We walked on 9/10/26 at 6:15 pm. The hostess was so rude. We asked if we could pick where we sat, she rolled her eyes, gave me and my father a disgusted look and said "sure" in a rude manner. She continued to give us dirty looks and then proceeds to ask me in an abrasive and intimidating manner "IS SOMETHING WRONG?" She literally looked like she wanted to fight me. I felt unwelcomed and quite frankly unsafe in this establishment. She was being rude and condescending the whole interaction. I was so disgusted by this interaction and lost my appetite. I couldn't sit down and eat here, so we walked out. She was very unwelcoming and intimidating. Customers beware of non customer service. read more

We waited 45 minutes for our food, which would have been more tolerable if the service wasn't so poor. Our waitress never once refilled our drinks or checked in, and we weren't the only ones frustrated. While we sat there, we watched another couple walk out after waiting far too long just to place a drink order. When the food finally arrived, it simply wasn't good enough to justify the long wait and lack of attention. I never complain about service but when it's like this and the food isn't good I just would not endorse business like this. read more

I got the smash burger and my hubby got the beef cheesecake and we split fries. Both sandwiches were delicious as were the cutely shaped fries. Tried to go back a couple of times later in the week but they weren't open even though Yelp showed them as open. We were very disappointed! read more

The food was amazing. I'm very picky about my salmon, and theirs was the best I've ever had. Their cod was also very good, same with their classic burger. The service was amazing, the waitress was so sweet, and got us refills without us asking. The waitress, also check on us, a few times which was very nice. The restaurant was overall very nice, and clean, the service and food was wonderful. I definitely recommend going, I'll definitely be going back. read more

Went there for half price pizza and the pizza flavors themselves were fine but its a way chewier pizza than I'd prefer, almost like a Pappa Johns and I can get that kind anywhere. decent ambiance inside and while the staff tried to stay attentive it appeared to be between shifts or something so they kept forgetting little things like offering us another beer and we had asked for parmesan cheese. I see other comments similar so thats something you all can work on. read more

We happened upon this place because we say they were running a Monday special of half off entrees. We were beyond surprised with the food quality and how lovely the waitress was. The atmosphere was wonderful, it was very warm and welcoming. The taste of all of the food was excellent. Highly recommend and can't wait to be back! read more

The hostess 10/10. Very friendly and we (party of 2) was seated immediately. After almost 15 minutes the HOSTESS came to take our order since neither of the two waitress/waiter declined to stop and take our order. When the server FINALLY brought our drinks he was FULL of excuses as to why we were sitting for ever without anyone coming over. Now into the food..... hubs had the cottage pie which had mushrooms (that was NOT listed so beware). Overall he said it was ok. I had the big chop salad - which came out without ANY meat-- but once again the hostess with the mostest came in for the save and got my salad fixed. Great new place. The French onion soup was very good. And they had live football games on with sound! Looking forward to trying it again. We tried the tuna nachos. They were good but the wonton chips were a bit greasy. We want to try the burgers next time because people next to us were raving about them. read more

We have been to this restaurant 3 times and each time we have waited 30-45 minutes to be acknowledged by a waitress, then another 30 minutes for our food. The food was good and we hoped that we just hit them at a bad time but the service has been consistently poor. Today we waited 45 minutes with no acknowledgment then had to go to the bar and order our drinks. By the time our food finally came out our drinks were empty, we ordered more drinks and we asked for more ketchup. 15 minutes later our drinks came...no ketchup. It took over 1hour and 45 minutes for a couple of beers and a couple of burgers. I always give a restaurant a second chance and in this case a third chance, but I could not recommend this place read more

Stopped by for a bite to eat due to heavy traffic. Was seated quickly, unfortunately we waited for about 10 minutes and no server. A family got seated next to us a few minutes later and were greeted and asked what they would like to drink. Server completely skipped us. Waited another 5 minutes and she then came back with their drinks and asked if they were ready to order food. We decided to leave because the service was terrible. I Held a suprise Birthday Party for my wife at Smashed Bar and Grill for 50 people on Saturday , July 26th, 2025 and I will have to say that Jason and his crew at Smashed Bar and Grill knocked it out of the park!!! The appetizers of Meatballs ,Bang Bang Shrimp , Sliders , Old Bay & Hot wings were great, my guest Loved them all. The main course of Smashed Meatloaf & Onion Gravy and the Chicken Chesapeake , grilled Asparagus and Arugula Salad were a hit for my Guest aswell. The servers that we had for our event Meghan & Kristy did a Fantastic Job and the drinks from the Bar Great!! I Highly recomend Smashed Bar & Grill for a large party group or just for diner and drinks Jason and his crew, is up for the task at hand. Went here with my wife and had the greatest time loved the food and the Waiter "Grayson" was amazing had a smile on his face and took care of us!!! if you want a killer smash burger and a cool place full of cool people this is the place to be!!! And I'd like to add we came in and hour before close and working sales myself I understand that can be upsetting but I can say they didn't bat and eye and laugh and joked the whole night!!! read more

Zach, our server, was nice and the food was good. My husband and I ordered one of the draft beers on the menu and told they were out, ok, no big deal. I ordered a vodka tonic with fresh lime, and it tasted absolutely terrible. Kindly asked to have another one made, and when it was delivered, it tasted exactly the same...awful! It left a nasty aftertaste and was barely palatable. I then asked for it to be replaced by another random beer on the draft list to keep things simple. I asked our server if maybe there was something wrong with the tonic and he let me know that he decided to give me a happy hour vodka tonic which used aristocrat vodka. If anybody knows anything about anything aristocrat is absolutely disgusting and can't even be disguised with other flavors. We got our check and there sat the charge for the vodka..though we spent quite a bit of money on food! I was informed that the manager was unwilling to remove the drink from the check which for them cost pennies on the dollar and I just find it to be bad management. Bottom line is you want people coming back consistently. I'm not saying I wont go back if I happen to be in the area and hungry or wanting a quick brewski but not an out of my way joint. read more

Smashed Bar and Grille has taken over the dining portion of Fox Pizza. Fox is now carry out/delivery only. They are owned by the group that owns Ocean Pines Public House and Chef Tony is there for at least the early days. They are somehow connected with Fox as their Wednesday pasta specials were from that side. We had some fantastic (best ever!) food there and a couple of misses. The Shrimp Tempura appetizer was awesome although I would not call it tempura. The coasting is more akin to fried rather than a true tempura batter. That being said, the 2 Asian style sauces and scallions took this over the top and with large, juicy, perfectly cooked shrimp, we will definitely order this again. The Angry Onions were also terrific. A mix of fried onions and fried jalapenos with a drizzle of 2 sauces, they were spicy as advertised and unique. Another winner! The best of all was the Meatloaf. We have been searching for an outstanding meatloaf for ages and this is our pick. The side dishes of broccolini and mashed potatoes were equally outstanding; the onion gravy superb. This was a chef inspired, chef designed, chef executed dish of the highest order. I hope they can keep this standard if Chef Tony doesn't stay. We were blown away! Sadly, The spaghetti and meat sauce from Fox's could not compare, and the garlic toast was one of the worst ever. We only went to Fox one time when they had the dine in service and I suspect this is why they didn't continue. They might make good pizza (we've never had theirs) but the pasta and sauce were not well done. We are big fans of the food prepared on the Smashed side and will go back as regulars as long as they can keep this level of quality. Service was good. They were accommodating to my need for a lower volume of music. And we left happy, stuffed, and with lots of leftovers. read more
