What a fantastic spot in North Ocean City. Liquid Assets easily has one of the most unique interior setups in town--you are literally dining at a rustic bar built right into the middle of a full throwback beer, wine, and liquor store. The ambiance alone makes it worth the visit. I stopped in for a late lunch and went with their Pick 2 lunch combo, pairing the Caesar salad with the cream of tomato soup. The Caesar was excellent: fresh, whole romaine hearts tossed in a nice tangy dressing, topped with flavorful brown bread croutons and a solid chunk of quality cheese. The cream of tomato soup was equally good, carrying over those same rich croutons and cheese to tie the meal together seamlessly. Service was top-notch as well--the bartender was friendly and welcoming, and the kitchen churned out the food impressively fast. Great spot all around; I will definitely be back. read more

We came here after seeing yelp reviews. As with most Ocean City eateries, I was a little apprehensive. But I must say, we had a great meal, wonderful server, and enjoyed the atmosphere. It was definitely a great evening. We started with the Kung Park calamari and bread. In our group had everything from the LA burger, crabcakes, mussels, and seafood pot pie. And then we finished off with the donuts, I think I would go back just for those alone. I would recommend if you want a great meal. Liquid Assets is one of those Ocean City spots that truly stands out from the crowd. The combination of an excellent restaurant and a well-stocked liquor store creates a unique atmosphere that's perfect after a long day at the beach. As a bourbon and whiskey enthusiast, I particularly appreciated the extensive selection available here. This place is super cool! You walk in to a liquor store but it has tables and a bar for dining as well! There are some really cool sections for dining amongst the bottles of liquor. We started with a tasting board and chose three cheeses and three meats. It comes with a ton of additional accoutrements. It's a little expensive but worth it to try some fantastic cheese. I had the Cacio e pepe with scallops that was on special. I didn't love the pasta, the sauce was bland despite the peppery flavor but the scallops were well cooked and definitely the best part of the dish. For dessert we did a giant doughnut ice cream sandwich which was the star of the show. Paired with an espresso martini and I was extremely happy to finish off dinner! The cannelloni was absolutely delicious! Best thing I ate in ocean city. As a vegan, it's been years since I had a cannelloni and it was the best I ever had. My husband is a big crab cake fan and loved his entree too. I liked the cauliflower side as well. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the vegan corn soup, but I appreciate the option. My husband picked up the food and said everyone working there is very nice. I came to liquid assets for a solo dinner while traveling for work because as my previous review says, this place is a must. Cindy was my waitress this visit and she was wonderful. Friendly, prompt and helpful. I ordered the baked oysters and they were absolutely delicious. The chimichurri that came with them was a true standout for me. I loved these oysters. I also ordered the lamb burger. It had some five spice in it and a unique flavor. It was also perfectly cooked and very fresh. Overall a fantastic visit. Liquid assets does it again. We wanted to really like this place. It looks awesome and inviting. Five of us adults (50+) went for a drink last night. It was packed but we found a spot pretty quickly. We had to ask a bartender for a server. Someone came and cleaned off table and a few mins later someone came and dropped off menus. We left at least 30 mins later with no one ever coming back or anything. Employees seemed very pleasant and nice. If you're understaffed, get rid of some tables or something. Although it is a very unique place, there are plenty options to go somewhere else. read more

