New fav place in OC! My mom, fiancé, and I tried this place out over the summer. Our waitress, Alexandra, was so kind and provided recommendations as it was our first visit. We started off with the crab dip which was SO good. One of the best in OC. For entrees, we each ordered a different burger variety. I got the big dill burger minus onions. The sauce was a bit too spicy for me but I loved everything else about the burger! My fiancé had the shorebilly burger and it was piled high with all the toppings. My mom ordered a BYO smashburger and enjoyed it. The burgers came with house made chips and they were addicting!! I wish we had room for dessert because the table next to us was devouring a cookie skillet that looked amazing. Will def be back for it! read more

Wow! Would have walked by 100 times and probably never thought to stop in. It sits above street level just off the side of the LaQuinta Inn, think it might actually connect to it. We found it through a recommendation. Atmosphere inside was not what I expected. Live music, cool bar, upstairs seating, loved it. They great you with homemade chips and dip which are awesome! I got a burger with crab dip and it was amazing! We split a whole bunch of apps, 10 people, sonic was hard to track, but everything was excellent. The one flatbread, I think crab, was so good...had a little kick, so if you're not a spicy person, maybe go different route, but I loved it. I cannot wait to return on our vacation next year. This place is absolutely lovely. The ambiance, lighting, are relaxing (especially after a busy day at the beach). We sat at the bar, and the bartenders were professional and made us feel like we were at home. The food was DELICIOUS. I got the crab dip, and my friends got the Chesapeake pizza and crab cakes. Ocean 13 was convenient for us since we stayed at La Quinta but I was expecting more with the reviews it had. They gave us a basket of some sort of chips to start but they were all pretty crunched up- hard to eat. My husband and I ordered the orange crushes for drinks and they were below average- very watery. The happy hour menu was a great deal, and the ambiance was nice- we sat outside with our kids and the service was very fast and friendly. I had the Chesepeake flatbread (crab and shrimp with a Cajun style sauce drizzled on top) and it was good- not a ton of crab or shrimp but it was tasty. Their flattop grill wasn't working so no burgers were being served- not sure if I'd try this place again but it wasn't a bad spot for a quick bite! read more

A few key points to take away with this restaurant This place is worth a try for sure with a few easy adjustments I would imagine could assist them greatly. On their website you can make a reservation but unable to do so the same day; alternatively they do welcome larger parties. Their menu is not large, but they have options. The apps are pretty solid - we all liked the crab dip and the crab guacamole. Only issue was, even with our server Amanda doing her best with all the tables - the apps came out 50 minutes later. That I feel can be remedied easily. The environment/ temperature was different? Like, was concerned that there was spotty air conditioning? Drinks were condensation everywhere. Our orders were as follows: grilled cheese, mac daddy, bbq flatbread, crab flat bread, burrata, crab cake sandwich and chicken Alfredo. I personally got the crab cake sandwich and I liked it very much. The chips were SALTY LIKE TEN NOTCHES and I like salty chips so I'm not a salt weirdo. But phew.... They serve a good amount of drinks so there should be many options. We liked the high noon pineapple. So the largest two issues would be parking could be very tough and second and most important the bbq pizza came out wayyyy late. They did make it right and let us to a free cookie skillet dessert which was the best thing! Additionally - very clean bathrooms and nice staff who were checking in on how everything was. The restaurant is attached to La Quinta Hotel. Due to hotel renovations, we took the stairs. The place was welcoming and you could see the water from the window where we sat. We came here for dinner and the servers were accommodating and nice. We ordered the crab cakes, honey old bay wings, and the crab dip. The best part was the wings. The crab dip had too much filler and way too much cream cheese. I preferred the bread over the chips with the dip. We had to add a little old bay to offset the cream cheese tang. The crab cakes were also with a lot of filler. It was decent but we've had better. Overall we will be back especially in season to see if there are any changes with the menu. read more

The food here was over all ok. Nothing that would bring me back. The best thing on the menu was the burgers which is what I got. I was with a large party (10+ people). So we ordered several things. The drinks weren't well made. The "sangria" looked and tasted like watered down cranberry juice. My friend got an old fashioned that tasted cider-like. I kept it simple with Tanqueray and tonic... For food we ordered quite a few things- Fries.. Not the best. Not crispy Calamari... Dry Crab dip.. Didn't see any crab and it was salty Chesapeake Flatbread.. It was just ok. We are OC regulars but this is the first time at Oceans 13. Amazing ! Service was great . We sat out on the patio with our two children . Got to enjoy the happy hour menu which was on point. We were in Ocean City and saw this restaurant while walking on the avenue one day. First time in OC so didn't know anything about it. We were pleasantly surprised! We were greeted by friendly staff even though busy, as it was happy hour, we were seated right away upstairs. The waitress, (Tenijah) was great! She had a nice smile and a great personality. Although she was only employed there a short time, you would never had known it, as she was very attentive the whole time we were there. I was very excited to find a seafood restaurant after Philips closed. My husband and I had a wonderful time down at the boardwalk and thought we would end it with a great seafood steak dinner. This place had good reviews. My husband ordered the New York Strip med rare and I ordered the crab cake dinner. The steak fell short as it had a very bizarre sauce over it which did not taste good at all. My crab cakes had quite a bit of filler in it and was also nothing to rant about. Everything was not even so so it was just bad. My husband out of politeness accepted a to go box but then purposely left it but the server came after us and said you forgot your meal! Darn, we were trying to leave it cause it was not worth taking home. I hate to say it but we threw it in the nearest trash can. The only fun part our dining experience is the guy who goes around and snaps pictures of the diners and then you can buy the picture off of him. Ours turned out nice. OH EMM GGEEE This was cooked to perfection! I haven't had one like this and will now be ruined if I try any others. It has the right amount of spice mixed in and that creamy cheesey ooey gooey goodness with crab meat throughout the entire dish. Don't forget the texture on top!! She projected her voice extraordinarily well and was very pleasant to one and all. (She's my new favorite server anywhere.) As we're a fairly large group (10 full size people) and the room we were seated in worked well - not loud, not embarrassingly quiet. My only suggestion for the manager/owner(s) might be to offer a smaller NY strip as an option for smaller appetites. Guacamole was delicious as well as their house Pina Colada. I had the salmon and my fiancé ordered the filet medallions. Large portions of the sides were served. The only complaints I have were the price of a Jefferson old fashioned were $25 each and the entree sides were a little salty for my taste buds.
