to scour the reviews to find where we could get the best take out seafood especially Maryland Crabs. Lo and behold, just steps away from our Courtyard Marriott is the Crab Stop. It's before season so many places are still closed but the Owner answered when I called, had a great sense of humor, and happily took my order for a designated pick up time. We arrived 10 minutes early and they had just completed the order, packed it up, and we were out the door in minutes. This is a Father/Son establishment. Dave (?) the Father is 85 and his son Tom (?) run this fine eatery. It's built for take out and there is no disappointment. We ordered 6 large crabs, 1# of Lump Crab and 2 ears of corn. Within minutes our table was covered with crab, crab shells, Old Bay, and we savored every minute of the delicious fresh sweet crab meat. Look no further than Crab Stop to enjoy the best crabs that OC has to offer and the friendliness and service of these two gentlemen.

We were set on getting the salmon and the swordfish dishes which we did, and it did not disappoint! They were the most delicious dishes I had experienced in a long time. I asked about the seasoning on the salmon and the waitress, who was fabulous, said it was Moroccan. I loved the hint of cinnamon but according to the Moroccan spice I looked at on the web, it is a combination of numerous spices which amounts to a delicious combination of flavors. Both dishes were paired perfectly with their sides and sauces. I have never left a review about a restaurant before. This will be one of my few unforgettable meals. If dining inside, bring a sweater. Not much has changed with the ambiance - bar atmosphere, with each time there being a live music act when we came in to eat. As a party of 10 the last two years (a yearly trip) we were sat in front of the music. Not my favorite place as it's hard to have a conversation but the music was good. We had a younger waiter take care of us - we put in some drinks - I ordered a blackberry bourbon tea. It wasn't very sweet or flavorful. Almost like it was watered down. Meh. We put in several apps to start our meal: crab pierogis, cheesesteak egg rolls and crab dip. The crab pierogis sounded good - but the sauce on them or around them was watery. Another person in our party got the crab corn chowder- it was watery. Chowders are thicker, not thin. The cheesesteak egg rolls were good - had a nice flavor to them. The crab dip was very very flavorful - maybe one of the best on the island I have had. For my meal I ordered the Baltimore bird which is fried chicken topped with crab dip. It was a HUGE piece of chicken and looked great -- then I took a bite. The chick was raw inside. Hoping it was just a part of the breast I bit into another part - middle chicken was pink and raw. What makes matters even worse was the Heinz ketchup bottle on the table - billed as a Pittsburgh bar - did not have Heinz in it. Ketchup was way too sweet - definitely off brand. We shared desserts as a table - the brownie Ala mode and the tower brownie cheesecake. Both were.. well small. Good taste but, limited. Again - just ok overall.

We ordered the seafood combo that included six hard-shell crabs, three pounds of snow crab legs, a half-pound of shrimp, corn, and hush puppies. The hard-shell crabs were decent, although they seemed slightly oversteamed. The meat in the legs was practically fused to the shell, making them difficult to eat. The snow crab legs were good, but the shrimp were noticeably undercooked, which made peeling them nearly impossible. There were a few bright spots. The beer was reasonably priced at $4.50 a pint, and the hush puppies were excellent--arguably the best part of the entire meal. The corn, however, was tough and seemed past its prime. For the roughly $145 we spent on the combo, I expected a better overall dining experience. Sadly, this seems to be the standard at many seafood restaurants these days: higher prices without a corresponding increase in quality. And while it's a minor issue compared to the food, the deck seating chairs were surprisingly uncomfortable and felt out of place for a restaurant charging these prices. Overall, the meal wasn't terrible, but it fell well short of expectations given the cost.
