Lex checked to see if it ok to grab something to eat and let me in since it was empty and they were cleaning up. They were so nice and I know it was slow but they gave great service and the smash burger was great. Tonight was a late dinner so I walked over and was happy to find out on Sundays their happy hour specials are all day (at least right now) so I got buffalo wings (they were very large) and a smash burger with a side of onion rings. They were all amazing. Paige was there again and I mentioned the other night to Erika and how great it is to have customer service at that caliber. Definitely check this place out.

We arrived around 6 on a Saturday night and the place is busy (it always is). We are greeted in an ok time, it took longer than ever before (and we've been there when it's been busier). The young lady greeted us, took our order and left. We ordered boneless wings, fries, crab cakes, and soup. She came back about 5 mins later and said they sold out of crab cakes. I get it's the off season, but there really is no off season at Fast Eddies. So we ordered something significantly cheaper from the menu. When the food came out, it was just ok. My boneless wings were way overdone and the crab burger was just ok. When the check came, it seemed to be a little high, like she never adjusted the pricing from the crab cake dinner. We never received the itemized receipt and after she dropped the slip to sign, we didn't see her again. So we just signed the receipt and left, as we had plans to get to. There were a few people already there with 3 empty seats, so he said ok. The hostess was chatting with the people sitting at the bar, not serving them. Laughing and paying not attention to anyone who entered. We walked to the bar and seated ourselves. She walked to us and said we could not sit there that the man she seated was a family member. We apologized and got back in line. At that time, another couple had walked in so we stepped in front of them and told them we were sent back to get in line. The couple asked us if anyone was seating people and I pointed to the hostess laughing behind the counter and said we have been here at least 5 minutes. About a minute or two later, the hostess approached us and greeted us by saying, we are short staffed today so I dont know how long you will have to wait. I immediately gave her my name and said table for 2. The couple behind us did the same. Within 5 minutes, the family in front of us was called, followed by us. The couple behind us was seated shortly thereafter. The reason for my message is the way we were treated was very off-putting. I felt like we were being encouraged to leave, not all welcome. I really like it there but this woman was the worst hostess. Maybe she was just having a bad day but I wanted to approach her to say how awful we were treated but was worried we would be made to leave. I sent a private Fb message but did not get a reply.

She made a few mistakes but fixed then and apoligized and fix everything. The waiter on the other hand was not engaging first day he took our order and never interacted with him until we had to ask for more drinks and then he slapped the check on our table. We are int he process of calling as we were charged for our breakfast because he must have not put us in as part of our package. 2nd interaction was better and brought more drinks before we had to ask.