This one of our go to places in OCMD. A wine/liquor store with 2 bars and a restaurant. It's a very comfortable place to enjoy a beverage with a charcuterie or a nice lunch or delicious dinner. They have tables or sitting areas. 3 TVs for sports. They have a lunch special that is a good value. Awesome service, good cocktails and delicious food. What more do you need? Is this an extremely well stocked liquor store that also serves food or a really good restaurant that has a great selection of liquor for sale? Or, is it both? Lets start with imagining a liquor store that has all manner of products, from basic to premium. Everything is well organized and brightly lit. Now, intersperse that with seating, at tables and converted liquor barrels, along with a separate room that is only tables, and that's the Liquid Assets layout. For our visit, late on a Wednesday evening, we had a Margarita, a Flower Child (one of their specialty drinks, my wife is a sucker for elderflower), and split an order of wings. A must see in Ocean City for food lovers. I wish I got a photo of our chorizo sausage and kale salad too because that's what really set off our meal. Everything we ordered was creative and each dish felt so perfectly melded together. I would LOVE to go to Ocean City again literally to go to this restaurant. I think my favorite was the Lamb burger and the kale salad. Also, had so many wine options and beer and also nonalcoholic beers available. I loved the rustic and lively feel of the place. And our waitress was amazing, attentive but not overbearing. She made the experience so great. Also I'm not a big dessert person and I also don't like caramel but I tried the doughnut ice cream sandwich and it was AMAZING. Perfect for someone like me who loves savory desserts and it didn't feel overly caramely. Atmosphere.....Amazing Service........Amazing Food......mid at best.....let me explain Steak tartar lacked the flavor profile ive had at other locations, no onion essence, no capers and no hints of mustard. Tasted like raw beef with maybe some lea and perrins. The gumbo was gumbo soup not gumbo from the south. The soft shell clams didnt have any real flavor although there were a ton of components on the plate. The sauce lacked flavor which would have saved the dish. The risotto missed the mark. One of my major complaints that shined through was lack of seasoning and salt to bring it all together. The server was amazing , the ambiance so unique. We have come to OC every year for my whole life and we only learned of Liquid assets last year and it immediately became one of our favorite spots, we make it a point to come here once or even twice on every trip. Everything we've ever ordered has been amazing, and the bartenders are always top-tier -- friendly, knowledgeable, and they make the BEST drinks. Their wide awake is my absolute favorite rendition of an espresso martini anywhere, especially with the warm milk foam on top -- it's next level. The calamari is delicious, unlike I've had anywhere else, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I also had an incredible tasting board there once that I still think about. The ambiance is such a vibe -- cool, low lighting with a slightly rustic feel that makes it perfect for date night or a relaxed dinner with friends. We had the seafood pot pie (huge serving) and the scallop cacio de pepe with angel hair pasta. Dessert was out of this world. The seating throughout allowed for groups to sit at couches to enjoy charcuteries, sit at the bar, or at table tops. What truly made our visit was the exceptional service from Gilly. She was fabulous from start to finish, going above and beyond to accommodate our gluten allergies with care and expertise. So we came here because i passed a big exam today. We wanted to do alittle dinner celebration and Honestly im pretty unimpressed. Since the moment we sat down we had ordered drinks and calamari. It took about 45 minutes to get the calamarie (mind you its the begining of april... its not busy) we had to remind our server about it and her excuse was "the ticket was lost". Then they bring out our waygu steak, mind you one of the most expensive items on the menu and they cant even keep it warm while its on our way to us. I think i had 1 piece of steak that was actually warm. Fries were great and they had a great hazy IPA. But the service was terrible and the fact they cant keep their waygu warm is unbelievable to me. Heard amazing this about this restaurant but it did not live up to its expectations. read more

We were seated at the chef's table this visit, where we watched desserts being prepared, along with appetizers and maybe charcuterie? The food is always the best here or at their other properties. Such a sweet and delicious combination. As for dinner I got the potato soup and asparagus on the side. The soup was ok, nothing too special about it. The asparagus was tasty! The pesto and cheese flakes on top really added some flavor. For a drink I got the huckleberry mule and that was a refreshing option. We were seated and served fairly fast! We dined at Liquid Assets on 8/18/2025. Our food was very good. I ordered the house smoked Jalapeno Cheddar Sauasage as an appetizer and the LA Burger for my entree. My burger was medium rare, just as I ordered it !!! It was fantastic. The Jalapeno cheddar sausage was very good also. I also ordered the Flourless Chocolate cake. It was damn good. It's been several years, but coming back with a daughter after Asssateague and Liquid Assets did not disappoint. We showed up at 5:20 p.m. in early March, so there was plenty of room, but by the time we left, the place was pretty full - on a Tuesday night! The waitress suggested we try the Caesar salad, saying it's the best she's ever had. I generally don't go for Caesar because it's boring, but this was amazing! She recommended the shortrib potpie which was SO RICH and SO LARGE! My daughter loved it. I went for fish, which was definitely the least interesting, but most healthy of our choices. I can honestly say that the food menu here is nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we opened the menu, we were impressed by the variety and creativity. Everything was amazing; however, the true five-star rating is due to the DESSERT. F****** amazing. Get them all. Do not leave without trying SOMETHING on the dessert menu. I really like Liquid Assets. It is something a bit different. It's a fine wine store with a fine dining restaurant, and all at the beach!! I've eaten there a few times and sat at the bar both times. The food and service is excellent and friendly. This most recent time I had an old fashioned drink and the elevated grilled cheese. Very good! But they have more traditional entrees as well.
