I got into OC at 2005 and was told by Primos they closed at 2000 and wouldn't serve me. So I wanted to try Fast Eddie's and went there. Lex checked to see if it ok to grab something to eat and let me in since it was empty and they were cleaning up. They were so nice and I know it was slow but they gave great service and the smash burger was great. Tonight was a late dinner so I walked over and was happy to find out on Sundays their happy hour specials are all day (at least right now) so I got buffalo wings (they were very large) and a smash burger with a side of onion rings. They were all amazing. Paige was there again and I mentioned the other night to Erika and how great it is to have customer service at that caliber. Definitely check this place out.

We arrived around 6 on a Saturday night and the place is busy (it always is). We are greeted in an ok time, it took longer than ever before (and we've been there when it's been busier). The young lady greeted us, took our order and left. We ordered boneless wings, fries, crab cakes, and soup. She came back about 5 mins later and said they sold out of crab cakes. I get it's the off season, but there really is no off season at Fast Eddies. So we ordered something significantly cheaper from the menu. When the food came out, it was just ok. My boneless wings were way overdone and the crab burger was just ok. When the check came, it seemed to be a little high, like she never adjusted the pricing from the crab cake dinner. We never received the itemized receipt and after she dropped the slip to sign, we didn't see her again. So we just signed the receipt and left, as we had plans to get to. I don't know if we'll be back to be completely honest.

It's like someone told them one day that tex-mex was popular but never told them what that meant. They had no salsa for the quesadillas and apparently they never have salsa. The tacos came with a bag of chips not tortillas. And the bag was still sealed. That's the presentation you're going for?? It's now a tourist destination and a haunt for locals. Unfortunately I was disappointed in their grilled to perfection. Because the Mahi was completely over cooked and dried out! The flavors were there but definitely over cooked! A real disappointment for me! Shelby our server was really nice and did a good job! We love the Reel Inn and will return hopefully they will get their grilling timing down when doing mixed meals like we ordered! You could tell its quality. Just pull out plenty of napkins before starting as this is was a messy sandwich.
