The food was incredible, the bread for the table was mouth watering good, summer salad with fresh watermelon and feta, crab dip , burrata and Brussels sprouts were all delicious. The portion of seafood risotto was very large and we split it between 3 ladies, it was so amazing with lots of lobster bits and perfectly cooked large scallops and shrimp. Drinks were well done and we ended it all with wonderful and strong espresso martinis. The waiter service was impeccable, our waiter was courteous and endearing and took excellent care of us, clearly had a lot of experience and as busy as he was he still happily took pictures for us The atmosphere was ideal in the patio and I'm glad we ate there as it was very crowded and noisy inside. But the view from the rooftop was beautiful and it all really was just perfect

What a gorgeous rooftop. It's very unassuming walking through the Fenwick Inn up the elevators to the rooftop but once you get to the hostess stand it is unbelievably beautiful. They've done a great job of elevating the ambience and that rooftop deck with a beautiful sunset was gorgeous. The cocktails were high-end and complex. The Poke Bowl was okay and the crab cakes were top notch. The seafood risotto I had could have been better. It was very watery and I don't think they use the correct rice which I pointed out to the server. None of the less of a group had a great time trying on different cocktails and having the best view. Service was good, server was kind. There is parking at the hotel parking lot and I recommend making a reservation.

Food and drinks are so good here. With a few tweaks, it could be a five-star restaurant. We had an appetizer dip with mushrooms, crabmeat and spinach. It arrived with a generous dozen slices of baguette. Really different & really good. Hubby had a special pasta dish of rigatoni with shredded pork, broccoli rabe, and provolone (echoing the Philly sandwich). This was pretty good but in desperate need of seasoning; the pasta (sitting in some sort of broth) was rather plain, as was the pork. I had a special rare-cooked tuna over basmati rice and what they call duxelle veggies. Beautifully presented, the tuna was melt-in-your-mouth tender. We enjoyed a lemon crush and their version of a dirty martini with blue cheese-stuffed olives. The place is decorated nicely with lovely views but crazy loud! We were supposed to dine with another couple; I'm glad they canceled at the last minute because conversation would have been very difficult. Then there are the doors leading to outside dining: every time a server went out or back in, they closed with a loud BANG. Every. Time. BANG BANG BANG throughout the meal. We'll return to Vista for the food, but not for a group dinner with friends. Unless you're comfortable shouting to each other all evening.

This place is a hidden gem located in the Fenwick Inn. My fiancé and I arrived as the sun was setting and the views were beautiful. You have the best of both worlds with views of both the bay and ocean from almost any seat in the restaurant. We started off with an order of the house bread, which was some of the best bread I've ever had. For entrees, my fiancé and I split the 14 oz. New York strip and Caesar salad. The steak was cooked perfectly and we loved the heaping of melted butter that came on the steak. The Caesar salad was just okay. There were quite a few brown lettuce pieces, which wasn't great. Overall, it was a nice dinner and we'll definitely be back for happy hour to try more of the menu.

    Shrimp and grits.

The location is very misleading. It's at the rooftop of a hotel that doesn't look very special from the outside. But upstairs in the restaurant is beautiful. Waitstaff was attentive and the drinks were delicious (espresso martini and a summer spritz, underage daughter had the sober spritz which she liked too). Calamari appetizer was fried very well, but a little salty for my taste. Main courses were on the pricier side. Steak stirfry received a great review as did the burger. Crabcakes were delicious and not filled with too much filler and the shrimp and grits were good although also a little bit salty. The portions were huge and we took three out of four dishes home as leftovers. Nice bonus was that they have a Photographer that comes around and takes your picture and then we'll sell you the photos if you wish. We did buy them because we were on vacation! They were not the best pictures but they did capture the essence and happy to display them.

Great food and service. Music from 4-7 daily and great happy hour. Make reservations.

I was searching for a great espresso martini to start off the evening in OC and trusted my fellow Yelp squad--and was glad I did! The espresso martini was fantastic and the outdoor rooftop seating was fun for a drink. The vibes are cute!

