My wife and I took our golden retriever out for a walk and had a great lunch overlooking the canal. We were greeted with our pup as soon as we entered. The food was excellent and the service just as good! Highly recommend if you like to bring your canine along.

This places is consistently good! Great big outdoor bar. Deck seating. Indoor seating &&& picnic table seating down on sand near playground. This is the perfect spot for families. Happy hour crushes $7 and YUMMYYYY. Lots of happy hour deals both food and bevy's. Food is always good! Bang bang shrimp and fish tacos are fantastic favorites.

We liked that they have an outdoor playground that is fully enclosed. We had the kids eat and then they were able to go outside to play while we could stay longer inside. They have happy hour every day from 4-6pm and they have great options. We really liked their calamari and the nachos were delicious too.

Service was the best part of our experience. The young waiter was very attentive and friendly. 5 stars to him! The food was just ok IMO. The Ceasar salad gave me a stomachache afterwards. The restaurant had a funny smell. Can't pinpoint exactly what it is.

We usually stay on the boardwalk and have our go to places but this year we got a place on 107th street and had to find all new dinner places. Based on yelp reviews we decided to try out Tailchasers and we were very impressed!! The service was wonderful, food was delicious and the price was not terrible. They also had a playground to occupy the kids when they were done eating the one bite of food they ate before they were full so us grownups could enjoy our meals and drinks! Also the view of the sea was also very nice!!

My daughter and I were in OC at our beach house and wanted a yummy dinner. Tailchasers is one of our fave spots. Be prepared to wait, we waited about 45 minutes but there is a cute store next door so we did some shopping. The hostess asked if we preferred inside or outside, outside of course. I had the tuna special of the night. It advertised having a charred corn and jalapeño salsa but did not come with that and although it would have benefited from the spice and acid it was still fresh and tasty. Our waiter mentioned they could do a watermelon crush and I was all about it. Our server was attentive and kind, as were all who worked here. We will absolutely be back and I recommend you give it a try.

Our first time here was a great experience. Wait time said an hour, but were actually seated within 20 min. Nice atmosphere and server. Wait time for food wasn't long. Had crab cake sandwich, and fried chicken sandwich. We would definitely come again!

Had about a twenty minute wait during busy season. We were seated on the deck which is dog friendly! We started off with the crab dip and kettle chips. The crab dip was really good and I couldn't get enough of the old bay kettle chips. For entrees, we ordered the nacho mama grilled cheese, soft crab BLT, smashburger, and jerk chicken sandwich. I haven't stopped thinking about the grilled cheese since I had it. One of my favorite sandwiches! My fiancé really enjoyed the soft shell crab sandwich- said it's one of the only soft shell's he's had that was properly seasoned. Everyone else in our party enjoyed their food. Our waitress, Isabella, was so sweet. The bacon on the soft crab BLT was missing but she quickly got us a plate of bacon and made sure our drink glasses were full throughout dinner. Can't wait to return next summer!

Friday evening, Labor Day Weekend Edition: We needed food fast and I was really wanting to grub on seafood since naturally, we're at the beach. With little ones, we knew we couldn't go anywhere quickly, so we ordered takeout. Calamari - Decent Cioppino - The base was well done. They did not skimp on the seafood, a little on the crostini they provided, but several pieces tasted extra "ammonia-y." I didn't finish after the second ammonia bite because I did not want to be hugging the toilet the rest of the trip (better safe than sorry). We asked to sub pesto fries instead of regular fries with our burger, but got charged for pesto fries on the side. The pesto fries were disappointing because it was (oily) pesto sauce over fries. Hubs burger was overcooked. Truffle Smashed Potatoes were not good: they were oily and had zero truffle taste and too much horseradish. I couldn't stomach finishing it. Standard pricing with other similar seafood restaurants in the area. If you're craving seafood, this isn't great, but it's not terrible either.

We arrived around 6 on a Saturday night and the place is busy (it always is). We are greeted in an ok time, it took longer than ever before (and we've been there when it's been busier). The young lady greeted us, took our order and left. We ordered boneless wings, fries, crab cakes, and soup. She came back about 5 mins later and said they sold out of crab cakes. I get it's the off season, but there really is no off season at Fast Eddies. So we ordered something significantly cheaper from the menu. When the food came out, it was just ok. My boneless wings were way overdone and the crab burger was just ok. When the check came, it seemed to be a little high, like she never adjusted the pricing from the crab cake dinner. We never received the itemized receipt and after she dropped the slip to sign, we didn't see her again. So we just signed the receipt and left, as we had plans to get to. I don't know if we'll be back to be completely honest.

