Atmosphere was very pub lol Good crowd. Narrow between bar and seating area. Capacity can't be much but it wasn't uncomfortable. Wouldn't mind coming back if it wasn't for Henry, Harry, Whatever from the kitchen...attitude SUCKS! He shouldn't bring food to customers EVER. Not a bad visit. read more

I liked it it's divey and definitely geared towards adults but if you are looking for a casual hang and some crispy, saucy wings - it's right up your alley. I would def go back - nothing fancy but some sports on the TV, wings and a cold beer to break up the summer heat (or get out of the rain in our case) - it's a win! read more

Right off the bat, this is dive bar atmosphere. We went in there expecting very little, food wise. We were pleasantly surprised. The place is small and on busy days can feel cramped. It's worth it. All 4 of us have nothing but positive things to say about the food. The roast beef club was HUGE. The beef was tasty and plentiful. The chicken tenders Nere phenomenal with great seasoning and cooked perfectly. The French Dop was amazing. Two diners who eat French Dip regularly said i was the best they had and surpassed the place they get it at home. The French fries? Wow. A basket of fries was enough to feed the whole table and the seasoning was amazing. Now let's talk about their chips. When you see homemade chips on a menu you know it's usually a vanity, cheap filler. This is NOT THE CASE here. The Kirby chips are CRAZY good. One diner who.will not eat chips tried one and said even though he's not a chip eater these had an amazing taste. We had sodas, 2 mixed drinks and a draft. Beer was ICE cold. Mixed drinks were perfect. Definitely not watered down. The atmosphere is dive bar. Not my scene and almost walked out. The music and people are loud. The space is limited. But the FOOD is amazing. I didn't expect much and now l'm embarrassed by that judgemental thought. It's so good we added their menu to our realtors' menu book in our rental. Will we be back? ABSOLUTELY and probably this week. We like to try different places but this place deserves a second visit. read more

I recently went to Kirbys for the first time. Upon entry I realized I was in a place that was more or less a dive bar filled with locals. Among the locals was a drunk obnoxious patron who was being tolerated because he was a regular. There were two bartenders/servers behind the bar. They both provided the least amount service they could to be considered on duty. The younger of the two dropped more f-bombs than anyone in the place including the drunk. She also payed most of her attention to the regulars. The older of the two took my order between her meal break. I ordered a cheeseburger which was about average and overcooked based on the temperature I ordered. On a scale of 1-10 I give this place a 6.5. I can't see any reason to return. read more

Little Locals Bar We needed a quick place to eat and popped into Kirby's. It's small with only bar seating and a handful of high tops (2s and 4s). It's tight for sure. The crowd seemed very much like a "locals" group which is almost always a good thing. It was here. The staff was very accommodating, the beer was cold and the food was good, if not simple. Definitely a good local spot. I stopped in with a few coworkers while we were there for a conference. We grabbed a high top table for six and were taken care of by the bartender. The food was all good but the entrees came out way before some of the appetizers. Not sure why a salad came out over five minutes after the entrée even though it was supposed to come first. At that point I didn't even want it. The bartender was super busy and we had to get up and go to the bar to obtain extra silverware and some drink refills. Kirby's is an incredible local spot. Friendly staff, locals, good drinks and truly delicious food! The shrimp steamers are done to perfection and served with some of the best cocktail sauce I've ever had. The Goat wings are perfection. And the French dip is out of the world. I had 2 mediocre meals in the pub. I ordered fish and chips and the fish was dry and overcooked. My second visit I ordered nachos and the topping was not as described on the menu. The kitchen must have run out of cheese because it covered one quarter of the House chips . The chips are over salted and its surprising they are on the menu. read more

Two of my friends and I came here on a Thursday night in the off season for a few drinks and some food. There weren't a lot of customers so we figured everything would be quick. When we first arrived, the bartender was attentive. Then we asked for menus and only received one for all three of us. We ordered our food and one of my friends got hers fairly quickly, but the other one got her food after the first one was almost done eating hers. Their excuse was that the kitchen was busy....but there was hardly anyone there. We asked for a medium burger and it was well done, dry, and burnt. The chips were also burnt. We tried to get the bartenders' attention multiple times for more drinks, but they were more concerned with the local customers and being on their phones. Oh, and chatting with each other. At one point, one of the bartenders looked over and saw our empty glasses but proceeded to walk away and chat with the other bartender. Overall we were not impressed with the lack of service and will not come back. read more

After COVID a whole new set and the experience has gone way down. Kirby's is known as a great local spot, even a local dive where bartenders remember you and welcome you in. At a minimum, there is a friendly smile and quick service. The bartenders have attitudes. It almost stopped me from going back... BUT the shrimp is fantastic so now I have resulted to carry out!!! Went here for lunch passing by. Ordered a cheeseburger and pub chips. The burger was huge and tasted bland. No seasoning whatsoever. Not terrible but not great. In some ways it replicated a giant meatball from how round it was instead of flat. The pub chips were good and seasoned well. Paired nice with the sour cream. But then again, how can you mess up chips. The restaurant itself was pretty dirty. The floors towards the back looked like they haven't been cleaned in weeks. Service was ok, it was a bit slow.
