Two words... Orange Crush. Ok, a few more words... the bartenders here are absolutely outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and they make one heck of a drink. read more

Woo woo's are a fairly tasty cheap drink. Crushes are good but a bit pricey for how weak they were. They had some pool tables and the bar fills up quickly so if you want to sit get there early. I haven't had their food but plenty of other guests were ordering and much of it looked good to me. This bar is on our rounds so we will be back for sure. read more

I don't know what kind of freon is in that mug freezer, but it crisps those mugs up in less than 30 seconds. I know, I know, this is the Cold Beer Capital of the World. A must stop whenever in OCMD... especially in the summer! What's overlooked here though, are the wings. Some of the best in the Mid-Atlantic. Those Boom Boom's are a must. Pair well with an brain freeze inducing brewski. Tourist or local, this place is a must go to when in OCMD. I wear my merch all over the world and people try to claim they know a place with colder beer, but I haven't found it yet. read more

Cutting off the boardwalk just a few steps, you will find a charming pub called Cork Bar that is worth popping into. Grab a stool barside surrounded by FD tribute type decor. Expect classic draft beers on tap that actually get served in a clean chilled mug. Talk about refreshing after being out in the sun for a little. The bartender was kind and quick to get whatever asked. Pricing was fair and not overpriced just because it's on/near boardwalk. Bathroom was well kept and in better shape than anticipated. They even sell some fun merchandise/shirts. If in the area, definitely consider stopping in for at least one and not just passing by. :) read more

Came here once was a good experience, came here a second time and got denied with my real Maryland issued ID pretty embarrassing

The food here is low key and amazing. Honey BBQ wings are delicious. It's got the best vibe. The bartenders put up with. A lot of ridiculous orders. They do a great job. read more

Food isn't bad. Limited but ok beer selection. Awful stamp to get into the place that rubs off on clothing for hours and hours afterward. Massive stamp the size of a tennis ball. Just stupid. Bought a shirt that was completely ruined by it. Made an otherwise good experience regrettable. Nashville wings pretty good and so were the BBQ wings, turkey sliders, meatball sliders, tots. If we return I'm going to sacrifice the opportunity to return later in the day so I don't have to deal with the nasty stamp ruining another shirt. Day 2 update: Got them to stamp legs instead today. Had curds butger sliders turkey sliders and cheesesteak sliders. All very good. Updated to 4 stars because obnoxious stamp on leg not as bad. read more

Still day (3) of my EC road-trip and made it to Ocean City where my wife had made reservations at the Plim Plaza Hotel. I'll review the hotel later. Checked in around three and strolled around for a while. Had some local beers at a couple places and walked the boards. Soon it was time for dinner. After having tomato pie for lunch, it was time for a cheese-steak. Did not dare to drive anywhere since the hotel parking was at capacity and feared loosing my spot, besides I wanted another beer and didn't want to go to the stripey hole (jail). Walked the strip for a couple blocks each way when I came across The Cork Bar, if nothing else I can get a drink. Sat down and was greeted and handed a menu and asked what I'd have to drink. When on the road I always have a local made brew, not sure what I had but had two. Ordered the cheese-steak with fried onions, comes with fries or tots. I chose the steak fries and they were great. Waiting for my food, a group ladies and couple dudes came in wearing pink, I guess they must have just seen the Barbie movie. I could see this was the place to be when the sun goes down. The food arrived and all looked great and after that first bite, that was it, awesome sandwich. And I'll tell ya why, it was made on an Amoroso roll, the quintessential roll all Philly steaks are made with. You can't call it a Philly Cheese-steak if it's not on a Amoroso roll, it's just a cheese-steak. I finished the whole thing. Afterwards I bought a couple shirts and Mega-million tickets. I did not win. Looking for a Philly, drink and pool...this is the place. Peace. read more

We came to this spot 3 nights in a row (after 10pm, not during peak season). The servers are all so nice. The food was basic bar food. The drinks were great and strong. I love that the atmosphere was of a traditional bar. And they are open until 2am. We definitely aim to come back. read more

