Exceedingly delicious, fresh, hot, wonderful donuts, perhaps the best donut I've ever had... I've only had made-to-order donuts once before while on vacation in North Carolina and Sandy Pony is 100x better, totally worth the price. Will definitely be going back and would absolutely consider getting a dozen to bring to an event or gathering. read more

They have everything you could want on a donut and are worth a special trip. Lemon glaze with coconut can't be beat!

Friendly customer service, great location, and a great variety of delicious donuts. Sandy Pony Donuts are what Donuts should be: fresh, flavorful and satisfying. I got the Ms. Sandy for $1.75 (tax included) and it was delicious. The Donuts are a little pricey but for made to order quality ingredients you get your money's worth. read more

Ordered a dozen different varieties and had one "hot" as recommended. So good we got another 1/2 dozen before even making it out if the shop. Definitely lived up to our expectations! read more

These donuts are delicious. They offer classic and fun flavors. My favorite has lucky charms cereal on top!

My husband amd i just bought coffee and donuts from this location. We went through the drive-thru. The man taking our order seemed new, so it took some repeating get get our order right which i dont mind. The overall customer service was good. As for my drink, i decided to try something new...Frozen Coffee Coolatta. The taste threw me back. It didnt taste like coffee at all, it tasted like burnt tequila. Im not a fan of this drink, but it was my fault for trying something new. read more

Delicious!!!!! Warm, crispy on the outside, soft and doughy in the inside. Try Ms. Sandy. That's the best donut on the menu.

Wonderful experience! Hot, fresh, delicious donuts. They had a great variety and you can customize to your liking. I found the service to be expeditious and friendly. One thing I truly valued was that it is a family business. The friendly young gentleman behind the register addressed one of the women as "mom" working alongside him. I love supporting family businesses. They had a nice car show in the adjacent lot Sunday morning. There was a variety of ages, classic, luxury cars and families walking around. The car show did not effect customer parking which was great for me as I am 37 weeks pregnant. I highly recommend buying a dozen as they are so good you will regret leaving with just 1 or 2. I also enjoyed a bubble tea while I was there. In my opinion this is a welcome addition to Annapolis! read more

Custom donuts! You can order fresh warm donuts two ways. You can customize them or you can choose from the many combinations they have on display. The donuts are a little smaller than most places but they taste great. read more

These donuts are really good. They're made fresh when you order and they do cost more than your regular donut shop but are worth it!

The most amazing donuts I've ever had. Makes me happy. The donuts are made to order so they are serve soft and warm. We tried six different flavors and all were very delicious. Highly recommended. read more

Amazing, amazing, amazing! Absolutely love this place. The suffer dude donut is delicious. The donuts are made to order so they are nice and hot when you get them. The service is great and very friendly. I would highly recommend this place read more

Loved the idea, hot fresh donuts made to order. The porky pony was the best one out of the 6 different ones we tried. For my wife to also agree that this was her favorite is a shocker, as she usually avoids bacon on sweets. We will definitely go again as the prices are more than reasonable when compared to other places when looking at the quality and freshness that you get. read more

These donuts are soooo good. Each one I have tried makes it harder and harder to choose my favorite. A very friendly staff as well. These donuts are worth every calorie. You will not regret it. read more

Great flavours. Tried the Mary Lemon which could be a bit tarter but very good. Ice cream was blah and not worth the extra.

Holy Smokes and Google Donuts, Batman!! They make the donuts right when you order. They come out hot, soft, and heaped with the toppings you choose! I was expecting expensive prices, but our half dozen was only $8ish bucks! This place is a TREAT!! read more

Amazing first experience at this cute donut shop in Annapolis!! Great owners who were friendly and energetic despite the ugly weather outside. Nothing beats a warm and TASTY donut anytime of the day!! FANTASTIC and HIGHLY recommended! Step aside Fractured Prune and don't even THINK about DD... read more

Sandy Pony Donuts - Shown: Sea Foam - Donuts Near Me - Annapolis, Maryland

Delicious donuts, quick and friendly service. Served hot, something altogether different from something sitting on a rack all day.

My wife and I love Sandy Pony!! We tried them down in Chincoteague last summer and were beyond stoked when they opened their Annapolis location. I'm embarrassed to say how many of these I've probably consumed in one sitting so I won't, but a dozen is a must as they are really good after they've been sitting for a few hours. read more

Love Sandy Pony!!! Bubble tea and donuts are two of my favorite things, so this has become a regular stop for me in Annapolis. The owners are terrific and friendly, and the place is spotless. I would agree that at least for right now, the donut menu isn't quite as varied as Fractured Prune - but this place is brand new as a brick and mortar shop (as opposed to the food truck style venue they run in the summer). Some of the variety missing from their regular menu comes forth in the "specials" they offer periodically. One of my fave FP donuts has always been the one with the apple glaze, so I was thrilled with SP had an apple glazed special just before the holidays this year. Give them time and I would bet some of the more popular specials may make it onto the regular menu. Finally, I have to say that even though I liked the donuts the very first time I came here (actually the first weekend they were open In Annapolis), they have improved since then. I say this to address the reviews stating that they are greasy or heavy. I too found them to be a little heavy that first visit, but that has not been the case since. My only guess there would be that the fryer was perhaps not quite as hot as it should have been initially, and donuts were coming out a little heavy on the oil. I've found them just about perfect in the visits since. I'll add that they taste best hot, or at least warm. If you're planning to box these up and let them sit for a while before eating, they will not be as good. I hope this place sticks around for a long time! read more

