Me and my wife came down for our honeymoon. The staff were polite and welcoming, food was amazing and the drinks did what they had to do! The ambiance has a great aesthetic and makes you want to stay here all day to enjoy it. Every bartender were fantastic, very friendly and the cook Chris went above and beyond to make sure that we got exactly what we were craving. Ya know, the view here is what this place has going for it. The food was also delicious, although a bit overpriced. The service is really the miss here. Our waiter could only be deserved as a 30-something "bro", seemed super new to the service industry. I ordered a tequila and soda with a lime to drink. Our waiter approached me 4 times because he didn't understand my drink order and apparently neither did the bartender. I compared to a Tito's and soda, but still didn't land with either of them. I thought that was absolutely wild. It's a 2 ingredient drink plus a garnish. So I had to just get a drink off the menu. They seem pretty focused on large parties here too. Stopping into Flamingo Coast was a spur of the moment decision. We were trying to escape the wind and find somewhere to get a drink or two. We were pleasantly surprised by how unique and vibrant the place was. When you first walk into the restaurant, there is a lower floor that offers more of an over-the-counter option with a dirty soda bar. We chose to eat upstairs in the rooftop lounge. The views, drinks and food were perfect. The vibes had a South Beach feel and there were couches, high tops, and two bars to choose from. We ordered the crab pretzel and it was delicious. The staff were personable and helpful. Overall it was an awesome experience and will most likely be one of our go-to spots in the future. read more

What fun! Check this spot out the next time you are at the boardwalk. They have something for everyone. Dirty sodas, frozen drink bar, speak-easy, pizza! The staff is so friendly, hustles and ensures a good time. Great tunes play while you enjoy the beach vibe. I didn't even make it to the rooftop! Next time! Tried the Golden Wing - it wasn't super sweet which I liked - and the Lime In the Coke-Conut - another great combination! Also had the lemon pepper wings - fantastic flavor, and the Fun Guy Melt. Nicely designed restaurant on the corner of the strip. It is pretty large because it has a whole lower level seating area and a whole top area bar seat area. The restaurant is designed where you come up to the cashier to order and find your own table to sit down and wait until your number is called. There's plenty of people with multiple kiosks making ordering fast and easy. I had gotten wings and a chicken Caesar wrap. The wings had good flavor and a nice crunch to it came pipping hot! A solid chicken wing 3.5/5 The chicken Ceaser wrap was a decent portion. The chicken itself is a fried chicken and not very meaty, thin or flatten chicken breast, the crunch was decent but not as meaty or juicy as I would've liked. They pour heavy on the Ceaser dressing so I'd ask it on the side if I were to order again. The fires were pretty lacking, just not crunchy nor had good seasoning on it. A for the boardwalk, gotta have good fries. Overall, 3/5. There's some other orders that I saw that looked amazing like the cheesesteak but I'll have to get that next time!! I would give more than 5 stars if I could, but 5/5 will have to do! Flamingo Coast is an amazing addition to the boardwalk. Super convenient to walk in and order a sandwich to take back to the beach. The Mighty Chicken Caesar was the best wrap I've had in my life, and everyone in our group agreed all of their food was amazing! They have a great selection of both beachy foods and healthy options. In addition to the amazing food, they also have dirty sodas (hello momtok) and a daiquiri bar with 2 for 1 drink specials in the afternoon. We ordered at the counter and only waited about 5 minutes for our order number to be called. The portion sizes are great for the price, too. There was plenty to share. The interior has a good amount of seating and the staff were very friendly. This will definitely be one of our go-to spots as we come back each year! read more

Went to flamingo coast for lunch at 2pm. The view is spectacular. Waited almost 10 minutes for a hostess. Went to the bar to ask for the hostess. The bartender pointed to a women that wasn't anywhere near the hostess stand. Our fountain drinks had an odd taste. Ordered the Mediterranean bowl. It was as inedible. Not a vegetable in the bowl. My husband ordered fish tacos. Not great. The view is amazing. The service is sub par. The food is not good. We have never had a bad meal in Ocean City in over 12 years of living in OCMD. We had dinner on the rooftop at Flamingo coast, on Tuesday, as the sun was going down. Its on the boardwalk. Its cute up there, I admit it. There is Cabana seating available. 2 full bars, nice scenery and a breeze. Our waiter was nice. --The table was a wet mess when we were seated. He cleaned up and we sat down. I was wearing a short dress so the chairs with the wicker-like seating hurt my bottom and legs. I almost grabbed a pillow from the Cabana but I didnt..we ordered beach nachos. For six people, it was served for more like, 4 people. They were good for the bit I got. My Coke was out of the fountain. They didn't have a can or bottle. So much ice and no fizz on the soda, so it tasted flat and then, being outside, the ice melted, and it was terrible. Plus, now I know why our table was so wet when we came in! The condensation from everyone's drinks made huge puddles on our table, so much so, the waiter brought us an entire roll of paper towels and sat them on our table. It was disgusting. My flounder sandwich with fries.. it came out, .not hot, and not warm at all. I took off the bun and it was broken into pieces and put on the bun with mixed greens and a Chesapeake aoli that wasn't really present. The briosh bun made the fish hard to taste. My first bite was tough. I started thinking they put peices from other people's plates on it. I wouldn't be surprised. Fries were good. I wouldn't come back to repeat that episode, ever. The worst part was the nasty wet table. You cannot imagine. Gross. read more

My rating is only based on the dirty sodas just as an FYI. I love that this place even has dirty sodas-- a top tier NA beverage choice (in my opinion) for the beach. Attended the summer kickoff on May 16th. The service and the venue were just what you want when you're at the beach. After hanging out on the rooftop for hours dancing to the live music and enjoying the incredible view, we spent more time in their speakeasy. Definitely check out the speakeasy! This was a wonderful experience. There were six of us and all of us thought it was well beyond what we were expecting. Since the restaurant is on the boardwalk, it frankly could have mediocre food and turn out 1000s of one time customers. BUT THIS WAS NOT THE CASE! We ordered the cheesesteak (removed lettuce and tomato and added grilled onions) , we had the sweet green and the bbq ends, the flamingo sandwich no bread, and a couple of their salads. We found this place on the board walk because of their "dirty soda's" and we came back time and time again! We had 8 of the dirty soda flavors (I think there was 15 in total?) and they were all DELICIOUS. We made a friendly activity to try as many as we could! It could be a fun activity to advertise...maybe try all 15 and get one free? We went for lunch one day and had great sandwiches. Everything was delicious (minus the pasta salad which was very bland). Numerous options for vegetarians (which I am), as well as "safe" kid foods to make mealtime easier! Seating was first come first serve, but we had no issues finding seats. We also went back for breakfast, but forgot to take pictures. That was also delicious, especially the pancake poppers. Next time I would like to try the Daiquiri bar, as there seemed to be a lot of fun flavors. Music was prime 2000s, so I was in my millennial heaven. We were on the boards and it was their last day so everything was 1/2 off. We got Beach Bum Wings(very good), shrimp tacos(very good), and a lobster roll that sucked. Meat was frigid and tasteless, it was dripping with wet mayo, and the cucumber relish was so overpowering I had to pick it off. I got that because they were out of the stuffed shrimp app and I wanted something seafoody. Taking off the relish and letting as much mayo drip off as possible and it still didnt help it. The roll was good and a proper split bun. Service was good. Our rum bucket was real good. We sat on the roof over looking the ocean and it was a nice vibe on a sunny November day.