It's open Sunday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM Friday and Saturday. My friends and I had a list of spots to try this year, and this one was at the top. We'd heard nothing but great things, so I'm happy to say it didn't disappoint. All the food was enjoyable and our server Vern made sure we were well taken care of. We kicked things off with the Cherry Bomb Calamari and the Scallops Tagliatelle. The calamari, topped with toasted coconut and served with Shanghai aioli, was good, but the tagliatelle was the standout. Perfectly seared dayboat scallops paired with housemade tagliatelle in a truffle butter sauce, with peas, pancetta, Parmesan, and a drizzle of jus gras. Rich, fresh, and beautifully balanced. Next, I tried the cream of crab soup, made with fresh Maryland jumbo lump crab meat. The flavor was rich and well-balanced, but I did encounter a few shell fragments. A truly great bowl of cream of crab should be smooth and shell-free. For our entrees, we ordered the smoked cheddar pierogies, the red wine braised short rib, and the filet mignon. While everything was delicious, the filet was by far the best. You can choose from three preparation styles, we had it blackened, and it was cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection. It's a dish I'd happily come back for.

Wow, thats what I've got for you folks wow…read more Lets start with ambiance, its cute here i loved it. Its a small, quaint little downstairs with more space upstairs. The decor is spot on, just so nice all around! Let's go on to the service. I'm going to shout out Caleb he was great all around very attentive. Answered all my annoying questions haha. Really fantastic. The wait times for food were just right, didn't take too long but didn't rush you. So now for me to talk way too much. OH MY GOD THE FOOD! This is easily the best food I've had in southern delaware. Hands down, full stop. I got a blackened catfish over a red beet salad. The fish was fresh! Yes fresh in February I'm impressed. The blackened seasoning was so good, just spicy enough to make me smile but not too spicy to be unpleasant. Flaky and perfectly cooked I was not disappointed in any way or another. How about the salad? Well, it was a kale salad which I'm not normally a fan of. But the elements of the salad were perfect, the toasted walnuts, the beets, apples, just everything about married in flawless harmony. Even my mother-in-law agreed the kale salad was great. 10/10, 5/5, whatever you want to call it this was an out of the park experience! Drinks, a new addition to my review this week haha. The bar tenders do a "great pour" per my wife and father-in-law. Me, I stick with non-alcoholic and oh man they nailed that too. This is just all good, like whole thing is great. Thank you for an awesome lunch, keep rolling folks!

I will summarize my two most recent family dinners here during the Thanksgiving and Christmas weekends: Marlene took our 5:30 PM dinner reservation over the phone. I was here with my family of nine including two children for Friday night dinner after Thanksgiving day upstairs at a corner table. I started with my spicy margarita for $14. We also shared a bottle of Duckhorn Decoy Brut champagne for $52, which was reduced down to $26 by 50% off due to Friday 50% off on all wine bottles. The Decoy brut champagne was excellent. We also shared and enjoyed the crab dip for $21. We also shared and enjoyed three dozen raw oysters samplers for a total of $81. I also enjoyed my crispy duck confit special with pappardelle, basil pesto, fried onion and garlic chilli vinaigrette for $32. My total bill was $455 excluding gratuity. Morelia C. (nicknamed Mo) served us very well as usual despite us having two children. We first met Mo, when she bartended at the downstairs bar, when we were here prior for many Sunday afternoon happy hours. We returned here again with my larger family of 14 including five children for dinner on the Saturday after Christmas. We had a 5:30 PM dinner reservation. We were again seated immediately upstairs. I started with and enjoyed my two Makers Mark Manhattans up for $15 each. We also shared and enjoyed two dozen raw oysters samplers for $27 per dozen. We also ordered and enjoyed one dozen of the more expensive Raspberry Points for $48. Raspberry Point Oysters are premium, cold-water farmed oysters from Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada, prized for their firm meat, distinct briny flavor with a sweet finish, and deep cups, taking 5-7 years to mature in New London Bay's tidal waters. They're known for being easy to shuck and popular in gourmet settings due to their consistent quality and appealing salty-sweet profile. We also shared the calamari for $17 and the devilled eggs for $19. I also enjoyed my confit lamb shank for $38. Caleb M. served us very well despite us having five children. My total bill was $737 excluding gratuity. Caleb applied our Indian River High School band 10% discount to our bill, which reduced the total from $737 down to $663 excluding gratuity. On Sunday's our favorite bartender is Nick C. Nick said hello, when we visited during the Thanksgiving holiday. We will continue to return here with family and friends for happy hour, lunch or dinner.