Absolutely, without a doubt, the best donuts I have ever eaten. Not even Fractured Prune can come close to these perfect treats. Made fresh, with delicious toppings and served hot so they almost melt in your mouth. Our family's favorite place to grab a treat. The kids love the Pony Pile, a scoop of vanilla ice creaming top of their favorite donut. Ms.Sandy, Strawberry Stallion, Merry Lee-Mon, to many delicious options to name them all. (We keep hoping they will add an orange glaze. Pretty please!!!) The service is always fast, friendly and eager to please. The prices are surprisingly reasonable. All around a great little donut shop! read more

Love, love, love these doughnuts!!! Hot and fresh, made to order. Basic flavors are best. Wear your stretchy pants and enjoy.

The staff is absolutely wonderful! As one can imagine picking your donuts can be the hardest decision you will make all day never a disappointment! Very clean atmosphere and friendly professional staff. Keep up the good work guys! read more

I submitted a large order on their website after hours for a next day pick up. Within minutes the OWNER emailed me and said they could fulfill the order the next morning. I called first thing the next morning and the gentleman I spoke to already knew about the order and confirmed it would be ready by 8am. Incredible customer service to go along with their delicious donuts. I cannot say enough great things about Sandy Pony Donuts. Thank you so much Ben! You and your team rock! read more

I absolutely love Sandy Pony Donuts!! The Chincoteague location is just what the island needed! We go there all the time in the summer. It just hits the spot as a light breakfast before going to the beach! Thank you Sandy Pony!! read more

This donut shop is amazing! They do hand dipped donuts for a reasonable price. The donuts are definitely more cake like then a donut place like Dunkin' Donuts. They have flavors like, regular powdered sugar, blueberry, lemon, maple bacon, sprinkles and so much more. I really recommend this donut place over Dunkin. read more

I love this place! Fresh delicious donuts with friendly openly gay staff. What they are doing here is great for the LGBT community. There is nothing better then supporting fellow gay business owners. Sandy Pony is delicious and they are PROUD of who they are! Me and my partner will be having them cater our wedding. read more

Tried these delicious made-to-order donuts while visiting Chincoteague this summer and so glad their new storefront location is going to be right around the corner from my work! Once they open I plan to bring a dozen or two of these fresh && hot donuts to our office meetings. There are so many different flavors to try - but one of my all time favorites is the "Aw Shucks" which has TONS of rainbow sprinkles!!! - Who doesn't love sprinkles!?!? I only know one person and they probably aren't really human. read more

Better than Fractured Prune, definitely my new favorite donut shop

Their donuts are made to order and are amazing. There are lots of different and creative flavors and you can even get ice cream on top of your donuts. My favorite thus far is "The Surfer Dude" which had warm melted chocolate chips and cinnamon. read more

Good bubble tea! They only have cake donuts, so I didn't try the donuts, but they had a large variety of toppings.

Technically the donuts aren't made to order. The donuts are made already, and then you order the toppings you want on them. The service was great, but I was not impressed with the donuts. I live locally, and have not been back since my first trip. read more

Oh my gosh, these are the best donuts ever! They make them to order and you can watch as they "assemble" your donut toppings. Warm donuts; super nice owners and a cute shop! It's a must! Don't forget the Pony Pile ~ donut with award winning ice cream on top. read more

This place is AWFUL! FULL OF GREASE. You will WANT to THROW UP. We ordered 3 donuts at our office and we are paying for it. I don't know if they deep fried them in every animal that ever walked this earth but please don't put yourself through this pain. We all have belly aches and did not finish our donuts. The taste of these donuts is like hot sugar and deep fried fat...literally. I had the surfer...mine was like chocolate chips on top of hot deep fried fat. You will be hugging the toilet from one end or the other. You have been warned. It's definitely not worth $1.50. Save your money and your stomach lining! read more

Over priced one dimensional donuts. I like the idea that they're made to order, however they're all the same other than what the donuts are dipped in. I can think of a few other places with better homemade donuts. My daughter enjoyed them but I do t think I'll be back for more read more

What a great Donut Shop! It beats all the others by a mile. Many, many different flavors, all made fresh for while you wait (but not for long). Maybe a little more expensive but definitely well worth it. You can't pass this up - give it a try. read more

friendly staff. Terrific donuts. But they're all custom made to order and I can take a few minutes. So if you're in a real hurry keep in mind it will be five or 10 minutes read more

I have tried donuts everywhere in the dmv. These were okay. I don't prefer the hot made to order donuts. And we were rushed to order. They were pretty small cakey donuts. Don't live around there but wouldn't make it out there for that again. read more