Great divey bar off boardwalk. Really well done. Great bartenders. Great people that hang there. Not sure they serve any good, but the drinks make up for it. read more

Someone told me abt this bar as I was on the beach so I checked it out. Very divey. More of a local spot or for those that come to ocean city often. They have two pool tables that I didn't go to because the ppl on the table looked serious lol. Their menu has no prices and their website has no menu. They need to hire someone for marketing for sure because this should be a bangin place right next to the amusement park. Service was good. Bartenders gave me attentions and made sure I was ok. I ordered an orange crush and it was $8.50, typically $9 everywhere else. Once I finished it, I left lol. Not my vibe. read more

From outside it looked a very normal bar , but once I went in, it was just awesome ! Live music !! Yeah .. super awesome music LIVE. Not many places had live music near boardwalk. Service was a bit slow. They had a few beers on tap .. mostly light beers ... not much of IPA options on tap. Had a quick drink z didn't have food . Priced ok. Good location , as it js pretty close to the boardwalk ... 4/5 overall read more

If you're a local it looked like it would be good place, as a first timer - won't be going back. Easy getting seat at the bar. Busy but plenty seats available. I could have been on fire with rockets going off and still been ignored - literally! Multiple bartenders look straight at me and walk away, others wouldn't make eye contact. 15 minutes before my waving got any notice - customers on either side of me getting waited on multiple times. Eventually the elder bartender came over. Handed me a menu - one for food, none for drinks. Walked away and wouldn't acknowledge my presence whenever he was near and I tried to order. Another 10 minutes pass and I move to a seat near middle of the bar. Nothing changed. I sat with menu in hand looking at all the bartenders. Another 5+ minutes pass before I all but grabbed a bartender - they still were serving on either side of me and people coming up to bar to order drinks. I placed an order for a drink and an appetizer. Both came relatively quickly as did the bill - which I paid before food even arrived. Never got another acknowledgement of my presence. I ate my food and finished my drink and left - for the first, last and only time read more

Well we tried to get into the bar but it overly crowded and made us too worried about Covid issues so we left This bar must have had 200 people in there The band was loud and people were singing with them We did find free parking at the boardwslk read more

Amazing dive bar!! Went on vacation and wanted to feel at home. When we finally came across this bar it hit the nail on the head. Great service and great atmosphere! Billy, Gavin, & Rob made our night. Marsan was working the door- he was very professional and made sure we got home safe! read more

A typical divey bar. Order food at the counter, pick up when ready. Order drinks at the bar. Was there the weekend of oceans calling music festival so they charged a $10 cover for all day access. Plenty of room at the beginning of the day. Got a table and some food. Wings were crispy and cooked well, but were old bay rubbed wings and seemed to have at least double salt. Inedible. Friends had sliders and they were happy. The whole place was totally packed by mid-afternoon and was still that way each time we stopped in throughout the night. Would have been annoyed if I had planned to go there for food or drinks. read more

Decent prices and good food. I went in with a friend last week during the evening. It wasn't super busy and the bartenders were super friendly and always there when we needed a refill. The old bay wings were huge! read more

Part of the usual swing in the 2019 Jimmy Litz Tour - we stopped here and settled in. Didn't get a chance to drink anything on this trip as Davis and I just sat and contemplated our lives. Great spot - low pressure, regular folks just getting turnt without trying to prove something. Try a grape bomb- and the prices are perfect for the area. read more

The drinks were good but everyone inside was mean and the drunk kids outside did not make it better. There are better bars but could be fun with the right crowd read more

The Cork is the Best. The parents went there when I was a little kid and now I am fortunate to own in OC and can experience the good times that the folks have. Places come and go in OC. Many have a business model to squeeze as much from tourists as they can and hope they do not remember when they return for their next vacation. The Cork is different. Billy and the gang treat everyone with friendliest and respect. It does not matter if it the busy times like FireFighter Week in June, Bike Week in September, or some sleepy winter night in February. The Cork is awesome and highly recommended to all. Tourists and Locals quickly make friends and lifelong bonds are often created here. Billy and the folks at the Cork are awesome! read more

