We got Papi's to go. The staff were very helpful and friendly! I got the Quesabarria and cheese queso sauce. The food was fabulous! I loved the inside of the place. The ambience was encantato! You should really try this place, you'll love it!

Birria tacos were excellent! Short rib burrito was also reported as excellent. Service was fantastic. Highly recommend the mango-rita diablo. They have separate vegan and GF menus. Would go again.

Big Papi's fan and was excited to visit there location in Ocean City. They had great off season deals like an $11 burrito and happy hour. Service was great but food was pretty cold. The server took it back and heated up our cheese was still not great but better. Made a fresh burrito and it was a lot better! Sangria and margarita was delicious. The chips and salasa were phenomenal. I really liked this location and ambiance although there were issues, I would come back for another try!

I had tried Papi's before for a takeout meal, and had a bad experience. The bowl I got wasn't very good, so I wasn't motivated to go back. We decided to give dining in a try last weekend it was completely different! We got seated and then saw a happy hour deal, but at the bar only. After waiting a few minutes and not having our server come anyway, we headed to the bar. We had great service at the bar and enjoyed the drink deals. We each got a meal and both were really tasty. I enjoyed the tacos and the toppings were no joke. The salsa that came with the chips and the ones I got with my tacos were delicious and fresh. We will definitely be back!

As usual, good service, good food, reasonable & FILLING! Maine Root Beer tried tonight & very good. I also never had fried pickle & loved it! Disappointed as the Tamales, my FAV (& reason I go) are NO longer on the menu. Hope they bring them back.

We were in Ocean City over the weekend and looking for some Good mexican food. This was right across the street from our hotel and we are so glad we stopped in! Margaritas were perfect, food was good and always a plus when you get warm chips.

The best Mexican food in OC . Love the atmosphere! Walking distance from the boards. Friendly staff . Winner! Hint: Best food comes from B-More - Hun!

9/24/25 - Tonight we headed for another of the Ocean City local Mexican taco joints. This one was called Papi's and its right on the main drag. I ordered a Mission Style Burrito with beef and my wife ordered a Birria Chimichanga with steak. Apologies for not having a pic of these. I got distracted The good: The place has a lovely Mexican cantina feel to it with the obligatory large bar and welcoming lighting. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our waitress spent a lot of time explaining everything and made suggestions based on her favorites and what was on special for the evening. And the food comes very quickly too! The bad: they start by bringing a nice bowl of chips with salsa in a small plastic cup. The chips are homemade and definitely quality. The salsa is delicious with very little heat but lots of onion, garlic and cilantro flavors. The problem here is the the plastic cup barely covers a quarter of the chips. And I am not the biggest fan of a sealed plastic cup. When was this salsa made? How long has this been sitting in the fridge? It's a poor way to present food and puts questions in the mind of diners. My burrito was fine. It was flavorful and stuffed with beef, cheese, rice, refried beans and peppers with a delightful red salsa sauce served on the side. It comes in a soft flour tortilla and is plated with pico de gallo. The portion is somewhat small. It's enough to satisfy you for sure but if you are looking for leftovers the next day, this shouldn't be your choice. My wife's chimichanga had bigger issues however. It comes deep fried with a drizzled white sauce on top. It had all the same stuffing as mine but her meal must have bounced around a bit in the fryer causing the inside to have a mixed and unappealing look to it. There was very little you could identify. The big deal breaker for her was the steak. Many of the steak pieces were grisly and inedible. Maybe the bar was set too high at last evening's dinner, but tonight's meal just didn't measure up. Overall Rating: C+

