My husband ordered the Bad Monkey Breakfast with an iced coffee, while I enjoyed a side of scrambled eggs and the Nutella French Toast from the kids' menu. Our favorite part of every breakfast is the delicious monkey bread--it's always a treat! Everything was delicious and our server Colin was attentive. If I could change one thing, it would be the opening time. We are early risers and wish we didn't have to wait until 8:30 for breakfast. Perhaps if it opened earlier, we'd come even more often?

I ordered the "Hungry Monkey" and my husband ordered "The Meaty Monkey" and OH MY! Most restaurants do not prepare my over medium egg to my liking but Bad Monkey knew the assignment and executed it perfectly! The sausage links were browned and good, the bacon was fixed soft like I asked and they even had bacon hot sauce, lol and it was good! The cinnamon pancakes were humongous and delicious and I don't like pancakes! The fried potatoes were super good as well. My husband loved steak omelette and the bread ... freshly made bread on site is always top tier. The orange juice and coffee was fresh as well. The waiter was amazing. Food wait times were super quick and the restaurant gave off beach vibes with bad monkey theme. After eating breakfast we stopped in the gift shop downstairs abd got items to take back home. The rice was different than expected but that's traveling. It is a Spanish style rice with tomato in it. It was dry and not very much flavor. The pinto beans were fine. Chips were perfect and the queso was good. The salsa was straight Pace Picante salsa. If you're accustomed to your style of Mexican food, look elsewhere. The people were very nice and service was fine even with the lost order. The booths were small and the overall appearance looked old. It's probably and good place for margaritas and beer. Last summer was my first visit after seeing some friends recommend and following them on social media. We had their longboard wings, veggie wrap and jerk chicken wrap. Everything was DELICIOUS! On Wednesday of this week I stopped in for lunch with my dog and we sat on the 'boardwalk' which is what they call part of their outdoor section. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They offer a water bowl and a complimentary piece of bacon for the pups. My dog was thrilled as you can see by one of the pics =) On this visit I tried the wrinkled green been app and the St. Croix chopped salad. Both were very good. My dog ordered the kids burger plain with no bun. He had no complaints! I stole his fries which were yummy. Luke was our server on my most recent visit. He provided excellent service! He even helped me gain some more insight on bringing a large party there later this year. He got me in touch with one of the managers and I am currently coordinating with them. Overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants in OC and can't wait to come back in a couple months!