Here for the first time during Oceans calling. Food and drink a quarter of the price than the festival but better quality. This place was slammed but the bar team killed it. Special shout out to Rob, Billy and the bar backs. Oh and football was on everywhere! We will be back! read more

Good cheesesteak sliders. Good fried pickles. Good for late night eats. We were hungry around 10pm Memorial Day weekend in OC and it seems the town goes to sleep and most restaurants are closed. Thankfully Cork Bar was open. read more

I'm sure that the owner of the Cork Bar doesn't care about a YELP review; I feel certain that it prints money, great location & nice bartenders... but we will never come back. EVER! We're locals and were in OC for the Ocean's Calling festival- Saturday afternoon on our way to the show, we stopped by the bar, had a couple of drinks, played some music, did some singing & a couple of shots with people at the bar & tipped generously. We talked after we left, that the Bar reminded us of some places that we like to frequent in New Orleans, and that we would come back. Then we went to the show, saw an act, then thought we'd come back to the Cork Bar, while they were setting up the headliner. This time there was a bouncer checking ID's at the door. My wife didn't have an ID with her & the bouncer said that there were no exceptions- now I think that my wife looks pretty good for her age, but she is 65! SIXTY FIVE! Few people would have considered her appearing underage. I understand that a "policy" is a policy, or was it just a small-minded, minimum wage employee chasing away 2 customers for life? read more

Great time at the cork. Good live music great vibes. Cool staff. Drinks at reasonable price. Owner is a Hughes Buffalo Bills fan so if you are looking for a spot to watch the game this is definitely it. Right in the OC boardwalk. Did not try any food but everything that passed is by looked delicious read more

Updating my review as our experience today was how I remember the old cork bar. The owner saw my original review and wanted us to give it another try and sent a gift card which was awesome and brought me back with 5 others. First off Madison was extremely sweet when taking our order and also went out of her way to grab us a couple needed things. The subs came out and they were delicious as were the wings. So glad we decided to give the cork bar another shot and we will definitely be back!! read more

We stopped by because we were thirsty and will come again. Super friendly and efficient bartender. Good selection of draft beers and each time we were given a new frosty mug. Didn't try food but saw kitchen making hand formed beef burgers and what was coming out of kitchen looked good. It was nice that the volume wasn't too loud so we could have a conversation. read more

Cork Bar - Coldest beer ever! - Bars Near Me - Ocean City, Maryland

Terrible bar, broke my real ID, when I confronted the bouncer about it he kicked me out.

The bouncer rejected 3/4 of our genuine IDs. He tried to take one of my friend's ID.

Refused me entry because my ID was vertical. Warning other vertical ID owners who are looking to spend their money here

Security was extremely condescending and rude when checking IDs. All customers trying to enter were over 21, but the security was making mean comments about what states people were from and was overall rude. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

Thus used to be my favorite local spot till i felt unsafe and the bartender and Owner could care less after coming here for plus years.

Cork bar is awesome. They have a bartender that has goatee, glasses and ponytail. He's great! Of all the bartenders in my numerous decades, he's the best I've ever seen. When I walk in the Cork Bar and he's not there, I'm disappointed. I only gave it four stars because the Restroom is not up to par. Clean up the restrooms and this is a five star review. read more

Food was great and they do have the coldest beer! Service was excellent! Highly recommend

It's fine for a quick rail drink or bud light. Don't eat here or use the bathroom. Definitely the place to go if you voted for Trump...

Cute little dive bar by the boardwalk with a jukebox, pool tables, and plenty of room. Didn't eat here so can't comment on the food. Bartenders were nice and there were plenty of seats. Dollar bills pinned all over the ceiling for some reason lol but it's cute. Overall it was a good time and I'd come back for another bar hopping adventure. read more
