If you're looking for a waterfront spot with a great view and satisfying beach food, I definitely recommend The Wedge Bar at the south end of the Ocean City Boardwalk. The conch fritters were crispy on the outside, tender inside, and paired perfectly with the tangy citrus mustard dipping sauce. The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right, while the Crispy Fish BLT delivered a crunchy, flaky fish fillet with fresh lettuce, tomato, and crispy bacon on a torpedo roll. I also really love their fries! My husband got the Stonejack baller, it was really good as well. The portions were generous, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the inlet views made the meal even better. It's a great place to enjoy good food while taking in one of the best waterfront views in Ocean City. We came also perfect timing as they have a band singing. The only few complains I have was we waited for few minutes even they were a lot of available tables outside (not sure why-maybe reservation?) also our waitress gave us all drinks except for one, and it also took few minutes before she came back for that drink. After flying in from Chicago and driving to the ocean with my friend, this was our first meal and boy did they not disappoint. The view is absolutely fantastic! It's at the end of the pier so just a different view than anywhere else. The service was wonderful - our waitress was so accommodating and helpful. If you're looking for an outdoor spot with beautiful views, The Wedge is the place to go. Situated right on the boardwalk you get a great view of the OC inlet and Assateague Island as well as the Ferris Wheel. The drinks were delicious and we enjoyed just sitting and experiencing the weather and the sights. Our waiter was outgoing and a pleasure to talk to and the bartender made one of the strongest mojitos I've tasted, which is a good thing. We decided not to try the food but we'll be back. read more

Great spot right on the inlet, very good food, excellent and friendly service, but I will never go back due to the unwarranted and rude treatment I received from the manager. When I spoke with the hostess upon arrival, wearing my backpack, I explained that I wanted to have lunch, but that I also needed to knock out some quick work on my laptop - so to please put me as far out of the way as possible. She was great and stuck me way in the back at their inside bar where there was not a single other patron (it was gorgeous outside and the few customers they had were all outside). I had a great experience with the back bartender, he served me a good burger and soda, and all was well in the world. I finished my lunch and begun handling some critical work I needed my laptop for. Still good. They cleared my finished dishes away, but had not yet brought me my bill to pay. So I am back to work at the laptop minding my own business when the manager comes over and hits me with a loud "This is not a library!" -- I can only surmise that he didn't know I just ate there, but he did not give me time to even say that, nor did he ask his bartender -- he just began loudly humiliating me and saying "We're gonna need these seats!" So I kept cool and said OK, I will close up and move on, but first I need- (and I would've said "to pay my bill") but he cut me off and fumed "You don't need to do anything but leave, right now! RIGHT now!" Unreal. I still paid my bill of course, and tipped my nice bartender 20%+, but it was really crazy to be treated with such hostility. On my shameful walk out after being yelled at, I noticed that the restaurant outside had filled some more while I was in the empty inside bar, but even outside it was less than 50% full. Crazy. He must've been having a bad day and decided to take it out on me for whatever reason - but it's not acceptable, and I've told LOTS of people this since it happened a few days ago. read more

The view is spectacular to overlook the water while on the roof. The food was really good, we loved the goat cheese balls and my wedge was delicious. The kids meals were plentiful as well. The blackened shrimp on the tacos was seasoned perfectly but put on a cold tortilla with unmelted cheese, so the tacos were cold except for the shrimp. Would have been great if heated. The pirate juice was great. The sangria was just wine in a half filled glass with fruit; it would have been better with ice and some OJ and sprite mixed in. Checked out the Wedge for a nice evening dinner. They have a small parking lot on the side of the building, that was nice. Restaurant is essentially on a deck by the water, great views and is really highlighted during the summer months, they do have indoor seating for those curious. Started out with a couple drinks and got the Conch Fritters for an app, those were my favorite part of the meal. Very tasty and absolutely loved the citrus mustard dipping sauce it came with, star of the show. For our entrees we got the Dirty Bird which was their grilled chicken with some bacon, arugula, tomato and an herb truffle mayo, wife enjoyed. I got the Rockfish sandwich. Really nice piece of fish with some tomato, red onion and some cilantro tartar on a bun. Fries were excellent as well. Service was attentive and friendly but my wife was very disappointed that a place called the Wedge would not have this type of salad, evidently they ran out of iceberg lettuce, that simply cannot happen. I visited at 6PM on Saturday during the 2025 Country Calling Festival. We only had to wait 20 minutes for a table. The menu is well balanced (burgers and fries, but also hummus and farm house salad with add on proteins). Excellent beverage menu. It's well staffed with a lightening fast food delivery girl. We waited no longer than 10 minutes for food. The crowd here averages between 30 and 60. So limited butt cheeks are exposed. IYKYK. Comfortable atmosphere and beautiful place to watch the sun set on the harbor and watch the boats coming in. We didn't want something on the boardwalk - we were over the crowds and most things have been just okay that we've had here so far food wise in ocean city. This was such a welcome surprise! The view here is incredible and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The food was so good! I had the dirty bird sandwich and it was huge. I didn't think there was any way I'd finish it but it was so tasty I ended up eating all of it and most of the pile of seasoned fries that went with it. The prices were not bad at all either. My friend ordered the wedge salad and another ordered the warm lobster roll (pro tip ask the price of that before you order it- whoops!!). They loved their meals. Our waitress was great- we picked her brain for some good local boutiques and she pointed us to a great one. I can't recommend this place enough - go! read more

Spent $120 (with tip) for dinner for three. Frozen mango margarita was the only drink ordered, at $12 it was served in a smaller plastic cup and pretty sure the bartender forgot the alcohol. Had the goat cheese croquettes at $14, only three hush puppie-sized croquettes were served. Nothing special about those. One of us had the soft shell crab sandwich, very small that it fit on a brioche hamburger roll, with romaine lettuce and tomato, and a cilantro tartar sauce that didn't add much. I had the crispy fish BLT at $19 which was a fried haddock strip (looked like the frozen fish filets from Costco) served on a ciabatta roll with applewood bacon, tomato and that cilantro tartar, was supposed to be with shredded lettuce per the menu but it was served with a slice of romaine. The roll totally fell apart and I tried to eat it with a fork and knife, even asked for additional tartar sauce on the side, and added some slivered onion garnish from the soft shell sandwich, but there was no saving this bland, inedible uninspired mess. The French fries were standard frozen fare seasoned with old bay and some other seasonings. Waitress was fine but she didn't seem interested enough to ask why most of my meal was still on my plate when she collected it at the end. Considering it was at her suggestion I order it, you think she would have asked. Maybe I should have stuck with my plan to order some wings. The other order was the fried oysters at $17. There were five oysters on the plate with a weird summer slaw that was more like a garnish. The kind no one eats. The view was nice. For that amount of money, we could have enjoyed a much better meal at any number of restaurants in OCMD. read more

We went on the third weekend in October during sunfest. It was their closing weekend, so their menu was still expansive, but they were out of a few items. That wasn't a set back, the server informed us what they were out of, but it didn't impact a good meal. Their goat cheese croquettes were absolutely delicious, and I personally think it was a nice size for being a small plate appetizer. That being said, I think some people might want to order 2 plates of it. I got the Dirty Bird sandwich, which was seasoned well and the chicken was really tender and cooked to perfection. I had the Peach Tea cocktail, which was dangerous because you could not taste the alcohol. My partner got the Rockfish Tacos which were also seasoned well. The food and drinks were reasonably priced. The view was fantastic from the deck and bar. You could look out onto the inlet channel where the boats would go out onto the ocean. You also had a beautiful sunset. read more
