SMALL but MIGHTY. I grew up with this place. They're always fresh and friendly. I feel like I'm home. I've brought it all and loved it.

This place is clearly a beloved local institution. Our family made the trek one snowy weekend morning and had our sights set on trying a variety. It was challenging to get out of the house at the planned time (read: we have a threenager) and I knew that it would make a difference getting there early. We arrived to a full parking lot and you can imagine my fading excitement as I watched the two remaining chocolate frosted yeast donuts be bagged for the two customers before me in line. Don't get me wrong: Everything else looked great, but if it ain't chocolate I don't want it. I swallowed my pride and asked if there were ANY more of the prized chocolatey treats in the back. The staff took pity on me and FRESHLY DIPPED two for me. They were still warm when I got to the car and tasted what's now my favorite local donut. To start off, I'm an absolute doughnut whore. If I see a doughnut anywhere, I will buy it and I will eat it, no matter the price or the flavor. I love the light airy texture of Krispy Kreme but the flavor leaves a lot to be desired. Places like Laurel Tavern, Carlson's in Severn, and Breads Unlimited in Bethesda all deliver in taste, but fall short on texture. With my wife out of town, I was finally able to give Arundel Donuts a visit to sneak in some diabetes and I'm happy to report that my journey to find that perfect combination of flavor and texture has come to an end! Food - infinity/5 Let me just take a second to focus on the texture. Holy... Cow... As you bite into the doughnut, you get a satisfying chew that then gives way to a luxurious, pillow-y finish. Flavor is far from lacking. Their honey-dipped doughnut has a honey glaze that isn't too sweet or vanilla dominant like other plain, glazed doughnuts. Their cinnamon roll isn't drenched in cloyingly sweet icing, so that you can actually savor the cinnamon sugar mix. But my favorite was the chocolate glazed cruller. Words cannot describe, just muah *chef's kiss*. I tend to like my apple fritters with a higher apple filling to dough ratio, but this dough was so good, I didn't even care. I bought a half-dozen, finished all of them by the end of the day and my only regret was that I didn't splurge for the full dozen. Value - 3/5 This place is slightly more expensive than your massive doughnut conglomerate chains but the price is completely justified by the quality. Don't come here expecting to pay KK or Dunkin' prices. Cash only (they also accept venmo and cashapp)! Service - 5/5 I got here at the a**-crack of dawn and to my surprise there was already a line out the door. Owners were busy fulfilling boxes upon boxes of telephone orders but still took the time to make me some recommendations while the line steadily grew behind me. I only tried the donuts and they did not disappoint. I've only been once, but I plan on going back to see if it is consistent. This is a spot that you will drive by with no problem but if you do it's your fault. The doughnuts are are made with LOVE, it's a family run business that opens early and closes early so if you them get there before 10am. There doughnuts are worth getting up early aond I let drive from the city at least twice a week for these doughnuts and it's worth the drive. I never knew I could enjoy donuts so much! I ordered two dozen donuts for Thanksgiving dinner for myself and the family. Everyone absolutely loved it. The texture was incredible. The donuts were soft, moist, and sweet, but not too sweet. The apple fritter was my favorite one. The cinnamon roll was amazing as well. I loved the variety included. Unassuming donut place next to McDonald's and across the street from the Geresbecks in Glen Burnie. I'd been driving by it for a while now and never knew it was there until I saw it on Yelp. Picked up 2 dozen assorted donuts to take to work and got an apple fritter for myself. The apple fritter was large and generous on the cinnamon, which I enjoyed. I asked if everything on the shelves was included in the price of a dozen and the woman behind the counter said yes, which is nice to not have to care about up-charges for certain things. Remember: cash only! They make fresh donuts daily, so you better go early if you are eyeing a particular donut! A tiny shack with a tiny parking lot and a tiny waiting area. Sounds like the beginning of a Dr Seuss book. But the donuts are good. But the place is only open until 11:30 so get there early if you want a decent selection. They sell out all the time. This is not a franchise that will just thaw out some more donuts. If you miss the entrance of their tiny parking lot(and it's easy too) just pull in to the next shopping center. You can actually park closer to the front door. We were in town watching our granddaughters so their parents could take a trip. We saw this place as we were driving around and thought we should try it sometime. I stopped in mid morning on a Sunday and they were not sold out yet. I was happy to see they offered both a peanut option and a coconut one. The Strawberry Muffin; the moment you bite into this piece of euphoric bliss, you can feel the extremely light, airy and fluffiness whooshing into your mouth. Yet the moment it touches your tongue and gets wet, it becomes dense, chewy and bursts with subtle flavor. Is that even possible? *bursting with subtle flavor* ?? It is now! The taste and feel of this creation is top notch and in my experience, one of a kind! Their Cronuts are also marvelous with its buttery, rich flavor and almost-melt in your mouth texture.
