Looked like a great spot and it was just OK. I ordered the $12 lunch special, a chicken salad sandwich, and the roll it came on was better than the chicken salad. My husband ordered a salad with lobster on top and it was also rather underwhelming for him. Maybe we just got there on an off day, off-season because the restaurant itself is very nice. The service was also very good. Too bad.

I wanted to speak to the service of this place first. Everyone seemed happy to be there and when I wasn't satisfied with my dish they really made an effort to correct it and I really appreciated that. I will say that you should 100% go with their specials. We had the blackened tuna and it tasted like it was from the Ritz. Flavors very thoughtful and using seasonal vegetables really made it taste like an amazing Fall dish. Gorgeous restaurant on the inside as well.

CRAB CAKE SANDWICH

My grandma doesn't like crabcake sandwiches, but guess what, she demolished this one and wanted another lol The crabcake was literally all crab and was so fresh. Their mustard tartar with which it is served really made it for me. I will 100% be back for this sandwich again. The restaurant itself is also super cute!

Parker rolls and heirloom tomatoes with burrata

This meal was sumptuous and utterly delightful. We enjoyed a cool breeze on the upstairs eating area and everything was top of the line. Heirloom tomatoes with burrata? Steamed clams? Parker rolls? Cocktail? All top tier. Split two entrees and desserts between us: spicy clams and spaghetti and the blackened catfish over cheesy grits. Lemon ricotta pound cake? Peanut butter tart? Some of the best food I've eaten in a v long time. Service only enhanced the whole experience. Our waitress brought us everything in a timely way without hovering. Can't wait to come back!

Restaurant has a great vibe and was very busy on a Thursday night for dinner. There was 3 of us and we were told there would be a 35 minute wait...not a problem off to get a drink at bar and wait outside on patio chairs set up for waiting. Luckily we met a nice couple who mentioned there was another bar upstairs and when I went up I was shocked to find a huge bar that was almost empty (why the hostess didn't mention that was fcfs seating I have no idea). We grabbed seats at that bar and I took us off the waitlist. Bar up there is nice and roomy and a little less hectic than downstairs. When weather is nice they have e ability to open up a garage style glass door which leads to patio. This place gets A+ for vibe and ambiance. Our bartender was nice and service was good. Food was ok. About what I'd expect from a busy Ocean City restaurant. We started with calamari which I wouldn't order again. Calamari itself was good but batter way under seasoned and there was nothing special about it. Sauce was good though. Both guys had lobster rolls which they said were good but average. I prefer mine just drowned in butter so I didn't try. I had the soft shell crab special which was really good if you like soft shells. French fries were on point. Overall good experience just not sure I'd go again.

LOBSTER ROLL "MAINE"STYLE

If you don't mind the wait (no reservations taken) you'll be rewarded with great food, service and an awesome beach vibe at Matt's Fish Camp in Fenwick. Bar service was attentive and 4-6pm happy hour offerings rocked. Icky sticky chicken fingers were delish and Fried calamari was delectable. Match those with an Orange Crush or their signature Margarita and the wait time flies by. Once seated for dinner, choices range from more mundane burger, chicken to sea trout which is excellently prepared, scallops with Mac and Cheese and authentic Maine lobster roll. While a busy establishment, servers were always helpful and pleasant. Food and drink lovers in Fenwick, DE, make sure to stop in at Matt's Fish Camp. Your taste buds will tank you.

My parents and I dined here on a Thursday in January around 6pm. We were seated immediately despite quite a crowd of people inside. Kelsey W was our server and she did an excellent job. She was attentive and friendly. We started with the parker house rolls and the onion rings appetizer. The parker house rolls were heavenly. Fresh, soft, warm bread paired with the maple-honey butter. You definitely won't be disappointed ordering them. The onion rings were delicious as well. The batter was light and the paprika gave it a nice kick. The dipping sauce pairing well with them. I also ordered a Matt's homemade soda in the black cherry flavor. It was great. I ordered the chicken and dumplings. The dish was huge and heavy. It was packed with chicken, gnocchi, pearl onions, carrots, swiss chard, and chicken gravy. It was certainly a unique take on chicken and dumplings. My dad ordered the baked crab cakes, which came with waffle fries and coleslaw. The waffle fries were crispy and delicious. He enjoyed the slaw. The crab cakes were a decent size and had a ton of lumps throughout. My mom ordered the fried cod sandwich with chips and coleslaw. The chips were homemade and she enjoyed them. The inside of her bun was a little burnt, but it was soft on top. The batter for the fish was flavored well and the cod was flaky and fresh. This was our first time here. We're interested in trying the other locations. We would definitely return!

