Gravy sampler - homemade biscuit with sausage gravy. Delish!
    Sarah A.

Was visiting Ocean City, Maryland and it was our last day there. Looked for a brunch spot and decided to give this place a try. When we first arrived, around 10:30am, the place was already full of people and a few people were lined up to get their name on the waitlist. We waited about 5min and a lady asked if anybody minded sitting in this corner table behind the bar in the back of the restaurant and we didn't mind so we immediately took the spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If anything, we liked that it was in a more quiet and secluded area away from the other guests![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waitress was very friendly and joked around with us and also gave us suggestions on what to get on the menu. The food came quickly and everything was delicious! We ordered the homemade biscuit with sausage gravy as well as the Surfing Benedict and the Banana Foster Roll. Left feeling very full and satisfied!

Decent breakfast, nothing special, standard fare. Service was friendly and fast - it was dead for breakfast on a January Monday. The wheat bread was really good on the breakfast sandwich, and the potatoes were nicely seasoned. Good portions. No complaints but nothing outstanding.

After a less-than-stellar first visit earlier this year, we decided to give Surfside Rooster another chance this morning - I'm so glad we did! The cinnamon roll was the perfect sweet appetizer. While the biscuits are not our favorite, the fried chicken and cream chipped beef were excellent! The grits were our favorite part of our first visit and that held true this time as well, so cheesy and delicious! We'll definitely be back to try some more of the menu!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Super nice place that we would always pass leaving Assateague.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We would normally go to Bayside Skillet (which is good) but wanted to try somewhere new. After one visit this is now our go-to breakfast spot when we visit the area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everything was delicious, the service was excellent and it's super cozy inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar is far enough from the dining area that there can be a bunch of guys sitting there watching the game and you're not disturbed at all.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Cool little bar/brunch spot in Ocean Coty. Ordered sausage and gravy and their crab meat eggs benedict. This was my first time having sausage and gravy so I don't have a reference but I thought it was pretty darn good. Biscuit was moist and soft on the inside with a moderate cheeses flavor. Dipped in with the sausage gravy mixed with bits of sausages was . Eggs benedict was also done well. Eggs weren't super runny (which I prefer) and it was loaded with crab meat. Staff were super friendly and gave us some solid recommendations. They told us to order their banana fosters pancake stack and it was a solid rec. It was lacking some actual banana bits though, but flavor was still solid. Overall, would definitely recommend!

We stopped in for breakfast on a fall morning. We were thankful they were open, as many places were closed. We had creamed chipped beef gravy and biscuits, and a scramble. Both were excellent. Our waitress was the best, as she was friendly and fast. I asked her about the biscuits and she told me they are cheddar biscuits made fresh every morning. Really were outstanding! Also, huge portions. The restaurant is off the beaten path, which is nice because they have parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also, it has a country farmhouse feel which was very comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The windows had interesting views of the road our front.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Valentine's weekend with a party of 6, so we expected a long wait. Despite them being very busy we were seated quickly, had great attentive service, outstanding quality and portion sizes. Couldn't have been a better experience.

Appreciated getting breakfast later in the morning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Despite the cold temperature, the food was good[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I enjoyed being promptly welcomed upon entering. Service was responsive and courteous. Overall, great experience and good food!

My wife ordered the surfside Benedict with croissant, it was great. So good we switched. The potatoes weren't to our liking as they were soft and we usually like them on the crispier side. My breakfast was nothing to write home about. My pancakes were undercooked and my bacon was over cooked. Luckily, we told the waitress about the pancakes and they took it off our bill and gave us a croissant cinnamon roll which was decent. I didn't like my breakfast at all. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall good place I just got a bad meal as they were really busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Oh my! Whoever the idiot is who rated this place less than 5 stars probably had to contend with lines or the fact that they ran out of cinnamon rolls. Bottom line for us is that Surfside Rooster was probably one of the best breakfast stops we have ever had. I chose the Nashville Hot chicken with French Toast and the wife had a Chicken Biscuit. Amazing x2 and see Sydney for any menu advice you might have.....that gal has hospitality!

