In the gift shop, he had a very hard time making the decision between two shirts, and wound up having a "meltdown" as a result (making decisions is often very difficult for him, especially game time decisions with an audience of strangers). The 3 employees in the gift shop tonight were so incredibly patient and understanding, allowing him to take his time with no judgement or negative reactions. What could have wound up ruining our evening entirely was saved by the patience and kindness of these employees. I wish I would've gotten their names but in all the commotion it slipped my mind. We just wanted to make sure management knew how wonderful these 3 employees are. We can't wait to return again next year. Thank you!

My husband ordered the Bad Monkey Breakfast with an iced coffee, while I enjoyed a side of scrambled eggs and the Nutella French Toast from the kids' menu. Our favorite part of every breakfast is the delicious monkey bread--it's always a treat! Everything was delicious and our server Colin was attentive. If I could change one thing, it would be the opening time. We are early risers and wish we didn't have to wait until 8:30 for breakfast. Perhaps if it opened earlier, we'd come even more often?

The chips were hot and well salted and the salsa was good. I opted for the Birria Tacos listed as one of their premium tacos. The food came out quickly given how busy the place was. I think they were slightly overcooked. The tortillas seemed freshly made, and the au jus was delicious. The beef itself was okay, and there was less cheese than I expected. It was still a good dinner. As far as the restaurant itself, I was seated in the bar area, and overhead were old dished light/fan fixtures that looked pretty dirty. They might was to remove those as they just collect dust which eventually falls/drifts down. The air vents weren't looking very good either. These really kind of affect his the place could be perceived. I'll still leave 4 stars although I almost dropped to 3. There aren't half stars to give. A little attention to the facility might leave a better impression.

The cream of crab continues to cement its place as the top 2 cream of crab soups in and around OC. I went with the longboard burger as my meal - served with pasta salad. Really like the pasta salad as a side being different. The burger was pretty skimpy on the special sauce that came with it, but I asked for a side of bleu cheese which was good. The bartender who served us was a younger guy with a beard and longer hair - very friendly and attentive to everyone. Longboard Café is a convenient and lovely stop just across the main bridge into Ocean City. There's plenty of parking in the shopping center lot, plus indoor seating and a covered outdoor patio. It's a very pet-friendly, cozy place. Our server was attentive from start to finish. Rex got a bowl of water, some bacon, and even a cute bandana. That was before he managed to score a few bites of our burgers... because they're pretty big! I had the jerk mahi-mahi tacos. It was a good lunch portion. The fish was cooked a bit longer than I'd like, but it was still enjoyable. The crab cake burger was savory and delicious! The pasta salad, which is offered as a side with many of the entrees, was also excellent. Loaded with herbs, capers, and simply full of flavor. Two other burgers at our table (the Longboard Burger and the Bacon Burger) were also thoroughly enjoyed. I almost forgot... the beverages were great too. The classic margarita was awesome. Good ingredients, that splash of Grand Marnier, and not overly sweet. You might want a second... My kids had the Cosmockpolitan and the Strawberry Lemonade Crush.
