Food. Service and ambiance were spectacular! If you're into crab deviled eggs, chef specials, and amazing hand crafted cocktails, this is a must!

A great spot for a hearty dinner plate or sandwich. The inside is warm and inviting and slightly upscale while also have the vibe of a local bar. The food is a little pricey but they have an option for everyone. We tried the steak, a swordfish special and salmon. The special came with little bits of pork belly and was definitely my favorite! Service was friendly, helpful, and relatively fast. Will definitely be back!

Nice experience at the Pines Public House. The smoked Chilean sea bass fish dip with crostini was so good. The Asian cheese steak nachos with flank steak did not disappoint. My friend said the Baked brie pastry with jam keeps her coming back. Next time. The food is pretty good and with their Happy Hour specials its 100% worth visiting. Pub food, loud atmosphere, and super friendly people, golfers and staff. During the week they have different food specials for each day of the week. (see pics).

I have now been here twice. Food quality on both trips was really good and lots of options to choose from. Both visits were with large parties and staff for service was efficient. I did not get an alcoholic drink this trip but everyone at our table loved what they got. Good beers on tap too. TIP: The dessert cakes are HUGE and soooo good!!

Good service. Drinks came out in a timely manner. Food was good. Server came by the right amount of times to check in on us. All in all a pleasant experience and would visit again.

Not worth it. Needs better food and options. Better places are Star at River Run and Atlantic Hotel.

Just the…read morenight before, we had a great crab dinner at another OC restaurant and gave them five stars--but this was on another level. We ordered steamed large crabs; it was juicy, and unbelievably sweet--you could taste the freshness. You break the claws and the juice literally drips out--so good. The oysters? Also insanely fresh. Just wow. The service was excellent as well. While it's not a full-service restaurant, the staff were incredibly friendly. They even welcomed my dog on the outdoor patio and brought him a bowl of ice water. The owner was kind and shared that everything is fresh, caught daily, and made to order--which explains the wait time for the steamed crabs and also what sets them apart from other places. I'll absolutely be back the next time I'm in the area and highly recommend it to anyone who truly appreciates top-quality seafood.

The casual seating and plenty of shaded outdoor space is a huge draw too! It's such a nice casual counter service, perfect for a family dinner after a beach day. However, I felt like the portions are cheap and the flavor is severely lacking. I think they cook everything and then add seasoning after cooking instead of cooking with it. I was chocking on tons of dry seasoning. With the amount of seasoning, it also lacked salt, so even though it had tons of seasoning, it still seemed bland. It was unreal. I won't be returning, but for cracking crabs and having something else to order for the non crab people at the table, it a good choice. I would not choose this place for getting a fish dish.

Everyone is kind and knowledgeable. Everything is fresh and delicious! It's a little pricy. But, it's worth every penny. They have outdoor seating. So, if the weather is bad. Be ready, to take it to go. Every time we're in town, Crabs-To-Go is our go to spot. We've ordered crab cakes, cream of crab soup, and plenty of other sides. The cream of crab soup is my favorite. It's creamy, flavorful, and rich. You will get a bite of crab in every spoon full. It's sweet, flaky, and delicate! Pure heaven. Make sure to stir it if you're sharing. The crab falls all to the bottom. Cream of Crab Soup- This soup is smooth, rich, and velvety. It is made in house the potatoes are soft and creamy, the vegetables are soft and flavorful, and the crab melts in your mouth! If you love crab, this soup is made for you. It has so many layers of dreamy, delicious, seafood flavors. It's very rich. So, don't eat too much, lol. Try your best to control yourself. Maryland Crab Cake Meal-This meal is a little bit pricy is cost $45 for two crab cakes and two sides. But, it's worth it! The crab cakes are crumbly, and crispy on the outside. And, light and flaky on the inside. They're briny, savory, and delicious all in one bite I like it with just a touch of freshly squeezed lemon juice. It adds that fresh pop of acidity that ties the whole dish together. Onion Rings- The onion rings were crunchy, crispy, and chewy on the outside, and juicy, sweet, and succulent on the inside. They were cooked to perfection! One of the best onion rings that I've ever had! FRIES The fries were crispy and crunchy on the outside while being creamy on fluffy on the inside. They were pure heaven! And, they had a zesty salty seasoning on the outside that made them pure perfection! All in all, from the minute that you walk up to the second that you walk out. Everything is absolutely perfect! If you come here, you'll definitely have a new favorite spot to come. But, most of all. You'll have a heavily meal. No mater, what you choose to get. So, stop by for some fresh seafood. You won't regret it!

Aug. 2025 | A+ Service, Legendary Breakfast…read more Customer service - 5 out of 5 Wait time - 5 out of 5 Cleanliness - 5 out of 5 Atmosphere - 5 out of 5 Food quality - 5 out of 5 So many great things to say about this place, but let's start with the standout... Customer Service: Hands down the best we experienced during our 9-day family trip to OCMD. Karri, our waitress, made us feel like family, loved her. Jeff & Mike were professional, friendly, and made a point to engage with every table. Breakfast? PHENOMENAL. Best we've had, not just this summer, but in all our years visiting OCMD. My wife and son agree. Everything was homemade and cooked to order. No frozen shortcuts. Portions were just right, flavors balanced beautifully, and nothing overly sweet. Nashville Hot Stuffed French Toast: The bourbon and caramelized apples stole the show. Chicken was a fun twist, though next time I'd get it on the side to keep the sweet and spicy separate. You can skip the chicken altogether and save $4 if you'd like. Banana Foster French Toast: Mind-blowing. The kind of dish that makes you question everything you've ever called "breakfast." Plate was licked clean. Already dreaming of it for summer 2026. Creamed Chipped Beef over Biscuits: Shared this one. Generous portion, nostalgic flavor, clearly a recipe passed down and perfected. Triple Decker: My son had the chocolate chip pancakes, huge portion, perfect texture, and he loved every bite. Only minor con: straws come unwrapped in your drink. Not a dealbreaker, but something to note. Final score: 25/25. Solid A+. Verdict: Highly recommended. We'll be back in summer 2026, no question.

When we first arrived, around 10:30am, the place was already full of people and a few people were lined up to get their name on the waitlist. We waited about 5min and a lady asked if anybody minded sitting in this corner table behind the bar in the back of the restaurant and we didn't mind so we immediately took the spot. If anything, we liked that it was in a more quiet and secluded area away from the other guests! The waitress was very friendly and joked around with us and also gave us suggestions on what to get on the menu. The food came quickly and everything was delicious! We ordered the homemade biscuit with sausage gravy as well as the Surfing Benedict and the Banana Foster Roll. Left feeling very full and satisfied!
