Came for coffee with a friend while I was in town. I had a Caramel cappuccino and they had a regular cappuccino. Both were decent. They definitely have a lot of great options if you want something sweeter. We hung out for a few hours, they have a good seating area, was never overly busy on a Saturday morning. They have a drive thru for convenience as well. They have food available but I didn't try any. It is very similar to Starbucks in that matter, most of it seems to be reheated in the toaster oven. I love the concept of the shop though, it's New Orleans based so they have beignets and some other items inspired by that. I'm sure I will come back here whenever Im visiting my parents. Pretty busy here on a Tuesday morning but now I understand why. I ordered online and my order was ready sooner than expected which was a plus. I'd say it's pretty quiet in this place. I love how comfy the seating looks. Very clean place. 3 beignets 11/10: This was possibly the first time I ever had a beignet and PJ's knocked it out of the park! I visited PJ's on a whim a few weeks back. Although I didn't plan on staying initially, their vibe made me. I caught up with my book while munching their humble but delicious Spinach Feta pie. Located in a really narrow street, entering and exiting can be a tad painful but once you're in, it's easy to navigate. They have both drive-through and dine-in options but I'd recommend dining in as the parking lot felt cramped and not recommended on a hot day. I'll certainly visit them again another day. read more

Not the place for me. Banana Foster The milk was over scalded giving it a distinct, strong metallic taste, and the coffee tasted burnt. There was also no hint of banana, if real banana purée is used then petals the reduction process could be increased to give it a more robust presence. The flavor profile of the drink as a whole was completely off and didn't meet the name of the drink. Beignets Well, they appeared to be freshly prepared, the grease presence tasted as if old grease was used. That flavor was a bit overpowering in every bite. The sauces I chose was pumpkin sauce and white chocolate, however, the cashier when recommending them made it sound as if the sauces came with it. I was a bit surprised to see a 50 Cent charge per sauce on the receipt. No I'm not griping over a dollar, it's more of the principle of more awareness and again I should have taken more time to read the menu as that may have been presented the up charge on there. PJS! I pretty much only go for the beignets but the coffee is actually legit. I usually drink coffee black unless I'm feeling wild and go for something like a flavored latte and also generally iced. Now for the BEIGNETs. They make them fresh and they come in HOT! and covered with a generous amount of powdered sugar that if you get some on your clothes or your hands, you're doing it right. You can get an individual one if you're feeling petite but also go crazy and get a half dozen. The beignet possibilities are only what you make them be it. The only downside is this location is so far from where I live and I'd like a closer location to me so I can get beignets. I guess saves me from indulging too much haha. I recently visited PJ's Coffee for the first time using a gift card a friend gave me because she knows I love coffee. I had been excited to try this location. When I walked in, I politely asked Christina at the register if I could use the restroom and explained that I would be purchasing something. She initially said yes and handed me the key. At that point, Connor overheard the interaction and told me that I needed to make a purchase first. I calmly explained that I fully intended to purchase something and simply needed to use the restroom first. I then proceeded to order a small caramel iced coffee with half-and-half, but there was repeated confusion about the order, including being asked multiple times if I wanted milk after I had already clarified what I wanted. I was ultimately charged for a medium instead of the small I requested, which caused me to pay beyond the gift card amount. While I was speaking with Christina, Connor spoke across the store to say that he "wasn't yelling, just telling me," which made an already awkward interaction feel even more uncomfortable. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable enough to even use the restroom. I simply took my drink and left. The coffee itself was decent (7/10), but the customer service experience from Christina and Connor felt unnecessarily tense and unwelcoming over what should have been a very simple interaction. I really enjoyed my hot Honey Oat Milke Latte ($5.95 for a large), which had a lot of depth in flavor. It was rich without being too overly sweet. My partner got the Cold Brew Shaken Espresso ($5.60 for a large). It had a weird burnt coffee flavor to it that he did not like very much. Usually cold brews have a smooth profile, but this one was very robust in flavor. The service was friendly and fast. They also sell PJ merchandise, like shirts, hoodies, flasks, etc. they also have chess boards on the tables. You just have to ask the barista for the pieces. There is decent seating, including some nice couches to lounge on. Definitely a nice place to get some work done. read more