First, I want to say that our waiter, Kellen, was fantastic! A group of 7 of us had a variety of tacos...cod, carne asada, and chicken tinga. They were all delicious, although I now know that soft corn tortillas fall apart...I'll get flour next time. One person had a chorizo quesadilla, and loved it. The only problem came with the side dishes. For about $8-$10, you get two tacos...nothing else. If you want rice, it"s $2.50 for the small or $4 for the large. Same for the beans. Now I was there with teenagers...they wanted 4 tacos each. Fine...so the $8.50 tacos became $17. One portion of rice and beans would have been plenty...but the restaurant doubles that, too. So all of a sudden, your dinner becomes $27! Nowhere on the menu does it say that the sides get multiplied. All it asks is if you want 4, 6, 8, 10,or 12 tacos. If you had a really big appetite and wanted 12 tacos and rice and beans...you'd spend an extra $25 for your sides! Taco dinner for 7 cost $199.41! We'll go again ..but we'll order differently.

I have not eaten one bad thing here and am convinced it is the best breakfast spot in town! The lobster benedict (often one of their specials) is tender, flavorful, and delicious; and their Captain Crunch french toast (one of their regular menu items) is amazing and doesn't even need the melba sauce it is served with on the side. I tried a bite of their corn pancake special, which was also very good, not overly sweet, and paired well with the mango salsa; and my mom had their Angel food cake French toast with berries and melba sauce, which she enjoyed very much. They also have a number of different mimosa selections. I had a pineapple mimosa the first time and a passionfruit one the second and both were equally delicious and again, not overly sweet. It gets very busy on the weekends but whenever we have had to wait, it was never longer than ten minutes. We saw some good ratings and gave this place a shot and we weren't disappointed. We were greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff who helped us make the right selection. As my wife was fasting, she went with a small fruit bowl, my son chose shortstack pancakes, and I tried the veggie hash. The fruit bowl was decorated well and had plenty of variety. From blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, watermelons, apples, bananas, and others, all the fruits were fresh and perfectly ripe. The pancakes were very large and just one would have been more than enough for two people it seems but they even added berries for my son on them. The veggie hash had lots of potential. It was cooked well, however, lacked seasoning. It seemed slightly bland and I had to utilize ketchup to give it some identity. However, the quality and variety of veggies inside was great. Overall, I am giving four stars due to the fact that the prices are high, but the service and quality are worth it; especially for such a close location to the boardwalk.

We walked from our hotel and checked in about 15min before our reservation, and were immediately sat. Don't seem overly busy which is never a good thing in a vacation destination. We were sat along the windows and put in a drink order. I got an old fashioned which was fine. I ordered the cream of crab soup as a starter. Soup was solid, but the flavor was pretty lacking. As my entree I went with the bleu cheese encrusted steak. I ordered it medium-well, which is what you do at a place that doesn't have steak in its name or isn't billed as a steakhouse. That way when the undercook it (as most do) it'll be the preferred medium temp. Anyway, the steak came out and WAS NOT encrusted. Customer Service: Hands down the best we experienced during our 9-day family trip to OCMD. Karri, our waitress, made us feel like family, loved her. Jeff & Mike were professional, friendly, and made a point to engage with every table. Breakfast? PHENOMENAL. Best we've had, not just this summer, but in all our years visiting OCMD. My wife and son agree. Everything was homemade and cooked to order. No frozen shortcuts. Portions were just right, flavors balanced beautifully, and nothing overly sweet. Nashville Hot Stuffed French Toast: The bourbon and caramelized apples stole the show. Chicken was a fun twist, though next time I'd get it on the side to keep the sweet and spicy separate. You can skip the chicken altogether and save $4 if you'd like. Banana Foster French Toast: Mind-blowing. The kind of dish that makes you question everything you've ever called "breakfast." Plate was licked clean. Already dreaming of it for summer 2026. Creamed Chipped Beef over Biscuits: Shared this one. Generous portion, nostalgic flavor, clearly a recipe passed down and perfected. Triple Decker: My son had the chocolate chip pancakes, huge portion, perfect texture, and he loved every bite. Only minor con: straws come unwrapped in your drink. Not a dealbreaker, but something to note. Final score: 25/25. Solid A+. Verdict: Highly recommended. We'll be back in summer 2026, no question.