My mom and I popped in for lunch on Sunday and almost all of the tables were open. We sat on the upstairs balcony and it was very cute. Our server was so kind and attentive and everyone we interacted with was helpful and nice. We tried both mocktails and really liked them. I love that you can order 3 oysters instead of six - they were fresh and pretty well priced. I got the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp and it was really good, but definitely a little overpriced ($28). My mom got a crabcake sandwich for $24 and she said it was good! It comes with chips, coleslaw and pickles which is nice. I wish their menu had a little bit more fresh fish rather than fried stuff, but I do recommend this place in Bethany!

STIKKY IKKY CHICKEN TENDERS

We stopped in for an early dinner with a friend. It wasn't too busy, we were happy to find easy parking and grabbed a table when we arrived. The staff was friendly and welcoming, offering menu suggestions and checking in with us. The menu has a lot of seafood offerings, but a few things for the kids too. When we have a chance to return to Fenwick, I would love to go back and try some of the cocktails and seafood. Great spot for a date or just meet up with friends. The outside area had corn hole games and plenty of parking across the street too.

WARM LOBSTER ROLL

Matt's is always a go to spot for my family. This trip I had 2 dozen oysters and a lobster roll - both were delicious. Their menu always features some fresh fish options and rotates quite a bit on the entrees. The lobster roll is always my go to. I also had the best Paloma I ever had at the bar!

Tuna poke

I was in Fenwick for vacation and I was looking for a place that had cheap oysters. This place has them for $1 during happy hour which is from 4-6 PM. They also have a really good sauce that you can put on them. I also got the tuna poke. The fish tasted good but I expected there to be a little more that comes with it for the price. I was kind of expecting it to come with more sides such as rice or vegetables like a poke bowl would have. I also tried the avocado deviled eggs and cod sandwich which were both okay, could have used more seasoning. The service was great, our waiter was very attentive and our food came out really fast. The restaurant is also nicely decorated.

Shuck a buck oysters.

We went for happy hour and did shuck a buck oysters. They also have $0.50 clams outside seating was beautiful on the covered deck

Deviled eggs. 7/10. Enjoyed them
Samantha A.

Food was incredible. Service was great, and everything tasted nice and fresh. Got a regular margarita that was fabulous. Lobster roll had lots of claw meat and was tender. A little pricy but worth it.

A guy with a guitar sang some songs as per last time. The views of the Atlantic ocean and the bay are great from the Vista rooftop bar and restaurant. . They now offer many flavors of margaritas. A second bartender was called in when the bar became very busy. I opted for my three strawberry margaritas with salted rims for $8 each. I also enjoyed my Tsunami Wontons with Atlantic lobster, jumbo lump crab, avocado, pico de gallo, and wasabi and red pepper coulis for $20. The happy hour menu is different from when we last visited. Bartender Mark served both of us very well. My friend and I split our bill in half. My share of our bill was $49 including a 3% credit card surcharge, but excluding gratuity. We agreed we will return here again for happy hour.

Wow, thats what I've got for you folks wow…read more Lets start with ambiance, its cute here i loved it. Its a small, quaint little downstairs with more space upstairs. The decor is spot on, just so nice all around! Let's go on to the service. I'm going to shout out Caleb he was great all around very attentive. Answered all my annoying questions haha. Really fantastic. The wait times for food were just right, didn't take too long but didn't rush you. So now for me to talk way too much. OH MY GOD THE FOOD! This is easily the best food I've had in southern delaware. Hands down, full stop. I got a blackened catfish over a red beet salad. The fish was fresh! Yes fresh in February I'm impressed. The blackened seasoning was so good, just spicy enough to make me smile but not too spicy to be unpleasant. Flaky and perfectly cooked I was not disappointed in any way or another. How about the salad? Well, it was a kale salad which I'm not normally a fan of. But the elements of the salad were perfect, the toasted walnuts, the beets, apples, just everything about married in flawless harmony. Even my mother-in-law agreed the kale salad was great. 10/10, 5/5, whatever you want to call it this was an out of the park experience! Drinks, a new addition to my review this week haha. The bar tenders do a "great pour" per my wife and father-in-law. Me, I stick with non-alcoholic and oh man they nailed that too. This is just all good, like whole thing is great. Thank you for an awesome lunch, keep rolling folks!

