One of the places open during the offseason, nice bar inside with very warm and welcoming dining room. There is outside dining if the weather's nice. Great selection of cocktails and mocktails and beers. The east coast old fashioned was delicious. They had a soup special for St Patrick's Day which was lamb and corned beef and vegetables and potatoes etc which was very good. The Mediterranean scallops were tasty as well. The seafood bucatini was creamy and delicious and the seafood very fresh tasting. Cooked perfectly as well especially the scallops. All the other meals everyone said were good, the steak was cooked perfectly and everyone left full and happy. Service was wonderful, friendly, and enjoyable.

Aug. 2025 | Mixed Emotions Dining Experience Customer service - 5 out of 5 Wait time - 2 out of 5 (appetizer) Cleanliness - 5 out of 5 Atmosphere - 4 out of 5 Food quality - 3 out of 5 We tried Coastal Salt last year and left disappointed. Told ourselves we wouldn't return, but the South Pacific Snapper lured me back, and here come the mixed emotions as per my title. Pros: - That Snapper? Phenomenal. Caribbean vibes in every bite. Generous portion and balanced flavor. Sweetness from the coconut & mango, accompanied by mild spice, and brightness. One of my favorite dishes in OCMD. - Jake, our waiter, gave it his all to smooth out the experience. Cons: - Appetizer never arrived until after entrées were finished. Jake comped it, but it added to the chaos. - My son couldn't eat here due to a nut allergy. What he wanted (burger, mac & cheese) wasn't safe, so we settled for chicken & potatoes a-la-cart. The bill showed $10 for dry chicken, & $9 for bland potatoes. - My wife's mashed potatoes were cold, but quickly replaced by the manager. Despite better entrées this year, except for my son's, we won't return. Between allergy limitations and service stumbles, we're not the target audience. Still, I'd recommend it to those without dietary concerns, and strongly recommend the South Pacific Snapper. Score: 19/25 for a grade C for 2025.

Shocker.... Who closes at 10 on a Saturday at the beach? Menu offered great selections of Apps and seafood, but staff were ready to go. They stopped taking orders at 9:30. I Sat at the bar and the bar staff turned 2 groups of 4 and a solo patron away - from drinks! They are losing money by turning bar patrons away. Staff were focused on closing.. at 9:30pm, I quickly ordered fried deviled eggs... and was disappointed. The panko seasoning was tasteless. Although the presentation and plating was creative. I was underwhelmed by staff customer service.

We started with a dozen raw oysters from Virginia. They were deliciously plump and briny, chilled to perfection. I had the lump crab cake sandwich on a brioche bun with arugula and tartar sauce with fries. The blue crab was generous. My sister had the Crab Cobb Salad. It was a work of art! It was stacked like a tower with layer upon layer with Crab Meat, Corn, Avocado, Bitter Greens, Pico De Gallo, Bacon, Shaved Asparagus, and Avocado Lime Vinaigrette. Amazing!

Terrific seafood right on the boardwalk. This restaurant, open in the off season, has amazing views of the ocean and excellent food and drink options. My wife and I stopped in on our October trip to Ocean City and grabbed a seat at their comfy bar. The bartender was friendly and got us our drinks quickly (a traditional gin and tonic and their specialty drink "East Coast Fashion"). Both were very good and good pours so we did not need a second. I ordered the Blackened Fish Tacos and my wife had the Crab Cobb. The fish on the tacos were fresh with a nice crunchy slaw and flavorful corn and black bean salsa. My wife's Cobb was more than enough crab with spicy pico and bright lime vinaigrette. It was a wonderful adventure and great to spend some of the last warm days by the sea.

We had an order of raw oysters, fried devil eggs and a few drinks. The waiter was cool. The ambiance was nice however, it was ridiculously cold at the bar. The drinks were mid, the oysters were good but smaller than expected. Those fried devil eggs had the right type of crisp but lack flavor, definitely needed more season. I do plan to return to try other me I options, most looked interesting.

The reservation was made a couple of hours before our dinner date. I liked how easy that process was and the oceanfront view was pretty. I ordered oysters and I felt like they barely had any oyster meat in them, personally I wouldn't have served that to a customer and I know it's not something predetermined. I loved the mocktail that I ordered. It was so good and I would love to have one again. The service wasn't terrible but we repeatedly had to ask for silverware and coasters and straws and after a while gave up.

Wonderful place right on the OC boardwalk! We came here both for lunch when we got in and dinner later that night. Prices are to be expected being a prime location! I got the shrimp cocktail which was amazing with large shrimp and the ginger lemon drop cocktail! For dinner I got the grilled octopus which was large enough for two people. I really enjoy this place and really glad for the fact we were able to get a table without reservations!

Coastal Salt was very accommodating for our large group, including kids. The server was friendly and attentive, and they seat us right away when we got there. The vibes are a little more upscale for the boardwalk but still family-friendly. The drinks are pricey but strong. We ordered some apps and meal, and my favorite was the Coastal Roll.

