We came here after a morning of fishing with empty bellies . They were close enough and within walking distance from our hotel . They only have outdoor seating and the weather was a little chilly but thank goodness they were able to put down decide of the tent we were seated in which blocked the wind and help keep some warmth inside. They also have a bar that sits right on the dock and it's covered that people were watching games on the multiple tvs. I decided to go with a boom boom shrimp and the chicken tenders with fries basket because I figure you couldn't get that wrong and with the chill, I wanted something deep fried and hot lol. I did request for the sauce to be on the side for the shrimp so that I could control if I wanted it or not. The shrimp or your average frozen pre battered shrimp and one even came with a piece of hair. The french fries were hot and crispy along with the chicken strips and they got the job done. read more

The service, bouncers, and staff were extremely rude. I've never been more uncomfortable with the way they were talking.

I wanted to eat lunch outside on the bay, watch the boats come in with the local catch, and listen to "DJ Harvey Cinco" (so I thought). I guess all of O.C. had the same idea with the nice weather because the deck was definitely rocking. It was LOUD, lively, and very crowded on the dock. I found what I was looking for under "Speciality Sandwiches " , "The Big Fish" , with cilantro lime sauce and served with Old Bay chips, pickle, and slaw . I love a simple fried fish sandwich on a potato roll and this did not disappoint. The disappointment was only canned beer, with a very poor selection of IPA's , and how LOUD the music was! Good place for food and drinks that is right on the water. They had live music and the servers were nice. I had the fish and chips, shrimp, and fish tacos. All the seafood tasted fresh. Checked out Mr. Ducks during our stay in Ocean City. It feels like a very touristy type of place and the food/pricing sort of reflected that. It's a tiki-bar style with some nice views of the water on the outside deck. Loved some of the themes on the outside bar. The beers were cold but the food left much to be desired. We split some of the crab balls for an app, those were very good, enjoyed the dipping sauce those came with. 5 balls for $17 little too much. My wife got a salad that she said was okay, nothing special. For my entree I went with the Maryland fish and chips. Some beer battered rockfish that comes with Old Bay chips unless you pay the extra to upgrade for some fries. The fish was decent, 4 small pieces but it was a little too greasy for my liking and fell apart too easily, was definitely expecting more. They had a special beer collab with Burley Oak that you can only get a Mr. Ducks, this was cool. Service was timely and friendly. It's definitely worth checking out during your visit to Ocean City, just don't expect to be blown away. read more

Found this place nearby to where we were staying at. All the seating is outdoor, however the bar area is kind of covered. Our waitress was super nice and overall really helpful with any questions we had. Couldn't of asked for better service. Definitely a more casual place with a nice view with being on the water. Some things we ordered were: -fish tacos (2/5) -crab balls (5/5) -spicy chicken sandwich(4/5) -buffalo wings (2/5) -crab cake sandwich but with salad instead (4/5) -strawberry cooler, mimosas (5/5) There were a few other things but I can't remember. This is one of my favorite bars in lower Ocean City overlooking the bay. This is a happening place. We were waiting to board the yellow OC (Ocean City) Rocket high speed boat. When we arrived here two customers left the bar. We sat on their two bar stools at the bar. I enjoyed my Berlin Peach Press for $10.41. There is a credit card surcharge. This always seems to be the bar just about everyone I know ends up at, at some point during the summer. The bad reviews are silly. This is a bar by the water, don't get it twisted. Great merch and enough bartenders to keep the drinks flowing. Just come expecting that and you'll have a great time. Any bar is going to have some trouble with finding a seat, get over it. The food and outdoor seating are very good. The perfect time to come is at sunset because the restaurant faces the bay, and you can watch the sunset. I enjoyed a broiled crab cake sandwich (the options were either broiled or fried), and it comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, and a side of bagged chips. I had to ask for some tartar sauce, and the only thing the sandwich was missing was a pickle. I did not upgrade for fries. I shared an appetizer of the crabby pretzel which was also delicious. We spent a week in the OC in September at the Cambria hotel across the street from Mr. Ducks. It quickly became our "go to" lunch spot. Plenty of outdoor tables and super friendly service. We felt like one of the locals by the end of the week (this place seems to be a local favorite). Unfortunately I only tried "The Pounder" crab tower (1lb of lump crab) on our last day, and boy was this a huge mistake...I should have been ordering this from day one! It was amazing! Heaps of large pieces of super fresh crab with just the right amount of old bay seasoning. It was served hot, and with a dip of butter just melted in your mouth. I would highly recommend ordering this with a friend, as my wife and I shared this and I don't think we even finished. I'm also a fan of the ahi tuna nachos, which were just the right mix of fresh tender ahi tuna and crunchy chip with a bit of seaweed on top. Perfect appetizer to share before you gorge on "The Pounder!" Again, big fan of Mr. Ducks and can't wait for our next trip back to OC so I can binge on more crab! read more

My husband worked at the Talbot Inn in college and always raved about the burger so I had to give it a try. It was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! The fries were also delicious! My family and I came here for dinner one night, and honestly, it was great. The ambience was very relaxing by the docks. We were lucky and had a spot by the side of the water. We found out the local story of the name of M.R. Ducks and also enjoyed a sample of this restaurant in an Ocean City foodie tour. Our sample was so good we went back the next day! It did not disappoint (except that they were out of the crab cake sandwich.) Blackened Mahi fish tacos were filling and delicious as was the Buffleburger. They told us we had to wait and after 30 minutes, we asked what the deal is, they told us they had no idea how long it would take. Another 30 minutes go by and we asked the same question. Now the answer is completely different. There's only 1 table available to us and we're the fourth in line. we wasted more than an hour and a half waiting for this place for them to tell us the simple answer that they could've told us 30 minutes in.