I will summarize my two most recent family dinners here during the Thanksgiving and Christmas weekends: Marlene took our 5:30 PM dinner reservation over the phone. I was here with my family of nine including two children for Friday night dinner after Thanksgiving day upstairs at a corner table. I started with my spicy margarita for $14. We also shared a bottle of Duckhorn Decoy Brut champagne for $52, which was reduced down to $26 by 50% off due to Friday 50% off on all wine bottles. The Decoy brut champagne was excellent. We also shared and enjoyed the crab dip for $21. We also shared and enjoyed three dozen raw oysters samplers for a total of $81. I also enjoyed my crispy duck confit special with pappardelle, basil pesto, fried onion and garlic chilli vinaigrette for $32. My total bill was $455 excluding gratuity. Morelia C. (nicknamed Mo) served us very well as usual despite us having two children. We first met Mo, when she bartended at the downstairs bar, when we were here prior for many Sunday afternoon happy hours. We returned here again with my larger family of 14 including five children for dinner on the Saturday after Christmas. We had a 5:30 PM dinner reservation. We were again seated immediately upstairs. I started with and enjoyed my two Makers Mark Manhattans up for $15 each. We also shared and enjoyed two dozen raw oysters samplers for $27 per dozen. We also ordered and enjoyed one dozen of the more expensive Raspberry Points for $48. Raspberry Point Oysters are premium, cold-water farmed oysters from Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada, prized for their firm meat, distinct briny flavor with a sweet finish, and deep cups, taking 5-7 years to mature in New London Bay's tidal waters. They're known for being easy to shuck and popular in gourmet settings due to their consistent quality and appealing salty-sweet profile. We also shared the calamari for $17 and the devilled eggs for $19. I also enjoyed my confit lamb shank for $38. Caleb M. served us very well despite us having five children. My total bill was $737 excluding gratuity. Caleb applied our Indian River High School band 10% discount to our bill, which reduced the total from $737 down to $663 excluding gratuity. On Sunday's our favorite bartender is Nick C. Nick said hello, when we visited during the Thanksgiving holiday. We will continue to return here with family and friends for happy hour, lunch or dinner.

The vibes here are immaculate - this is what you imagine when you think coastal taqueria. From the wooden building to the bizarre layout, this is it. You can't go wrong with that! The hot sauces are homemade, the salsa tasted fresh, everything from a condiment perspective was good. Now again was it authentic, no, but come on... If you have to order two things I would get the corn appetizer - it is honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten in delaware, and then the surf and turf burrito because it is epic! Everything I tried was good. The drink situation could use some help...the margarita was fine, but i really wanted neat mezcal and that was incomprehsible to them to the point that I ended up with a mezcal margarita that had anejo mezcal in it...sad We'll be back!

As soon as we pulled in we noticed the lack of parking, honestly at no fault to the restaurant despite that being a complaint amongst reviews. I popped out and sent my bf on his manly duties to fight for a parking spot while I secured a table. I walked in and was immediately sat along the windows to the left of the hostess table. Granted, we are a party of two which absolutely helped a quick seating. Immediately our waiter greeted me and very kindly offered to either take my drink order or return when my bf arrived. In the middle of that time he dropped a pitcher of water, and rounded back very quickly once my bf was seated. We did a round of drinks and an appetizer to start. Ordering our meals halfway through our app. We stuck to non-alcoholic drinks as it was the back end of our trip (lol), so no review of the cocktails although a reliable source complimented the marg! We ordered the fried brussel sprouts as our app, there was no shortage of bacon nor balsamic glaze and we really enjoyed! For our meals we both ordered the steak fajitas with corn tortillas, and I asked for extra peppers. It ended up being a $2 upcharge however, I feel like I am always shorted veggies when I'm down the beach and they gave quite a generous amount. As for the fajitas/steak, it was very well seasoned and very tender. Ultimately we had enough leftover to take home and throw in a wrap for lunch! For the cost, I felt the portions were quite fair. Overall I think we will absolutely be back. Highlights are the service and the value of the meal. I've had some very awful experiences with restaurants in OC and this place definitely gave me some hope. I would love to come back for their awesome sounding happy hour, as well as to try some tacos!
