Ok, so my husband and I attempted to paint our coping of our pool. BIG mistake, we ended up making it look HORRIBLE. So I found Sanchez Coatings and had them come have a look and see if they could fix it. Steve came and had a look and assured me that it was fixable. He sent us a quote the next day and it also contained various things that we could fix optionally. We opted just to go for the coping fix and a design to make it look like stone. OMG, it looks like a new pool. We LOVE it. These guys were on time, and very reasonably priced. I would definitely use them again! White is before, rest are after. Approximately 15 months ago Sanchez Coatings was hired by our pool GC to perform and complete the pool deck, patios, breezeway and walkway for our home. An employee of Sanchez Coating came to our property twice. First visit was to measure and a few days later the bid was given to our GC, who then quoted us the price. Approximately a couple of weeks later the same employee came out and remeasured and then increased the price. During the second visit the employee said to the GC and myself that for them to warranty the work it would be an additional $500.We were already being charged for additional prep work for the coating application. As a matter of principle I refused to pay the additional $500 after already having the quote increased. In good faith our GC stepped up and paid the additional $500. Within 3 months the deck coating at the base of a very long step began to flake off the concrete. I readily brought this to our GC's attention. He contacted Sanchez Coatings. No action was taken on Sanchez Coatings part to ever contact us over the last 15 months, or respond to our GC's attempts over the last few months. My attempts are as follows Fall 2021-Summer 2022. Fall 2021 - I spoke with an older female in the office on 3 separate occasions, she said she would pass on the information, no one ever called.I called and left several messages on the business number, no one ever called.I phoned the employee that came out to my property and spoke with her twice, she said they would check into it, no one ever called. I sent multiple texts along with pictures to the employee, no one ever called. Spring 2022- I then sent and email and certified letter, no one ever called and they did not claim the letter. As a last resort I contacted the BBB, registered a complaint and asked for the BBB to mediate the matter. According to the BBB after several good faith attempts Sanchez Coating's has not replied to their inquiry on the matter, as far as I know. Thus the lack of inaction and honoring of the warranty is the reason for this review and rating. The estimate to repair the damage is now $671. Had Sanchez stepped up when first contacted it would have been a much easier fix. Overall I am pleased with the job that Sanchez Coating performed. The color and the workmanship is good and they protected our pool from damage. This review is solely based on their refusal of honoring their advertised warranty. Horrible workmanship and despicable lack of customer service. I'd give them -5 stars if that were possible. Pool company hired them to fix the pool deck after we resurfaced the pool. They did a horrible, messy job and left stuff in the pool -- I had to hire a diver to clean up the pool. When cracks showed up in their resurfacing, pool company was unable to get Sanchez to come out, inspect what happened, and discuss possible fixes. Sanchez coatings was hired by my pool company in 2019 to redo my decking. According to my statements, I paid $12,100 for the repairs and $2,000 to have it sealed so it would be less resistant to staining. Within a month or two after the work was done the decking started to crack, chip and lift all over. I contacted my pool company who put me in touch with Sanchez. They sent someone out to look at it and they gave me a quote of over $11,000 to fix the work they had just done as opposed to doing the job correctly. It has not been just over a year and it is falling apart. I would never recommend this company. It is hard to tell from the picks but there is literally space below the surface where it did not adhere at all to the concrete below and it is lifted up all over the deck. read more

Sanchez Coatings was recommended by the excellent company (Texas Pools & Patios) that poured our new patio and built our outdoor fireplace. We had called multiple companies about acid staining our patio, but were dismayed when most didn't even return our calls! Sanchez Coatings was hired by our pool remodeler. When we met with the owner, Willie Sanchez, we discussed colors and materials. He said he understood what we wanted. His crew made a mess on our deck, landscaping and home. The texture was inconsistent and below standard and they used the wrong colors and coated our home and landscape areas. When we discussed this with Willie he defended the work and said it was up to industry standards. Since we were not satisfied he made samples to get the colors and texture right. They couldn't get it right. Willie told us that we would never be satisfied. After many meetings and attempts our pool remodeler offered to let us hire a company of our choice. We chose Sundek and our experience with them was dramatically different. They got it right the first time, to industry standards and were pleasant to work with (cheaper too). Willie was never truthful with us. We later found out through the pool remodeler that Willie had fired the crew that did our patio because their work was substandard. read more