Sat at the bar for nfl specials. Nothing really special- definitely not drinks. Flatbread is supposed to have prosciutto. See pic. When have you ever seen think cut ??? Flavorless, inconsistent thickness, just looks far better then it tastes. Bar area and drinks for a high end restaurant is much more low grade smirnoff(seriously)? I did question the prosciutto (similar to another review where the questioned the rice in the risotto). Just poor quality

We came to this restaurant at the recommendation of my daughter who recently visited with some friends. We love appetizers so we decided to make this an appetizer only night! We ordered a Caesar salad. It was nicely, dressed with not too many croutons and the lettuce was fresh. We had Bonocini- which is their version of mozzarella sticks. They could have been hotter as the cheese wasn't totally melted it inside as well as on the outside. The marinara sauce was full of flavor. We ordered the special which was the tenderloin Crostini. This was our favorite! It had so much steak and it included mushrooms, onions, and a flavorful sauce on top of the crostini. We also got the Ahi tuna Poké bowl, which was so fresh and flavorful that we were fighting over it! Another favorite was tsunami wontons which was lobster and crab over wontons. It was delicious! The calamari was crispy and flavorful. The dipping sauce was really good as well. The surface was a little slow, so therefore the reason for the four stars. Otherwise, the food makes it a five star restaurant! The view of both the bay and the ocean was an added bonus. It was worth the drive from Rehoboth Beach. We will definitely try this when we are in town again!

Good afternoon! I'm looking to take my family here one night during our stay in OC, what is the price range looking like?

Prices range from about $18 all the way up to $30+ for specials. From the bar, crushes are about $12 and martinis are about $16. The menu is online so you can see specific prices.

It's just beautiful to look out on the evening sky over the bay. So getting into it I ordered the froze at the recommendation of our server (i forget what I was between). It was good but I won't get again, I'm not big into the sweet frozen stuff so I should have known better, but I was trying something different. As a table we started with warm cornbread. Myself and my daughter got the shrimp and grits, can't ever go wrong! My father got the big fat crab cakes (his go to staple), and my mom went with simple fried shrimp. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and my daughter couldn't wait for dessert. Although I was too stuffed we got the triple chocolate brownie sundae at my daughter's request to celebrate my bday. I couldn't snap a photo before she dug in!! Service was wonderful, manager even came over to be sure everything was well. He even snapped a family photo for us on our way out. Will return for sure!!

I've been telling my wife for the past year how much she'd love it and it definitely didn't disappoint! My parents arrived in town earlier than we did and stopped here for happy hour without us, but we all made it back later in the week. A must try if you love oysters & clams -- just make sure you arrive a little before they open (4pm) because the bar fills up quickly!). We started with the star of the show, the raw bar of course! Between the 4 of us we had multiple orders of clams and oysters. We love oysters and a good buck-a-shuck is so difficult to find near us in Jersey, so we had to take advantage of this one. The oysters and clams always taste fresh--we've never had a bad one here. The calamari is tender and lightly breaded. The burger is a phenomenal deal served with their house-cut boardwalk fries that are to die for if you're a French fry aficionado! The food, both quality and prices, makes Catch 54 really stand out compared to so many other bars and restaurants of similar stature. My aunt loves crab cakes and said Catch 54's crab cake was phenomenal. Better than many other crab cakes she's had locally. Our drink orders included draft beer, the Sunset Spritz, and the Pineapple Martini (which was delicious and on happy hour!). The bartenders were great! Friendly, personable, attentive, made great drinks, and even remembered us from last year. That's unbelievable considering the number of customers they serve every night. Aside from the incredible, food-forward Happy Hour & daily Buck-a-Shuck (including weekends), another thing that sets Catch 54 apart from many other local restaurants we frequent in the area is the updated, modern decor and upscale, yet still casual, aesthetic that hits you as soon as you walk in. I've yet to experience anything but happy hour, but it feels like a place I'd take my wife for a dinner date. My only disappointment comes from myself -- I was only able to stop n once during our annual vacation but we made the most of it. Next year I'm going to make it a point to stop in more frequently.