First time here for breakfast! I'll have to say , get here early if you want a seat for a fantastic breakfast! Small local hangout that I happen to find while down there on vacation. Definitely worth it. They know what they're doing when it comes to breakfast. Won't break the bank on this one either. We tried the croissant cinnamon roll which was delicious and a different spin on something we're all familiar with. We also had the stuffed French toast with apples and bourbon cream topped with Nashville hot chicken. And the blueberry stuffed French toast ! Super delicious! Very prompt service too. Check this place out , won't disappoint!

When it is not too busy, leashed and friendly dogs are welcome inside, which makes this historic spot even cooler. Known for live music, the tavern has a laid‑back atmosphere with pool tables, TVs for the game, walls full of memorabilia, and a crowd that is fun to hang with. Our bartender Toby was awesome to chat with -- easily one of the highlights of the visit. If you are exploring OC with your pup, this is a classic stop with tons of character.

We stopped by around 10am on a Tuesday. Understand, this is a bar not a restaurant. Looks to a fun location at night. The tables were a bit sticky and there was stuff on the chairs. Our waitress came over, she was very polite. Most the time she spent on her phone. We asked for iced coffee which was not an option. Liv and I ordered crab cake breakfast and Amanda the crab omelette. Poached eggs were also not an option. Food was good. Average. The iced coffee cocktail was tasty and very strong. The men's bathroom had a stench, plus mosquitos, and flies at our table. Would we come back? Not for brunch, maybe for drinks? Maybe

We arrived right around 1:30pm on a nice (but breezy), sunny Saturday. Since it was a bit windy we decided to sit at Teaser's outdoor bar instead of out on the deck. We had our choice of bar seats on all 4 sides of the bar but the bar quickly filled up not long after. We chose the back side of the bar looking out at the marina which happened to be right by the orange squeezer which was a great move. The bartender, Kate (I believe), made many, many crushes while we were there. It's so nice seeing Orange Crushes made with fresh squeezed OJ. Kate was a pleasure to interact with and she made so many great recommendations (Spicy Mango Crush, Baltimore Club, Mediterranean Grain Bowl). We started with crushes of course, two Orange Crushes and a Grapefruit Crush. I then switched to a Spicy Mango Crush with a Tajin rim and I may have liked that better than the Grapefruit crush. My dad enjoyed my Spicy Mango Crush so much he ordered one for himself. My mom also switched it up and ordered an Espresso Martini which was a little disappointing to say the least. Per one of Kate's suggestions, I got the Baltimore Club which is a crabcake sandwich with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and shrimp salad served on an everything bun. The crabcake itself was really, really good and combined with all of the other toppings/fixin's I think this is a must order for me next time I'm here. My mom got the Applewood Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich and my dad got the Sunset Burger. All sandwiches are served with fries, slaw, or Mediterranean Salad. Everything was so good that we decided to come back the next day for lunch again. I ended up getting the Sunset Burger and my parents both ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Kate made another great recommendation as we all decided to go with the Mediterranean Salad as our side and it didn't disappoint. It was light, bright, refreshing, and citrusy. We've been coming to the area now from Jersey for years and have always had good experiences at Sunset Grille. The atmosphere is always great being right on the water but the food and service over these two days may have been the best yet. We will be back in June and will definitely be dining at Sunset Grille Marina.

Our server was attentive and checked in on us frequently. My husband and son shared a special for the day - the 40oz tomahawk steak with loaded mashed potatoes. Presentation-wise, this steak looked incredible. Flavor was on point, perfectly seasoned and the exact temperature requested (medium rare). My other son and I shared the crabcake entree and the crabcakes were delicious! Very little filler and moist on the inside. Asparagus was also perfectly cooked and seasoned. We were so impressed with this meal that we will keep Sunset Grille in rotation every time we come to Ocean City.