Was a little disappointed this time. Got seated fine music was blasting. I had asked twice if could lower it. Food wasn't the best either. Eggs were like rubber. Sad cause stay at hotel and been here a few times. Be back September hopefully will be better.

Coastal Salt is a new American seafood restaurant located in the Quality Inn. They are open every day from 8:00AM - 10:00PM. This place is close to my hotel and they got great reviews, so finding somewhere to eat on my first night of vacation was an easy decision. My buddy and I split the Lobster Mac & Cheese, Summer Seafood Pesto, and the Filet Mignon. Everything was delicious. The seafood was fresh and the filet was cooked to a perfect medium rare. On my second visit I ordered some drinks and tried the fried deviled eggs. Service was much better this time around and the appetizer was fantastic. Coastal Salt has indoor and outdoor seating. Pickup is available, but there is no delivery. Stopped at costal salt, busy when we came so we sat at the bar and the bartender was extremely nice and friendly especially since the couple next to us was ungodly rude he kept a smile and was so professional. Food was fine, lobster Mac and cheese was underwhelming and cold, not that cheeses. The glazed carrots were amazing but also a bit cold. The star of the show were the mashed potatoes with goat cheese and chive, highly recommend!! I think in terms of ocean city, this place is a top restaurant but overall it's fine.

The space itself is massive, and beautifully and intentionally designed. It's on the top floor of the hotel with a really stunning interior. We had a 9:00 PM reservation on a Saturday night. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance because this place was insanely crowded. Despite how busy it was, we were seated promptly right at the time of our reservation. The food and drinks were outstanding across the board. The steak was cooked perfectly and the Patatas Bravas were a favorite of mine. The cocktails and mocktails were excellent--the house Negroni was one of the best I've had. One thing worth noting: this is definitely a lively and loud space. Great for groups, celebrations, or an upbeat dinner night, but maybe not the best choice if you're looking for a quiet or intimate evening. Lastly, the staff were all incredibly warm, kind, quick, and hospitable. Even with how packed the restaurant was, service didn't feel chaotic or inattentive. Overall, a really wonderful experience and somewhere I will absolutely return to!

This restaurant is located on the top of the Cambria hotel. I heard it was popular, but even with a reservation we had to wait over 25 minutes to be sat at our table. And our table was a high top right in the bar area which was a little disappointing. It was up against a window that I'm sure would have given us an amazing view but it was already so dark outside. The interior of the restaurant was also extremely dim. Because of where we were sat it was extremely loud and I felt a little stuffed into the seat since there was a party of 5 directly behind me sitting. The menu is expansive. We obviously celebrated with a bottle of wine and our server Nina (I think that was her name) was very attentive and always made sure our glasses were filled. The bread was delicious and we decided on a couple tapas. It was hard to eat just because the table was tiny. The food was beautifully presented and came out staggered which was nice. The steak was great, the calamari was very standard. And the crab fritters tasted like a lot of filler.. our favorite was the mushroom and scallop risotto. I'm not a scallop girl but the risotto was cooked beautifully and had such a savory unique buttery flavor that I'm still thinking about! I'd come here again but 10000% please make a reservation!! The ambiance is vibey and the food was pretty good. Be prepared to spend some $$ here!

The good: It's right on the Boardwalk and if you have the right table, you can see and hear the breakers as you dine. The wait staff couldn't have been nicer and more attentive. The chips and salsa were pretty good but they do charge for this. The chips are served in a metal basket that arrives warm out of a broilers. It seems like a great spot for young folk who want to drink and have a light bite. Unfortunately, the good ends there. The bad: the music is so loud that it's a struggle to have a conversation. And if you linger, it will give you sensory overload and lead to a headache. Because the chips were so good, I had great expectations for my carne asada bowl. But I was wrong. To start, the cheese on top was cold. No, it wasn't melted either. Pet peeve of mine, if you put cold shredded cheese on any of my food and you don't melt it, it's not going to get a good review. Unless it's a salad. The asada beef was flavorful but very dry. If you didnt include some of the rice and/or other vegetables with each bite of the beef, it was unpleasant. Portion sizes: on the small side but that plays into catering to the younger, drinking crowd. Now the financial side: $9.60 Parking $54.00 Two bowls, one soda, one water and one chips and salsa, 20% tip Almost $64.00 for a couple dining out at what should inexpensive eats without alcohol is ridiculous. I am sure there are better Mexican eateries on this barrier strip and I intend to find them. This place however, is a failure. Overall Rating: D+

I have not eaten one bad thing here and am convinced it is the best breakfast spot in town! The lobster benedict (often one of their specials) is tender, flavorful, and delicious; and their Captain Crunch french toast (one of their regular menu items) is amazing and doesn't even need the melba sauce it is served with on the side. I tried a bite of their corn pancake special, which was also very good, not overly sweet, and paired well with the mango salsa; and my mom had their Angel food cake French toast with berries and melba sauce, which she enjoyed very much. They also have a number of different mimosa selections. I had a pineapple mimosa the first time and a passionfruit one the second and both were equally delicious and again, not overly sweet. It gets very busy on the weekends but whenever we have had to wait, it was never longer than ten minutes.