Having never been to a PJ's coffee before I excitedly came here when I learned they recently opened. They have beignets on their menu so of course I was going to go to try those specifically. I also decided to grab a chai tea latte as well. I looked at the menu online last night and already knew what I wanted so when I pulled up to the speaker I was able to quickly order. It was difficult to hear through the drive-through speaker so make sure to speak loudly so they can hear you as well. I went with the beignets and asked for there not to be so much sugar on it but they weren't able to accommodate my request stating they already come with sugar on them. That was interesting but I rolled with it. It took a little bit for me to receive my order but as soon as I was handed my beignets, I loved how warm they were. They were warmer than my chai tea latte interesting enough. They offer non-dairy milk options such as oat, coconut, and almond milk. I'm glad there is a coffee option out this way but I wasn't impressed enough to make the drive out here just for them. Perhaps it's what I got or my personal tastes but I was not impressed. My coffee was just ok, not bad or not great and a little cold for my liking, but I like it steaming. The biggest disappoint was the beignets. A frequent visitor to New Orleans , I had higher expectations. The light, airy, flaky doughnut is not what I got. Basically, it's way too dense to be a beignet. You get too doughy of a taste. I see raving reviews here, so I'm an outlier. The shop is nice and lots of selections and very reasonable prices. I went to PJ's coffee earlier this month after work. It was before lunch and I was super hungry. Melissa and Val were working that day and they were both very helpful. I got the breakfast croissant with sausage and chai latte with a shot of espresso. They both recommended the sandwich and the drink and I was very pleased with both. My new favorite coffee place. The beignets were hot soft and covered with powdered sugar a la New Orleans style . they came in a cute little cake bag. They come in 3, 6 or.12 to an order. I should have gotten 12. Somebody tell them about lagniappe. I need a bakers dozen. I had a cafe au lait, also a NOLA style of coffee. It was very good,-- bright shiny and new. Very clean. The baristas were very professional and active. My only problem is this a 30 minute ride from.my house. But its worth the trip. I cant wait for king cakes to come back around! read more

While visiting Baltimore, we decided to stop by a local place one morning for a little light breakfast. We ordered coffees, a latte, a cuban sandwich, and bite sized beignets. While sitting there, we got to hear the owner talk to a few people about his life story, why he chose to become a franchisee, and how he hopes for this business to grow. This branch is fairly new, they have a lot of new staff (with training signs), but the service was fast. Everything was well made, the establishment was clean, we we enjoyed all our items. The breakfast sandwich tasted like a reheated, pre-made knockoff you'd only touch if you were starving, locked up, or had no other option. I've never been to New Orleans or had beignets ever anywhere else but I've always wanted to try them. PJ's beignets were a great first experience of the delectable sweet. They were hot and fresh, soft but just enough chew that made every bite so enjoyable. I paired those with a matcha latte which I have been on a personal quest to try every place I go that has it on the menu to discover who has the best matcha latte! This also did not disappoint. What a wonderful little coffee shop! I heard about this location from a friend and finally had a chance to try them out. I placed my order online and stopped by this morning to pick it up. It's close to a school so depending on the time you stop by, there will be traffic. I ordered beignets and a frozen matcha. both were delicious. The beignets were perfect to me because I like a sweeter beignet. the order was ready when I got there and the food was still warm by the time I made it home 12 minutes later. Absolutely fabulous! They bake all of their pastries in house, beignets are fabulous and this is the best cinnamon roll I have ever had. The coffee is smooth and strong. We have been to PJ's in NOLA and we were excited when we read one was coming to the area! We swung by here a few days after it opened to give it a try. My husband ordered an iced coffee and I ordered a latte. We also got breakfast sandwiches and shared an order of beignets. The folks working the counter were friendly, but were clearly still training (and there were signs indicated they were still in training). The food and drinks took awhile, but everything was delicious. In particular, the breakfast sandwiches tasted super fresh (probably the best of any coffee place in the area) and the beignets, while a little different than the ones we had in NOLA, were super tasty. We sat inside at a table, and there was plenty of seating and a few outlets for folks who choose to work there. The manager/owner (?- our best guess) was working at a nearby table and swung by to ask how everything was, he was very friendly. There was also a drive-through. We are very glad this place joined the area, as there are very few specialty coffee places nearby. I am excited to see how this place evolves over the next few months! read more

A 25 minute wait in the drive thru at 1:30 in the afternoon is a bit too long for me. I was told there was an issue with my cup (?) and was charged an extra 25¢ for a new one? We hadn't even touched the cup... "Southern Wedding Cake" Latte was not good at all. The mini beignet bites were good but not for $6. read more
